Hers is not a complicated life. She actually has what people see as a perfect one. She was born rich, like so very rich. She has loving parents, sweet brother, thoughtful grandparents, and kind relatives. She has loyal and fun best friends. She owns a successful shop and an elegant home. She has what a lot of ladies her age wants in life. And yet, she has not experienced what most girls her age already have. She hasn't gone on a date with a guy she can call boyfriend nor has cried a river of tears after a real break-up with a guy she, again, can call boyfriend. She hasn't had a boyfriend. She has never been in a relationship because apparently, her 13 year-old childhood crush and 22 year-old first heartbreak aren't counted as boyfriends. They are just the boys she used to know. All she has ever wanted to have before she turns 30 and ever single person in her life knows that is to be in a real relationship. Even him. Him who has kept her real feelings for her - his childhood crush, his first love, his best friend's sister - for like forever. Him who has seen her grows up to be the woman that she is now. Him who has witness her cry on sad moments and smile on happy ones. And when they get their chance in love with everyone around them approving it, her fears rise up and a girl from the his past shows up, troubling the relationship they both desire to have. Will she be able to let go of her fears and be able to have the only thing she has ever dreamed of? Or will the dream just fade like the memories she work so hard to keep and remember?

HER PEOPLE'S CONVERSATION

Their group enjoyed listening to Megan's entire session and when she went back to their table after, they still continued the fun with another bottle of wine. They left the bar an hour before it closed and moved their separate ways home, leaving Agatha and Storm alone.

"Are they going to be alright?" Megan asked Abby while waiting for their guys to bring the car.

"They are, I think." Then the two looked at each other with genuine concern for the two people they chose to leave alone. Krizle couldn't help but smirked.

"Relax girls. You're leaving two fine adults alone, not elementary students in their school uniforms. They'll be fine."

They exchanged glances before Megan and Abby sighed and both said,

"Okay."

Just then, the cars showed up one by one and they all said goodbye to each other before getting in to their own cars. Storm and Agatha watched them left the area from the balcony.

"How long have you been friends?" Agatha asked.

"Since middle school."

"And inseperable since then?"

"Yup." Storm smiled then walked back to their table to pour himself a glass of wine. "Very inseperable. Those two are the sisters I never had."

"You don't have a sister?"

"Nope. Just two older brothers."

"Oh. Are they on the same business as you?"

"They're actually in the States helping my parents run the winery and the farm. My oldest brother is a chef so he also owned a few restaurants there."

"Is everyone in your family living in the States?"

"My parents and brothers, yes. My other relatives are here." Agatha just nodded. "And you? What's your family history?"

"Haven't I taked about them in my blog?"

"Uhmmm, no." Storm answered with a smirked and a head shaking. "I don't think so."

"Well, I'm an only child of my mom and the youngest of my dad. I was very much loved by mom but was easily abandoned by my dad especially when he found out I dropped out of school to be a celebrity."

"And ahmm, your siblings?"

"Never met them."

"Oh. Well," They exchanged glances of understanding and gratitude. "thank you for sharing your story."

"Thank you for listening."

They smiled at each other and made a toast with their wine glass.

"Had a good day today?" Michael asked as soon as she got in and he began driving.

"I did. You?"

"Minus the no drinking, I actually did." They chuckled with his answer then Michael held Abby's hand and squeezed it gently. "I'm very happy to see you smiling the entire night."

"I guess that's because everything's doing well in my life right now. Plus, Megan's playlist was awesome tonight." They smiled at each other and Michael held her hand tighter before kissing it.

"So, you're leaving for Spain next week?"

"Yup. Are you okay about it?"

"Yes, of course. It's for the growth of your shop so I totally support you on that. I'll think of it as a business trip."

"Thank you."

"Though one month is kind of long." Michael stopped the car when they reached the stoplight and looked at Abby with sad eyes. "Thinking about it already makes me miss you terribly."

"Me, too. And I'm sorry it has to be on Friday."

"I understand. But we still have more birthdays to come to celebrate together."

"Thank you." The traffic light turned green and Michael started the car even before hearing a horn from the car behind them.

"And since I won't get to hold this hand for a very long time, I hope we can spend another weekend with just the two of us."

"That sounds like a good idea."

"You're game?"

"Of course. Where are we going?"

"Japan."

"What?"

"Are you okay?" Krizle was rubbing Apollo's arm as he used the other one to slightly massaged his head. They were at the back seat of the car that Jorge was driving and who was now checking on him from the rearview mirror.

"Want some medicine señorito?"

"No, I'm good. Thank you Tio Jorge. I just had too much wine tonight." Apollo looked at Krizle and gave her a reassuring smile. "I'm okay darling."

He then gave her a kiss on the forehead and that's when Krizle smiled back at him.

"That's good. So can I ask you something?"

"What is it?"

"What did you say to Michael when we were in the powder room earlier?"

"Huh?"

"After witnessing him kiss your sister on the lips, for the first time? I bet you didn't keep your mouth silent."

Krizle smirked as she took all the staring that Apollo was giving her.

"I kind of ask him."

"Kind of?"

"Storm talked to him about it first."

"Oh."

"Yup."

"But you glared at him still."

"I can't help it. I didn't expect that to happen this soon."

"Well, they love each other that much, that's why."

"Toy de Acuerdo, Señorita." They saw Jorge smiled at them from the rearview mirror after giving him his own thought. Apollo smiled back at him while Krizle furrowed.

"What did he say?" She whispered to Apollo after not understanding what he said.

"He agrees with you, darling."

"Oh." And Krizle looked at Jorge once again, this time, with a smile on her face. "Gracias, Tio Jorge."

Jorge gave her a sign of salute then continued to focus himself on the road.

"I really need to catch up with my Spanish now."

"My sweet darling, you really have to."

"You okay there Hun?" Ryan asked Megan who switched places with him to take the driver seat before taking the main road since he drunk more than a glass of wine that night.

"Yup. And you?"

"I'm good. I don't get drank with four glasses of wine."

"Of course you don't but you still drunk some so I'll handle the wheels tonight."

"Has anybody told you that you are so cool?"

"Pretty much everyone who knows me has."

Then she quickly glanced at him to give him a smile and a wink that Ryan couldn't help but chuckled.

"So, are you done packing for your trip?"

"Nope. Haven't even started yet."

"Why not?"

"Waiting for the new clothes I bought that I'll bring there to arrive."

"Ah, that's why."

"That is why. I'm sure you'll look good on those."

"Thanks." Megan stopped the car when they reached the last stop light before their apartment and looked at the concerned face of her fiance. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"C'mon Hun. We might not be together all the time for the past eight years but I know when you're not okay. What is it?"

Ryan stared at her for a moment then sighed.

"Well, my gorgeous fiance staying for one month in a far place with men who would surely get attracted to her, I'm not sure what to feel."

Megan smiled and held Ryan's chin so he could face her.

"You're really concerned about that?"

"Shouldn't I be?"

Megan raised the hand with the engagement ring finger in front of Ryan's face.

"I don't think anyone would dare once they saw how sparkling this stone on my finger is."

And finally, Ryan got to smile and leaned forward to give her a kiss on the lips.

"I'm glad I put a ring on it."

"I'm glad you did."

"I love you."

"I love you, too."

But their sweet moment was interrupted by a horn from the cars behind them and that was only then that they realized the stoplight already turned green. Megan immediately started the car and drove.

"I'm sorry where?" Megan asked as she closed the door of her refrigerator after taking the pitcher of cold water inside. She was on the phone with Storm and Abby when the latter told them of what Michael planned on doing this weekend. It was past midnight and Ryan was already sleeping like a log in their room.

"Did you just say Japan?" Storm wanted to clarify the place he just heard just as he opened the door to his pad. He just got off his car when Abby called and what she said suddenly woke him up.

"I did." Abby answered then sighed. She covered herself with her blanket after slouching on her bed. "He wanted to fly to Japan this weekend because I won't be present on his birthday."

"Oh, a grand early birthday celebration. Have you told Apollo about it yet?"

"Of course, she hasn't." Storm responded for her. "From the liplocking to solo out of the country trip with Michael? She'll give him a heart attack, Megs."

"Oh yeah." Abby felt Megan as she said those two words and her two best friends were right. Her parents would definitely not mind but Apollo was still the same protective brother that no matter how much he trusted Michael, two surprising news would definitely be too much for him. "What to do Marie Abigail?"

"I don't know."
