Hunting Mansion

Jacklyn had straightened her hair, She had a black cardigan reaching down to her thighs and She topped this off with black leather and a red tartan jacket, unzipped. It was decorated with patches, safety pins, studs which some had fallen off. Underneath she wore a fishnet shirt with a few rips and over the top, she wore a black button-up shirt, with an underbust corset with a lace/ivory design imprinted. Around her neck were her favourite leather spiked choker and a few necklaces. Jacklyn wore black skinny jeans which had a lace-up design down the leg. At her waist was studded belts and bandanas hanging from the loops on her jeans. Jacklyn also had wristbands and bracelets on her arms and skull rings of some of her fingers. On her feet were Demonia platforms and to finish off she did her make up a tiny bit differently than usual. She added some green into her make up. Jacklyn did her eyebrows green, her eye make up was black and green and her lips were covered in a dark plum colour.

Ash had straightened his Mohawk and done it pointing upwards instead of off to the side style. He wore a black leather jacket with studs and a few patches, Underneath this was just a plain blacktop. Ash wore black jeans with rips at the knees and around his waist was also studded belts and hanging from the loops on his jeans were also bandanas, same as Jacklyn. Ash wore black lace-up combat boots and finishing it all off was necklaces around his neck, leather fingerless gloves and his basic smudged/Smokey eyeliner.

Both Ash and Jacklyn had weapons hidden away in their outfits just in case something happened Ash had; .45 handgun hidden in a shoulder holster under his leather jacket and Damascus push dagger slid under a bracelet on his wrist. While Jacklyn had a hidden mallet and a revolver.

Scarlett also had her knives and her Katana and was in her hunting attire; Spiked Jeffery Campbell shoes, a long leather trench coat. Leather corset with a tight black shirt with lace shoulders, black leather ripped jeans. Studded belt, fingerless leather gloves and her thick Gothic makeup and her hair was carefully curled at the ends.

"I want to show you what being a hunter is all about. I want to prove to you two that I can do it. That I can look after myself and others. I know I'm a vampire but that doesn't mean I have to live my life just drinking blood all the time. I enjoyed hunting. There is some truly disgusting people out there, Vampires, hunters all those kinds, But there are some good hunters out there. I just want to make sure that you guys are okay with this and the place. Hunting has always been a passion of mine, plus, I want to show you the Mansion." Scarlett said breaking the silence as they walked.

Jacklyn smiled and nodded but Ash did not speak a word and just kept on walking.

"Scarlett. What happens if you do get, you know what... Killed?" Jacklyn asked.

"I won't. I promise you that. If I do somehow or somewhat do. I want you guys to not grieve, don't worry, don't get depressed try your hardest to move on please?" Scarlett responded,

"Scarlett!! How could you make us promise such a thing!" Ash exclaimed.

"Scarlett, how could we not be depressed if you die. Of course, we will be depressed." Jacklyn added.

Scarlett shook her head and continued walking, they walked down a long concrete path, it was so silent all you could hear was Scarlett's, Ash's and Jacklyn's boots hitting off the floor as they walked. Another hour later they arrived at the Mansion. It looked fairly old but surprisingly still standing and some features had been modernized with expensive taste. The stone walls appeared to have cracked more since Scarlett was last there. The entrance was still there followed by stone steps still with no imperfections. The weird thing was, the house has been looked after in some way like someone was present inside since Scarlett left. But who?

The garden had been trimmed and new flowers and rose bushes planted. The boarded windows had been taken down to reveal broken glass windows. The gates have been repainted matt black and padlocked, but the padlock was laying on the floor in front of the gates kind of like someone has broken in through pure force.

"Scarlett? Are you sure you wanna come back here?" Jacklyn softly asked.

Scarlett firmly nodded. Without second thinking or any more words could be spoken, Scarlett had pushed open the Matt black metal gates. They made a loud screeching noise as they scraped the floor, Nothing had changed really. Both Jacklyn and Ash covered their ears from the loud noise and removed their hands when Scarlet turned to them and smiled.

"Let's go" Scarlett demanded.

Jacklyn looked at Ash then back to Scarlett and followed in Scarlett's footsteps down the pathway.

"You could have thought with all the money these people have they could at least try to get less screechy gates. Like really, I didn't need my eardrums anyway. This place looks creepy." Jacklyn laughed to herself.

"I mean its no modern house, but I thought they would have looked after it a bit better, it looks like it about to fall any second now. Maybe we should do it up sometime Scarlett" Ash added.

Scarlett gave a quick smirk and instantly stopped. Jacklyn stopped followed by Ash trailing behind them both. Jacklyn popped her head around Scarlett's shoulder and was beyond amazement.

"Woah!! This is incredible! Being close up it looks even better than further away." she exclaimed!

Scarlett smiled and nodded.

"Yes, But it just feels a little odd... Why would lights be off? I left here with lights on and they're off now. But nobody could be home. Could they? The place seems to have been done up, but nor I or Manson had touched the place. This feels off to me." Scarlett questioned.

"Love, Do you want to go inside. This all seems off. I will stay outside in case somebody comes. You and Jacklyn go inside. I'll be fine outside." Ash said

Scarlett nodded and began walking up the steps. Followed by Jacklyn. They reached the top of the steps and stood there in the entrance. Jacklyn was in awe of the place, it was beautiful, She couldn't stop looking at everything, the windows, the walls, the flowers. She soon drew her focus to Scarlett who was still standing in the doorway. Not doing anything.

"Scarlett? Is everything okay? Are you going to go in, or not?" Jacklyn questioned.

"I am. But it is locked and I am almost one hundred percent sure It wasn't locked when I and Manson left here last." Scarlett replied

Jacklyn looked confused. Scarlett pulled out a key then slowly then quietly placed it into the lock.

"Scarlett, How do you have the key already?" Jacklyn quietly asked.

"Because I'm a hunter remember? I already have the key to this mansion, I always have had the key, I've just hidden it from everyone, Very well. I'm so confused though. Why didn't they change the locks, They changed almost like practically everything else. This isn't piecing up to me." Scarlett softly explained.

Jacklyn nodded and waited for Scarlett to unlock the door. Scarlett slowly removed the key and very carefully opened the door. The Lights were off Nobody around. All quite. Jacklyn and Scarlett slowly made their way into the house. Jacklyn spotted a nearby torch and flicked the switch on so they could see without having to turn the lights on. They made their way into the living room. Everything seemed normal in there, the old furniture and the fireplace, but the fire was lit. They made their way out of the room and checked all the other rooms. Lastly, they went to check the basement. Once where Scarlett had almost been tortured to death. They walked in and Jacklyn let out a screech when she stood on something.

"Oh my god, ew, what was that!" She exclaimed.

Scarlett turned around and shone her phone torch to the ground. There was a body, decomposing, Bones, ripped clothes and greyish blonde hair.

"Oh, my lord. That is actually-" Scarlett said.

"This is weirdly gross but very interesting. Is this Tate's body by chance?" Jacklyn asked.

Scarlett smirked and nodded. Then turned her attention back to the chains and empty needles on the floor where she was not too long ago.

"This is just sick and disgusting, can nobody clean up around here? God knows how long that stuff has been there, but this place could use a good clean if I do say." Scarlett said.

Jacklyn was weirdly still staring at Tate's body. Decomposing. Then carefully ripped a bit of clothing off his trousers and cleaned her boots off. There was a loud bang noise followed by a smash of glass. The light that Jacklyn was holding had gone out. It was just pitch blackness around Scarlett.

"Jacklyn!?" Scarlett firmly asked.
