"Morning everyone" Jane beamed before placing her books on the table along with her thin-framed silver glasses. she checked the time on her Rolex watch and smiled again knowing she was right on time.10:30 am is the time where all her teammates and her decision to keep the trial.

"Morning leader"

"Stop calling me that" Jane giggled pulling out a chair. It made an uncomfortable screech but she couldn't care less. She opened her books wide and put them in her classes. she looked like the hot nerd who gets all the attention even though they were book worms and introverts.

"Who would like to start?" She questioned. Jane was a straight A's student, she was always logical and relatable. She has a great leadership quality envied by many professors itself. She organizes things neatly and keeps a presentable schedule.

"I will" Jessica proudly raised her arms with a wide smile. Jane gave out a small nod and Jessica stood up from her chair gaining everybody's attention. The silver-haired girl arranged her notes and placed them before everybody.

"Do we need an introduction?" She asked.

"No need Jessica, this is just trial.Fine with me if it goes informal"

"The devil's game" Jessica boldly uttered the topic of the debate and impressed everyone with the sudden change of her voice and mood, She looked so sweet but now she was so stern.

"Driven mad by their inner demons, that's what the criminals say but no, It's totally wrong. Their peace and stability hanging on the edge of the string they are pushed by their conscience to practice illegal and brutal actions. If they say it's their devil that sits on their shoulder then that devil must be their brain, whispering their evil thoughts. Lies after lies to cover up the first mistake was from their heart to deceive they are innocent. The grudges of yesterday control their tomorrow. Prostitution, murder, drug usage, theft, bullying all are the same level of crime. The hearts of the guilty always stay guilty."

"Damn girl, I'm jealous" Tiffany gaped and clapped for her best friend.

"How can you say it's not their inner demons?" Jane opposed."It is something from their past that stumbles their moral compass. There is always a reason behind a crime.Their minds are spoiled by the words of others,a pure soul is allured by the darkness due to the other's words. No one is born a monster, the demon they refer are their surroundings and people. This society is toxic enough to build up the real devil. A guilty person has always been painted black by another"

"Goddamnit Jane, seriously I think you are secretly our opposite team's member" Felix teased.

"The devil's advocate at your service" Jane bowed teasingly back. The others laughed showing their pearl teeth. Jessica appreciated Jane for opposing her without any training, what she said was on spot. Jessica couldn't add up words to talk back even when she worked her butts off.Jane was a gifted psychologist and speaker.

"Who's up next?" Jane clapped her hands and looked over for any volunteers.

"Girl, you eat up everyone, who will dare to speak up if you are the devil's advocate?" Lay commented with his legs on the desk and hands on his head, resting peacefully.

"Get your act together Lay" Jane mumbled. Her professors already gave her a bad remark at the presentation. This semester, The discourse will cover up 20 % of the marks. She needs it badly to enter the L.A Academy. Famous and popular psychiatrists are mostly L.A academy graduates. Jane wants to be a remarkable one, to achieve that she needs to enter this academy with at least 96 % cutoff.

"I'll go" Johnny slammed his hands on the desk and shouted.

"Stop shouting like that man" Mark cackled a little uneasily.

"Sorry dude" Johnny hit Mark's shoulder in a playful way and Mark wore the mask of disgust. Mark and Johnny are really thick friends but mark is a little too close to show that.

"Start the show John" Jessica swung her hands on the air cheering Johnny. All six have a thick bond of friendship. They all met in the college but soon became friends, Jane handpicked all her teammates according to their talent and the bond she has with them.

Johnny gave out his point, influencing everyone with his sharp words. They all were hypnotized by his voice and structure. He was valiant and pleasant in the same show, letting them know he had the power to captivate hearts easily. He had the charm to buy everyone's time.

"Man, was that the demon that possessed your body?" Mark was clearly shocked by the precise words Johnny used.

"That was an angel dude" Johnny sat on his chair proudly encircling his hands around mark's shoulder.

"your gay asses are showing" Tiffany mocked them.

"Hugging my homie doesn't mean my ass is gay" Mark shoved his invisible long hair and twisted his chapped thin lips.

"Delusional aunties" Johnny added receiving a high five from his dude.

"Aunty?" Tiffany erupted glaring at the two male friends. The word Johnny used offended her in a mocking manner. She was young and had a clear and polished skin yet the guys had the audacity to call herself an elder woman.

"Knock it off" Jessica calmed her friend down and awkwardly smiled.

Bickerings started again, fighting for silly things the four youngsters threw profanities and mockings at each other. Lay didn't give a shit, he minded his own business with a book covering his face and eyes covering his activeness.

"Kids" lay mumbled under his breath. He removed his book from his face and scanned the situation. Tiffany threatening mark that she will juice his organs and feed them to his dogs, Johnny making weird faces that disgusted everyone, Mark playing tug with the air and cursing, Jessica trying her best to separate them, Jane just staring at them in total confusion.

"Lay off" He howled glaring at them. Suddenly everyone halted and stared at him. Lay's angry glare rested on Jane's eyes in irritation, she was the leader, she should control them, she always does that quickly but today was different. They pulled Lay's last straw making him lose his patience. Jane felt fiddly with Lay's angry glare so she unlocked her phone and stared at it as if she had an important deal.

She looked at her home screen's wallpaper. It was him, the mystery guy. She won't know why but she had the urge to look at him every day.

He always created the firing spark inside her.

The trial went for a while, It went smooth after Lay's shoutings. Everyone bid goodbye and left after wishing everyone all the best for the upcoming disclosure.
