Demons.

The enemies of humanity. They are schemers and cowards who feared the strong and bullied the week. They have been targeting the Cultivation World for quite sometime. They target those humans with potential to threaten them.

In some particular wood 20 Golden Core demons and 50 Foundation Establishment demons could be seen cornering a black haired youth.

"No matter how strong you are, you can only die against the 70 of us."

The the demon smirked at the youth with eyes of a madman. The 69 other demons also smiled and looked at the youth as if he was food.

"True, but what makes you think I am alone?"

The youth asked with a hint of amusement. The demons became alert but calmed down after sensing no one nearby. Just as the leading demon was about to retort he heard a voice that brought a chill down his spine.

"Kill them all."

As soon as his sentence finished, his shadow grew to a large size and out of it came many shadow soldiers. Almost all the shadows were shaped like demons and surrounded the group of demons and started a slaughter. In no time all 70 demons ended up as corpses showing the strength of the shadow soldiers.

The youth, Wang Li, looked at this slaughter and then looked at one particular shadow that looked like human. This was Chen An who tried to attack Wang Li with the intention to kill, not realizing who he was going against till the end.

It has been a year since the semester examination he participated in. Not much had happened during this period. He had become a Peak Late Stage Golden Core Realm 4 months after the semester examination. However Bai Hua Fairy told Wang Li not to breakthrough. In her own words, Wang Li should suppress his cultivation and gain more experience in fighting against groups of demons.

If Wang Li broke through to Rejuvenation Realm then it will be difficult for him to gain this experience since Rejuvenation Realm demons usually don't attack in large groups. Wang Li took her advise and started to purposefully 'fall' for the demons traps only to slaughter them later.

Another member also joined the Omniverse Chat Guild, namely All Might form BANHA, with the Id Symbol of Peace. According to the system, 1 member is added every year automatically.

Another event that happened was Ning Yue Xi being betrayed by her senior brother. During a trial, the two of them got stuck in an ancient ruin that was surrounded by poisonous miasma, unable to escape for months. Since Wang Li still hasn't gained the Shadow Exchange skill he couldn't hear or see through the shadow let alone speak to it telepathically and thus was unaware.

That senior brother had crudely planned a trap, to kill her, to steal the last Antidote pill that was remaining in her Inventory Bag. Fortunately, before he could do anything further the shadow soldier Wang Li placed in her shadow killed him. Wang Li later visited her, only for her to starting crying when the two were alone.

From that day onwards, Ning Yue Xi shut off her heart, fully concentrated on the path of cultivation. She still ended up hating Sword Cultivators, though she was still the same as before around Wang Li. She would sometimes frown when seeing the two swords on Wang Li's waist but got over it.

Wang Li felt both regretful and relieved. Regretful as she still got a grudge against sword cultivators yet relieved that their relationship didn't sour but rather strengthened, especially after she found out the shadow soldier was Wang Li's thaumaturgy.

"I have gained enough experience. I should probably head back and prepare for my next breakthrough."

Wang Li thought while stroking both Earth Sword and Fenlie Qi. He has gotten very close to both Earth Sword and Fenlie Qi. He can already release Shikai with the release incantation being 'Break the Laws'. The special ability of Fenlie Qi is to cut/break any law of the world as long as Wang Li has enough energy supply.

Also, Wang Li's training with Ki has also been going smoothly, providing a huge amount of energy supply. By only comparing energy supplies, Wang Li is equal to a Mid-Stage Rejuvenation Realm.

Wang Li used the teleportation formation and returned to Bai Hua Sect. As he was about to enter Shadow Hall a white goose flew to him and told him of Bai Hua Fairy's summoning. After taking a quick bath, he came to the Bai Hua Palace only to see a boy, the same age as me with her.

"Li."

"Yes Shifu."

"He will be your third junior brother from now on. Take him around for a tour until your first brother will take him to his house."

"Yes Shifu"

Wang Li then took the boy out of the Palace to give a tour of the sect.

"Greetings Second Senior Brother, my name is Qin Xiao Luo"

Qin Xiao Luo looked at Wang Li with interest. He had heard of Bai Hua Fairy's second disciple who was famous. Due to Wang Li's accomplishments in killing all demons who tried to kill him with quantity, he was famously called the Demon Slayer and Army in One-Man. His Shadow Monarch thaumaturgy is just assumed to be summons rather then dead, only Bai Hua Fairy knowing the truth.

"Hello, my name is Wang Li"

Wang Li then closely observed Qin Xiao Luo, who was the second senior brother in the original story. He was famous as a womanizer. Qin Xiao Luo was a genius when it came to cultivation, with the potential to surpass Ning Yue Xi as well. Unfortunately he was extremely lazy and always preferred to be average. But his true talent was in the six arts, an absolute genius among absolute geniuses.

While giving the tour, Wang Li talked with Qin Xiao Luo and the initial distance between them gradually lessened. Just then the white goose came to take Qin Xiao Luo to his home while asking Wang Li to take his place in taking the first test of Bai Hua List. Before leaving, Wang Li placed a shadow clone in Qin Xiao Luo's shadow and left for the test area.

At night.

Wang Li headed towards Qin Xiao Luo's home which was naturally the same as the original, Cherry Blossom Palace. A welcome party for Qin Xiao Luo was held where they drank and grew closer. As a welcome gift I gave him my edited version of Fuinjutsu that can be performed with spirit energy and a few cooking techniques.

After the party, Wang Li went back to the Shadow Hall. He made 250 shadow clones and told them to practice all his skills and six arts. He himself sat down crossed legged and started to meditate for a while before going to sleep.

The next day, he woke up by dawn and undid his clones, organizing all the information before leaving the Shadow Hall. He spent sometime talking with Qin Xiao Luo and informed the white goose before heading to the secluded area nearby for a breakthrough.

Starting from Rejuvenation/Nascent Soul Realm each breakthrough requires surviving tribulation(s). Many people have lost their lives in order to breakthrough recklessly. Although Wang Li had the ability to control lightning he did not want to take the risk. He used 210 points to comprehend 'Bai Hua Rejuvenation Script - A Golden Core Realm Scripture'.

The next second he began the breakthrough. Suddenly, the sky began to dim. The cloud gathered as the wind screamed, focusing in this area. The world instantly became dark.

A flash of blue light descended from the sky and struck the ground at Wang Li, who deflected it. The Heaven's Tribulation slowly began. Streak after streak of lightning fell, striking Wang Li. Wang Li was standing right in the middle of the Lightning Tribulation, scattering away the first bolt of lightning.

The second bolt of lightning fell. Wang Li once again swung his sword and struck the bolt of lightning, scattering it again. The lightning kept on striking, with the amount increasing more and more. Wang Li was still swinging the Earth Sword, scattering all lightning that descended on him.

The lightning continued striking down, but began to weaken overtime. About 10 minutes later, all that's left in the sky was the rain and wind, there was no more thunder or lightning. The Heaven's Tribulation is over.

Wang Li just stood in place, feeling the changes in his body. The FengHuang manifestation inside his Dantian once again underwent a metamorphosis. It began to change its form, slowly turning humanoid. You could basically see that it was taking Wang Li's form. Humans are the treasure of heaven and earth. Spirit energy taking a humanoid shape means that it's able to connect with heaven and earth, fulfilling the triad of Heaven, Earth and Man.

A Rejuvenation realm cultivator can use their miniature spirit form at any time to feel the Laws of the world, taking one step further on the path of understanding the nature of the world, otherwise known as Dao. From now on, the cultivator's life span will increase a thousand years, they can instantly become the elder of any sect, flying becomes second nature, travelling around the world in a single day is no longer just a dream.

Wang Li's miniature spirit form has finally manifested.

Wang Li went back to the Shadow Hall and immediately made 400 shadow clones to practice his skills and techniques while he started practicing his swordsmanship to stabilize his realm. He then checked the Omniverse Chat Guild to see the members chatting as always. He also started to have a conversation with them when suddenly a Guild Mission came.
