Mysterious Orb.

Eric's pupils dilated as the wolf's jaws closed around his legs, it's fangs sinking deep into his flesh but instead of the crunch of bone, he felt himself being dragged away.

"Someone save me!" he screamed at the top of his lungs, hoping against hope for a rescuer, but none came.

The wolf pulled him deeper into the forest, until suddenly, a canyon materialized out of thin air, its existence seemingly tied to their approach.

Eric's surprise was short-lived, as the wolf entered the dark canyon without hesitation.

He felt as if he had crossed a certain mysterious barrier as Eric's vision darkened, only to brighten again and reveal a breathtaking sight:

A towering mountain rose straight into the sky, its slopes shrouded in clouds and mist.

Steep hills and cliffs surrounded them, forming a landscape that seemed almost divine. The air was fresher, filled with the scent of ancient trees, and the atmosphere was alive with an otherworldly energy.

Eric felt as though he had entered a sacred realm, one reserved for immortals and the ancient forest's secrets.

He felt an unusual sensation wash over him. It was as if his body was being enveloped by a warm, pale white light that seeped into his very being. The pain and fatigue from his fall and the wolf's attack began to dissipate, replaced by a gentle, soothing energy.

Eric's eyes widened in amazement as he felt his wounds closing, his muscles mending, and his vitality returning. The wolf, too, seemed to be affected, its eyes gleaming with an otherworldly intensity as it watched Eric with an almost human-like curiosity.

The air around them vibrated with an ancient, mystical power that seemed to be awakening a deep connection within Eric. He felt his consciousness expanding, as if he was being attuned to a hidden frequency that resonated with the very essence of the something mystical.

The sensation was both exhilarating and unsettling, leaving Eric breathless and wondering what was happening to him.

Growl..!

The wolf, now standing by his side, let out a soft growl, as if urging him to embrace this transformation.

Unbeknownst to Eric and the wolf, a mysterious jelly-like orb with a prism inside lay hidden deep within the ground of the canyon, the translucent orb pulses like it's alive and surrounded by an ethereal Air.

The prism remained dormant until Eric's arrival, when it suddenly began to rotate on its own. The drops of blood from Eric's wounds disappeared, flowing through the gaps in the loose soil into the orb and then into the spinning prism.

The prism sought to establish a profound connection with Eric, and it continued to spin with intensity, drawing more blood from his body. Eric's head spun with a severe headache, forcing him to kneel down. His previously healed wounds reopened, and blood flowed from his body into the ground, but this time, it was as if the orb was calling to him, seeking a deeper bond.

The wolf, sensing Eric's distress, jumped away in concern. As the prism absorbed more than a third of Eric's blood, it finally stopped spinning. Then, it redirected its energy towards the remaining blood drops in the forest, creating a network of subtle, glowing threads that connected Eric to the orb.

In the core of the meteorite where a being stays..

A being stirred, gazing in stupor at the events unfolding on her crystal screen.

Through the crystal screen, she saw Eric and the grey wolf vanished into thin air as if they were never there. But She never sensed a breach in the Divine Shroud,

"I refuse to believe this...

In just a century, Earth has changed beyond recognition. My slumber has left me ignorant of these developments, and the Divine Shroud's silence suggests that this disturbance originates from within.

I must investigate personally, even if it means succumbing to the Divine Shroud's slumber once more."

A development that compelled her to investigate personally, even if it meant risking another century-long slumber.
