That's the only thing Natami could say in response to Yuki's innate curse technique, [LIGHT OF DAWN]

It's a technique that allows the user to control light that looks like the light of the sun at dawn. The light produced has an orange colour and is FUCKING hot!

'The sun light at dawn isn't even that intense WTF!' Natami screamed in his mind as he watched Yuki play with her curse technique. He could only imagine the ways in which her technique could develop, after all the ability to control light is on of the most broke abilities ever as the uses are numerous, from camouflage to heavy damage uses like lasers, to illusions...

Watching her use her curse energy to create orbs of light, Natami realized that she had pretty decent control of her curse energy to be able to play with it like that. He attributed it to the curse channels he created in her.

-Say Yuki why don't we head out for a field practice to see what you can do with your technique.

-Yay!

Few moments later they found themselves in front of black coloured curse shape after a manticore but just more hedious. It hadn't noticed them yet as it was busy feasting on the remains of an unfortunate passer by.

Yuki couldn't help it as the moment she saw the scene all strength in her legs left her and bent over and poured out the contents of her breakfast and all of her earlier excitement faded away. The smell of bacon and eggs permeated the air while Natami used his curse energy to open the ground and bury the vomit.

- This is the world we live in Yuki. These creatures are lurking everywhere causing mayhem and death wherever they go and if your not strong enough eventually you'll be the one being feasted upon. It's kill or be killed and even at that they are not are only enemies because there are other humans and curse users you'll have to fight against.

'I'm sorry Yuki but this kind of manipulation is needed'

- the only people you can trust are your true family and friends, people like me.

Yuki looked up to Natami as he spoke. Her face formed a mirage of expressions from fright to doubt and eventually realization and a single line echoed in her head 'people like me' from that day Natami will image in her head will solidified as someone whom she can trust,- No, someone whom she must trust.

Natami knew that he'll do things that are morally grey in the future and because he didn't want to hide anything from her he decided that manipulating her would be the best course of action. That way she would become his eternal ally his darkest sword in darkest night and his brightest shield in brighter days.

He stretched forth his hand and closed it, completely holding the curse in a telekinetic grasp.

"You have to make a choice, the choice to grow stronger or the choice to remain weak."

With shaky legs she stood yet there was a resolve in her eyes she realized that in this world where ability matters if she wanted to stay close to the object of her affection she needed to be strong. And so she lifted her hands her knees bent towards each other and a small chant came out from her mouth [Curse technique Light of Dawn].

A ball of light condensed in front of her hands and she released it sending it flying towards the curse which exploded upon Impact.

Exhausted from the emotional turmoil she fell into Natami's embrace and fell asleep shortly after.

*sigh*

A sigh escaped Natami's lips. He carried her on his back and took her home.

It's been a few days, Yuki is gradually recovering from the incident but her character seems to be changing, as for Natami he realised that although they have strong techniques they don't know how to fight, Natami usually just overwhelms his opponents(curses) with sheer power and that in itself isn't entirely bad but it's not also entirely good, for now at least.

This weakness shouldn't be something that should exist in the first place, he needs to look for a way to get some kind of trainer.

'I mean it's not as if I'm a computer... THAT'S IT! I just need to increase my memory capabilities to be able to Instantly remember anything I see. What did they call that again, photographic memory! But what about Yuki... *sigh* I guess the only thing to do now is to the jujutsu organization. Honestly I would have preferred to remain unknown but I guess it's Inevitable. Now the question boils down to who should we come under...'

Following his not so little monologue Natami decided that the best way to accomplish this goal would be to become a mercenary like Toji as for Yuki the choice is up to her. Hopefully with her enhanced cognitive capabilities for the curse channels she'll be able to do the same thing.
