Chapter 1: The Start of a Tale of Destruction

As I stare into the infinite darkness that is all around me, I think to myself.

'What is the reason for my existence. Why am I staring into this infinite darkness, and how long have I been doing so.'

I feel like I've existed for a very long time, but this is the first time I've actually ever thought of something.

'Perhaps this is my first time ever being conscious,' I thought, as I kept staring into the void.

'This is very boring, isn't it?'

I don't even know how I can feel such an emotion as boredom. I didn't even think I had any emotions. I feel as if there are way more interesting things to do other than to stare into this void. I can't see anything. Not even my own self.

So I try to think of something. I try to think of creating something in this infinite void. The first thing thing that comes to mind is light. Yes, light. I don't even know, how I know what that is, but I feel as if I was born with at least basic knowledge.

So, I try using the power of my imagination to turn this domain that is filled with infinite darkness into a domain that is filled with infinite light.

Suddenly, a flow of light surges forward from my imaginary body as it fills the entire dark domain with a bright white light.

Im surprised by the once pitch black domain turning into a bright white domain as this confirms that I have the power of creation.

Immediately after the domain gains light, I sense something. I sense an orb a few meters away from me that seems to be pitch-black in color. It seems the orb has a black fire burning inside of it. Is that a soul? No, is that my soul?

It seems that after I filled the domain with light, I could now sense everything within the domain like I owned the place, and I guess this is my soul, huh?

Suddenly, a black semi-transparent screen with red outlining appears in front of me. It was the shape of a large cube. I was a little surprised as I didn't know what it was or what it was doing here.

Suddenly, letters started appearing out of nowhere, and a genderless voice started sounding in my head.

('Welcome to the Omnipotent Death God System. The host has reached the requirements of activating said system')

I looked at the screen before me, as I listened to the voice that started speaking inside of my head.

'What's a system?'

I thought as I had a strange feeling that this so-called "system" could read my mind.

('A system is an assistant that is linked to the host soul. The system's main purpose is to help the host get stronger, and to help the host achieve any goals they may have. Some systems are created on the spot specifically for special hosts like you. According to my analysis, I am one of those systems.')

'Hmmm.' I groaned as I tried to muster up another question for the system.

'What are your functions?' I asked the system.

('Here is the list of functions host.')

I stare at my stats for a few seconds before asking my system another question.

'System, what does Infinity+ mean?'

('Infinity+ is a power beyond that of just normal Infinity. Infinity+ is the highest level of power ever recorded in existence. No one has achieved this power until now.')

'So basically, I have infinite power, and I can do anything I want?' I ask the system.

('Yes, host.') Said the system.

'For some reason, I feel as if Im nowhere near that level of power you're saying I have.' I say to the system

('That's because you don't have a physical body yet host, so your full potential is sealed until you make one.')

'Hmmm, come to think of it, I don't even have a name yet, nor do I have a physical body.'

'System I want to name myself, and I want to create my own physical body.'

('Alright host, what would you like your name to be?')

I thought to myself for a few seconds before coming up with a name.

'Zyphos'

('Alright, host. Your name will now be set as Zyphos.')

-[DING]:NAME SUCCESSFULLY SET AS ZYPHOS.-

'Alright, now all I need to do is create a body. System, how do I go about doing that?'

('Host, since you have the power of creation, you can just imagine a physical form forming around your soul')

'Alright, here goes nothing.'

I start to imagine a 6,2 humanoid figure that's wearing demonic armor on its body. The armor is glowing blue and has 2 long demonic horns coming out of the helmet. There's also 2 demonic demon faces on the shoulder plates and 1 long black cape on the back of the armor.

The armor then starts to manifest around my pitch black orb like soul, creating the exact figure I imagined. As soon as the whole figure manifested, I felt an unimaginable amount of power and knowledge rush inside of my body. I fall to my knees and hold my head. It felt as if my soul were going to shatter with the immeasurable amount of pain I was going through. I wanted to scream, but I didn't. I just kept on prevailing.

After an immeasurable amount of time, the pain finally subsided, and I finally absorbed the power and knowledge that rushed inside of my body. I felt as if I had the power of an omnipotent being and the knowledge of an omniscient being.

I now know of the infinite number of worlds, timelines, multiverse's, and reality's out there. I also now know of the infinite number of gods and powerful beings out there.

Now that I know im not the only being in existence, im filled with an unbelievable amount of excitement and hunger for battle for some unknown reason.

'I can't wait to see what lies ahead of me!'
