" Oh, Mr. Zhang, may I know the reason for this call ? I was getting ready to sleep ". " I'm still annoyed by that night's accident, how's your health's conditions ? ", " It's almost stable, but I guess it'll recover in a few weeks. Thanks for your concerns, Mr. Zhang ", " Mn, Goodnight miss Zhao ". He ended the call first without even waiting for a reply.

Xue blinked her eyes, staring at her phone, what a strange guy. His voice sounded quite stiff, as if it was forced.

A small furry thing was curled up on her blanket. A violet ribbon was tied on the kitten's collar. " Oh my gosh, a kitten !!! Where did it come from ? ". She carefully picked up the milky furred feline, petting it. Its fur was so soft and warm, she had the urge to burrow her nose in that softness. But she had to hold back, those actions may scare that small thing. She lifted it, giving it a good look. It had a bright pair of light blue eyes, while the fur was completely white. Considering the size, it should be at least 3 months old. " Where did it come from ? ", she stood up while paying attention to the small creature who was nestled in her arms. The kitten was biting her sleepwear, keeping the cloth still with its small paws. Xue tilted her head, was it hungry ?

She walked down, after putting a shawl on her shoulders, " Morning miss, have you slept well ? ", the butler greeted her warmly, " Oh, a cat, where did it come from ? ". " Morning, I just found it in my room. Isn't it from Mrs. Yu ? ", he shook his head, " No, she left early this morning and still hasn't come back ". " I think we should do a check up on it, to prevent any accidents. Your health is still unstable, those animals can carry some unpleasant surprises with them ". The butler stated, fixing his glasses, looking at the small bundle on Xue's arms. " Would it be alright ? ", she was worried about the pet. Her eyes were literally sparkling adoration, though the butler while smiling.
