A fairy glutton

Xue yawned, and glanced up, only to see a sitting figure sleeping. " Ha, ha, he probably didn't rest early yesterday night, he was still handling some paperwork ", the aide scratched his head. This was surely a new thing, he knew that he had difficulties sleeping, and now ?. Even if he wanted to save his face in front of his wife, he could only blurt out those words. But inwardly he was banging his head against a wall. How on earth did he pass out in the middle of the discussion of his own honeymoon ??? Wasn't this his own business ?. He stealthy looked at the madam, he just hoped that she didn't get a bad impression from this behavior. 

" Let's move somewhere else, at least we won't disturb him ", Xue whispered as she stood up and called a maid over, " Please bring me a blanket ". The latter was left stunned by her appearance and nodded and ran away. " Ah ? Did I scare her … ? ", she was a bit bitter. Afterall not everyone was the same, not everyone was so willing to accept the difference. She shook her head, what was she expecting ?.  As her mood dropped, the maid was back, holding a cream colored plaid, " Madam, here's it ", she stretched her arms out, holding it, with her head lowered down. " Thank you ", she picked it up and draped it on the sleeping figure on the sofa. The trio quietly left the room to keep going with organizations. 

After they were gone, the servants closed the doors softly, afraid to wake up their master. The maid from before was still a bit flushed, " Uuuhh, I was staring at her like a stupid, I'm sure she thought that I was impolite… ", " Well if you stare like this at the people, it's surely impolite " , " I just hope madam isn't angry…. ", " Did she look angry at you ? ". The other servant was left speechless, clearly madam had a good temper, why was her colleague fussing over so much ? 

The time flew by, as it was already dinner time, after they were done with the main points of the trip, Xue hurried back to her bedroom, a small thing was left here. She played with Luette, that white furball. She loved to run her finger in its soft fur, it was so relaxing. She observed those lil movements of its small head and those little paws. It was really too cute, too adorable. If she had a heart attack, it must be from an overload of kittness. She snuggled her nose on that pinky one, soft meowing echoed in the room. Outside a few maids were standing, since the door was left open, they were greeted by this scene. " Madam is so beautiful, too beautiful… ", " Look at them, they're literally straight out of a fairytale, a princess who's playing with a pet ". The butler who was coming to call Xue over for dinner, slowed his tracks as he saw the group in front of the room. He craned his neck, and he saw it too. He coughed lightly, it was enough to let the servant regain their focus and announce his presence, " The dinner is ready, Madam ". Xue stood up, still holding the cat, " Thank you, I'm coming ", she put on her slippers and walked out. 

Cheng Feng was already here, and as soon as he saw her, an apologetic smile spread on his face, " I'm sorry for this afternoon, I didn't mean to sleep during the discussion ", " Oh, assistant Lu told me that you had a lot of paperwork yesterday. It's okay, I understand ". He nodded, at least she wasn't angry. " Let's dine ", all the servants retreated and they were left alone. Xue picked up her chopstick as she checked the dishes, they were just three plates, two veggies and one meaty. Of course her first pick was the glossy piece of meat, covered with a layer of sauce. He glanced at, his lips slightly curved up, ' seems like I'll have the chef to change the menù'. He was already planning to switch the current ratio of dishes. While he was thinking this, Xue almost cleared out half of the plate and suddenly stopped, as if she realized something. Her chopstick stopped and changed their direction to the other two green plates and her eating speed dropped dramatically. ' What I am doing, I'm literally pigging out ', Xue thought inwardly. As she took another bite, a piece of meat was placed on her plate, " If you like it, just eat more. If it's not enough, the chef will cook more ". She raised her head, her cheeks reddened, " Okay, sure…. ". The atmosphere between the two was still awkward, but it somehow lessened.

The next morning an energetic assistant Lu was waving a thick stack of papers, happily, " Madam, master, I've finished all the preparation for the trip, would you like to check it ? ". His tone was a bit playful, though he tried to not smile. " No need, I just need the date of the departure ", a cold voice made him straighten his back. Xue was curious, so she took the paper to give a look. Seeing her interest in the program, Cheng Feng stopped and stood behind her, glancing at the documents too. 

The final location was decided to be on a warm island, it was a small one, so it wouldn't be crowded, and also it had quite a few local attractions. The hotel had a nice rating too, so the trip should be a relaxing one. 

On the other hand, " Prepare your luggages, I'll send you to this island in a few days. Let them ' enjoy ' their honeymoon ", purplish lips smiled wildly, " Sure madam Zhang ". Of course the duo was that twin and stepmother pair. The latter gained the information about the location from a few spies, now they were starting to be useful. " Let's see if you're just like any man on earth, lustful and blind, Cheng Feng ", she laughed as she played with her necklace. She sent quite a few items to Fei Li in order to carry out her tasks successfully. Now she had only to wait.
