Chapter 76: The Awakening

The result of the fight against the ancient people is complicated to determine. No one wins and no one loses honestly. 

After killing the head of the Aurora Tribe which was Mother Gelu, the Wendigo's leader fled right away for some unknown reasons. It's like they were coming for her only. 

"Here, lay your head on my shoulder". Renni approached Maria from behind. 

Maria was gazing upon the aurora veil, the most remarkable scenery of the tribe. "I'm okay, I wasn't crying". She was lying, her eyes were red and wet as juicy pomegranates.

"It's okay to be not okay". Renni put her hand on Maria's shoulder. "Remember that I will always be beside you if you need someone to talk to".

"Thanks Renni". Maria still looked at the skyful of stars firmly.
