Unity Roars

It is finally the day of the Grava Academy tournament. On the south side of Grava City, Grava Acadamy created a huge stadium with an empty field in the middle. The doors opened twenty minutes ago, and the stands for the tournament have already been flooded with people from all over the world.

At Kage's house, Unknown is standing outside with a new pair of school clothes.

"Can this dude hurry up? We don't have all day. I swear he does this on purpose. What could he possibly be doing that takes that long?"

The garage door of Kage's house opens.

"Finally!"

With music blasting from his speakers, Kage drives out of the garage on his motorcycle. Kage is wearing a white tee with black ripped jeans and a black jean jacket.

"Sorry, dude, I was struggling to pick an outfit!"

"I don't care! Just hurry up and take us to the stadium. Also, turn your music down; the neighbors are probably calling for a noise complaint by now."

"Yeah yeah you're right."

Unknown hops on the back of Kage's motorcycle.

"You realize that we're going to be fighting. Why are you dressed in such nice clothes?"

"Well, I was watching a video yesterday, and it said it's best to fight in style!"

"You were watching that new anime, weren't you?"

"Yep!"

Kage revs his engines and takes off to the Grava Acadamy stadium.

At the same time, on the east side of the city, there's a huge red mansion that goes up to eight floors. This mansion belongs to the Sato family, which is the family of Akira. The inside of the mansion is completely red, with expensive furniture all over the place.

In the mansion, Akira is about to walk out the front door.

"OK, today is the day! For once, I was able to go to sleep on time without staying up all night and watching TV! We have to win back our dagger no matter what, so I will make sure to pull my weight."

Akira puts her hand on the doorknob.

"Wait, maybe I should wait for Emiko."

Akira starts to think back to her encounter with her sister a few days before the tournament at the training ground. Akira aggressively shakes her head.

"Yeah, I should wait for her!"

"Akira!"

Akira looks behind her, and on the balcony, she sees a 6-foot, light-skinned man with long gray hair. He's wearing a red suit with a bunch of rings on his fingers. He has a mustache as well. This man is Chris Sato, the third richest man on the planet, and Akira's father.

"Yes, father?"

"Why are you standing there? The Grava Acadamy tournament is today, isn't it?"

"Yes, it is, but I was just wondering!"

"Yes?"

"Has Emiko left the house yet?"

Chris looks at Akira with a stern expression.

"And who is that? If you're referring to that leech she left an hour ago."

"Oh, I should've known she's always leaving early to avoid me. I guess I'll be on my way then, Bye."

"Akira!"

Akira looks back at her father.

"I will be there in the stands watching, so make sure you make the Sato family proud."

Akira bites her lip in anger.

"Yes sir!"

Akira leaves the house for the tournament.

At the Grava Academy stadium, Kage and Unknown are on the motorcycle behind a long line of cars.

"I told you this would happen Kage! We are going to be stuck here all day! We need to get into that stadium right now!"

"I know dumbass! Now sit your ass down!"

Kage sees a sign that says, "Participants turn to the left."

"Oh, we're supposed to turn that way?"

"Duh! Come on, turn!"

"Tch, I'm going damn it!"

Kage takes a turn in the direction the sign is pointing. They eventually reach a special parking lot for the tournament participants. Kage and Unknown walk to a room in the back of the stadium.

When they walk in, they see many students sitting in the room.

"Oh, I guess these are all the people that are going to be fighting in the tournament."

Someone taps Kage on the shoulder.

"Yeah, what's up?"

When he turns around, he sees a 5'5 white-skinned girl with long pink hair that is dyed blue at the hair's tips. Her pupils are in the shape of a purple heart, which matches her pink glasses. She is wearing a pink shirt with a heart drawn on it, and she is wearing a jean skirt with leggings.

The girl waves aggressively at Kage with a smile on her face.

"Hi!"

"Oh, what's up? Um, who are you?"

"Oh, my name is Liz, and I'm the number two of class three!"

"Wait, that means you're in Jason's class!"

"Oh, you know Jason well; then I have a question."

"You do?"

Liz starts blowing kisses at Kage while holding her arms out.

"Would you please be my everything!"

"Huh? Hell no!"

The hearts in Liz's eyes turn into broken hearts, and tears start to come from her eyes.

"How could you!"

"What is it now?"

From behind Liz is a 5'9 white-skinned boy with long, light blue hair that covers his eyes. He is wearing a blue shirt with a drawing of a controller on it and long jeans. The boy takes his hand and chops her on the head.

"You're letting your powers go rampant again, Liz."

Liz grabs her head and says, "Ouch, Dexter, that hurt!"

"Well, you need to stop acting wild, or you'll never find love like in all those movies you watch."

"Awww! I guess you're right, but..."

The broken hearts in Liz's eyes come back together, and she starts smiling.

"I will try again!"

Dexter grabs Liz by the shirt and starts dragging her away.

"Hey, let me go Dexter! Trying again in romance movies usually works!"

"Sorry about her; we will see you in the tournament."

Unknown and Kage look at the two of them walking away.

"Wow, Kage I didn't know you had the power to do that.

Kage punches Unknown in the shoulder.

Wayne walks into the room.

"What's up Wayne?"

"Hi, Kage and Unknown, are you two ready for the tournament?"

"Yeah, and I'm going to win it!"

As Kage talks to Wayne, Unknown looks behind Wayne and sees something.

"Wait, is that?"

Wayne here's Unknown and smiles.

"Yep, you're right!"

"Arcta!"

From behind Wayne Arcta, the beast who used to be the assistant of Kirata waddles to the front.

"Kakaka!"

Kage and Unknown see Arcta and jump in excitement. Unknown shakes Arcta's flipper while Kage shakes his other flipper.

"We haven't seen you in forever, Arcta!"

Kage lets go of Arcta's flipper and crosses his arms.

"Yeah, you're right Unknown; we haven't seen him in a while. What have you been up to,Arcta?"

"Kakaka!"

Wayne translates from Arcta to Kage and Unknown.

"Arcta has been taking care of the Moro zone in place of my father."

"Kaka!"

"I invited Arcta here because I think he deserves a break from all the responsibility. He will be watching from the teacher stands, so it should be a fun time for him. This is his first time outside of the Moro zone, so I asked Mr.Mink to watch him for me."

Unknown smiles cheerfully after hearing Wayne speak.

"Well, that's great. I hope you have a fun time, Arcta!"

"Kaka!"

Kage starts to scratch his head.

"Wait, we can invite people?"

"Duh Kage, why wouldn't we be able to?"

"Shut up, Unknown! I just realized we could have invited Tota here."

"Lucky for you, I thought ahead."

"Ahhh!"

As they yell, Kage and Unknown turn around and see Mr. Mink, who has Selena, Akira, Tota, and Paul standing right behind him.

"Tota!"

"Hey guys, I know it's been a while!"

Kage runs to Tota and punches him in the arm.

"What's up, dude? What are you doing here?"

"Well, I was doing some research work in Frinstion City, but when Mr.Mink called me and told me of this tournament, I had to come!"

In the time Tota has spent by himself, he has made great leaps as a journalist. After giving the ghost knight armor from the sea cave to a museum, his popularity instantly skyrocketed. After that, he continued his journalism journey and now travels around, making many discoveries.

Unknown gives Tota a powerful high-five.

"I heard a lot about you, Tota, ever since we last spoke. You made six discoveries in just a month. You're really making a name for yourself."

Tota nervously scratches the back of his head and chuckles.

"Thanks you guys! I didn't expect to become this big this quick, but I did!"

Kage smacks Tota in the back.

"Stop being nervous dude. There's no need to be modest. You earned the praise. Be cocky!"

"Hehe"

Tota starts to blush as he gets praised.

Mr.Mink cuts into the three of their conversation.

"Tota will be sitting with me and Arcta in the teacher's stand. Now the reason why I gathered you all here is because I want to talk to you all as a class."

All of class one looks at Mr.Mink with a focused expression.

"You all are class one of Grava Acadamy, which makes you the prime target for every other class. All these students aren't just here for the dagger; they are also here to take you down. Also, don't forget the chances of you all having to fight each other. Soon, the announcer will call all the fighters by class. They want to let the audience know how each class did in the survival tournament. So remember what I said and take it to heart."

Kage smirks after Mr.Mink finishes his speech.

"Come on now, Mr.Mink! We're class one; we won't lose to these bums!"

"But didn't you almost get knocked out of the survival round by Jason?"

"Shut up, Unknown!"

Kage puts his fist out for a fist ump.

Everyone looks at Kage with a confident smile. All of them put their right fist in the middle. Mr.Mink turns over to Paul.

Selena says, "Let's all do our best," with a smile on her face.

Akira says "yeah" while thinking about Emiko. 

"Come on now, Paul, you're the number one of this class; you have to join in with us!"

Paul looks up with a stern expression.

"I was just prepping myself mentally."

Paul walks over to the group and puts his fist in the middle as well.

"We will win back our dagger no matter what. We can't lose because we are class one. Now Roar, class one!"

After hearing Paul's statement, all of them raise their fists to the sky and yell, "Yeah!"
