Tota's past part one

Class one's training for the eventual battle with the Frinstion gang has begun, but under the Frinstion gang mansion, there is a dirty prison cell with nothing but a torn-up mattress in it. This cell is occupied by Tota, who is badly beaten everywhere. Tears continuously run down Tota's face.

"I'm sorry, Kage. I should have left you all alone, but I just wanted to be free, and now another person is dead because of me."

Nubuki walks into the basement of the mansion, which is where Tota is being held in his jail cell."

"Hello, Tota, are you finally done crying?"

Nubuki instantly sees that Tota is still crying.

"Tota, what was the thing I told you all those years ago when you tried to escape?"

"You told me...that the world is run by the strong, so weaklings like me and my family have no choice but to bow to people like you."

"I see you never forgot those words."

"How could I forget? You constantly remind me of those words every time I'm forced to do your jobs."

Tota continues to cry in the face of Nubuki.

"You have been my slave for the past ten years, Tota. You should know by now that you'll never be free, so I suggest that you quit crying and do what you're told."

Nubuki leaves the room, but before he walks out, he runs into three of his goons who just entered the room.

"What are you three planning to do now?"

"Oh, hello boss, me and the boys were just going to go give Tota a visit since he's in confinement right now."

"Make sure you don't break him. I want to get him back into the field before we have to deal with those travelers."

"Yes, boss!"

Nubuki leaves the basement, leaving Tota alone with the three goons. The goons walk up to Tota's jail cell and open it.

"Hey Tota I think it's play time!"

Tota wipes his tears.

"Leave me alone!"

One of the goons runs up to Tota and kicks him in the face.

"Is that any way to talk to your superiors, you damn slave!"

"Yeah, you stupid bitch!"

"I don't even know why the boss keeps you around; all the other slaves are much more useful than a weak bitch like you! Just drop dead already!"

Tota attempts to get up after getting kicked in the face.

"Sit the fuck down!"

Another one of the goons punches Tota in the back, causing him to fall back to the ground.

"Wow, look at him! That's the first time he's tried to get back up after a kick!"

"Yeah, I think that little taste of freedom made him forget his place!"

"Haha, let's remind him!"

"Ahh!"

The goons surround Tota and start stomping him out while laughing. They continue to do this until Tota is left in a worse state than he was before. This beating lasted for six minutes.

"Tch, I'm bored now; he stopped screaming."

"Yeah, you're right, let's go!"

The goons leave the jail cell, but before they lock it, one of the goons spits on Tota's face.

"Haha, good one, bro!"

"Yeah, let's just go already!"

The goons leave the room after locking the jail cell. Tota crawls his way to the bed in the jail cell.

"What did I do to deserve this? Is my birth really the cause of this, damn it?"

Tota lays down on the bed and looks at the ceiling. Tota starts to hear the words Nubuki told him the day he became a slave.

"You're in this situation because you were born weak, and those unfortunate enough to be born weak will always be trampled over by the strong."

Tota, remembering those words, starts to play out the events that led him to this moment in his head.

Twenty-four years ago and three months before Tota was born, a man and a lady who would soon be the parents of Tota went to a nice restaurant in Frinstion City. The well-groomed white-skinned man was named Orion, and he was wearing a nice black tuxedo. The white-skinned woman with long brown hair was named Sarah, and she was wearing a pink dress with some expensive high heels. The two of them have been together since their teenage years and are on a date to celebrate their incoming child. Both of them have finished their food and are having a conversation about their future together.

"So, Orion, it will be that time soon."

"Yeah, you'll be a mother soon."

"Hehe, yeah, and you'll be a father."

"Yeah, to be honest, I'm kind of nervous. Will I be a food father?"

Sarah puts her right hand on Orion's right hand.

"Honey, you'll be a great father, plus we will be doing this together."

Sarah puts her hand on her stomach.

"Our little Tota will be just as strong as you, Orion."

As the two of them have a lovely conversation, they both hear dark, ominous music coming from outside the restaurant. Everyone in the restaurant looks toward the restaurant door. Seconds later, the door burst, and five Frinstion gang members walked in with a speaker blasting at full volume.

"Frinstion gang shit!"

The goons start running around the restaurant, thrashing the place until the last person walks through the door. This person happens to be a younger Nubuki; he has less muscle definition at this point in time. All the goons gather behind Nubuki and start chanting his name.

"Nubuki! Nubuki! Nubuki!'

As the speakers blast music about murder, the gang members start walking through the restaurant to get to a seat they want. As this goes on, Orion and Sarah start up a new conversation.

"Of course, the Frinstion gang is here. Ever since they took over the city, everything has been shit."

"Hey Sarah, keep it down; they might hear you."

"I know, but what I'm saying is true."

"Well, there's nothing we can do about it. We're level zeros, remember? If we try anything, we will die without a doubt."

"Tch, I wish we could do something."

As those words leave her mouth, Sararh accidentally knocks over her cup of water. The cup of water spills onto the person walking past their table.

"Oh, I'm sorry, let me get you a paper towel!"

Sarah looks up and notices that the person she spilled water on is Nubuki, who was passing by.

"Oh no"

The five goons instantly ran to Nubuki's side.

"Hey, bitch, you spilled water all over the boss's pants!"

"Yeah, are you planning to clean that, you bitch?"

"Please forgive me; I didn't mean to spill it!"

"Yes, me and my wife apologize!"

"Wait, boys, this bitch is pregnant."

"Haha, you know she's kind of pretty; you think we should take her back to the base?"

Sarah, hearing this disgusting conversation, becomes angry.

"You're not going to take me anywhere!"

"Sarah, calm down; we don't want to upset th—."

As Orion tries to de-escalate the situation, one of the goons punches Sarah in the face, causing her to fall to the ground.

"Ha, stupid bitch, who do you think you're talking to?"

Orion, seeing his wife get punched in the face and seeing the smile on the goon's face, becomes enraged. Without even thinking, Orion jumps over the table and punches the goon as hard as he can. His punch leaves a slight bruise on the goon's face.

"Ow, what the fuck asshole!"

"Don't you dare put your hands on my wife! If you want a fight, fight me!"

All the goons start laughing at Orion's act of chivalry.

"Haha, "Don't touch my wife!" You're talking to the Frinstion gang bitch! Boss, please let me beat his ass! Oh, and let me beat up the bitch too!"

Nubuki, hearing his goon's request, looks Orions in the eye with his bright red eyes.

"Take them outside."

"Haha, yes, sir boss!"

The goons drag Orion and Sarah outside. They throw both of them onto the grassy field. Orion gets up and puts up his fist.

"Wait, Orion, you don't have to fight them!"

"Yes, I do, Sarah. To protect you and our future child, I must!"

The goon Orion punched in the face activates level one. Both men are ready to fight, but Nubuki has one last thing to say.

"Deactivate level one; I want him to be alive when this fight is over!"

"Oh, alright, boss."

The goon turns off level one and gets into a fighting stance.

"You ready to get your ass kicked, bitch?"

The goon rushes at Orion and swings his left fist at him but gets dodged. Orion then hits the goon with two punches to the jaw.

"Damn, how did a weak level zero do that?"

The goon attempts to kick Orion but gets dodged and receives two more punches to the jaw.

"Damn it!"

"I see you don't have any true fighting skills without that OGI you people like to use!"

Orion rushes at the goon and punches him four times in the face. While the goon is dazed from the previous attack, Orion goes in for another punch but doesn't realize he's in trouble.

"Orion behind you!"

Another goon comes behind Orion and slams his fist into the back of his head.

"You thought you were going to win!"

Orion falls to the ground. While on the ground, he sees in the corner of his eye that two goons are approaching Sarah.

"Please leave us alone! I'm sorry for spilling the water!"

"Fucking dumbass bitch! It was never about the water in the first place!"

One of the goons punches Sarah in the face, while the other punches her in the back. The goons start beating Sarah brutally, but she is putting all her power into protecting her unborn child. Orion sees this and gets off the ground.

"Sarah!"

Orion attempts to run to Sarah's side but gets punched by a goon, which sends him back to the ground.

"You really think I'm going to let you get away with punching me that many times, you damn gorilla?

"You challenge me to a fight, but then start playing dirty the second you start losing. Do you have any ho—"

Orion gets kicked in the mouth before he can finish his sentence.

"What the hell were you about to say? I can't hear you over the cries of your wife!"

Three goons gather around Orion and start kicking him while he's down. They stomp maliciously on his face and stomach and even kick him in the crotch multiple times. They continue to beat the both of them till they hear Nubuki finally speak.

"That's enough."

All the goons stomp their movements the second Nubuki speaks.

"Sit the man up so I can see his face."

Two of the goons grab Orion and put him on his knees in front of Nubuki. Breathing heavily, Orion looks up to see Nubuki.

"What's your name?"

Orion stayed silent after hearing Nubuki's question, which didn't sit well with one of the goons.

"..."

"Hey, you better answer his damn question before you get another best down!"

"My name is Orion."

"Hmm, Orion."

"What do you want from me?"

"You have a strong soul, so you will become my slave and do whatever I say till you die."

"And why the hell would I do that?"

Nubuki looks into Orion's disheartened eyes.

"Alright, boys, kill his wife."

The second he heard those words, Orion reacted instantly.

"Wait! Leave her out of this!"

"I will, once you agree to my terms."

With every memory of Sarah running through his mind, Orion looked down at the ground.

"Orion, don't do it!"

"Shut the fuck up!"

Sarah gets kicked in the mouth, which snaps Orion out of it. Orion puts his head on the ground to make it look like he's bowing.

"Ok, I'll become your slave, but promise me you won't touch my wife or child."

"Of course, I always keep my promises."
