The curse of love

After Mr.Zane starts the match Liz suddenly gets blown away by something.

"Using that power already?"

"Of course! King Blaze always starts the song!"

Blaze starts to strum his guitar with great speed.

"Let's see if you can hold your weight as the feature Liz!"

As Blaze strums his guitar the sound of it continuously gets louder.

"Let's turn this shit into a mosh pit!"

When he strums his guitar a large shockwave sends Liz flying back once again. While holding her ears, Liz lands on the ground and uses the accelerate technique to start running out of Blaze's eyesight.

"I know what you're trying to do, Liz. Now it's time to feel electricity flow through your body!"

When Liz gets behind Blaze, she takes a step, and suddenly she flies into the air from a shockwave.

"This might be har—"

Suddenly, Liz's face gets blown back by another shockwave.

"Did you forget what my power is Liz? I can use any sound as a weapon! I told you you would be electrified!"

Blaze turns around.

"Oh yeah! This is going to be a number-one hit!"

As Blaze speaks Liz gets hit by more shockwaves while she's midair.

"Even voices can be used as a weapon!"

Liz smacks into the ground after taking massive damage.

"Yeah!"

When Blaze yells, everyone in the crowd covers their ears in pain.

"Oh, sorry, I forgot. That is very painful for y'all's ears. I would never purposely hurt my fans."

Liz stands up as Blaze gloats.

"Hey Blaze I have an important question for you. Will you be my eve—"

Midway through Liz's sentence, sound stops coming from her mouth. Liz notices and grabs her mouth in shock. Blaze strums his guitar and sends Lix flying backward. 

In the student stands, Dexter is showing a lot of emotion.

"This is some bullshit! Since when can he do that? Come on, Liz, you gotta clutch up or he'll win!"

Everyone looks at Dexter awkwardly.

"What!"

Everyone looks away awkwardly.

"Wait Blaze's power is sound manipulation, which allows him to manipulate sound any way he chooses, but the most I've seen him do with it is turn sound into huge shockwaves or just change the frequency of different sounds to damage ears. Never once have I seen him use it in this way. Come on, Liz, you got this!"

On the battlefield, Liz has started to think to herself.

"Ok, that's new; he can remove sound completely. This might be a problem because without asking him the question, I can't activate my ability!"

Blaze spins his guitar in the air.

"Oh, look at that! I left you speechless with my guitar play! Now let's make the chorus!"

Blaze strums his guitar and sends a huge shockwave at Liz. He continues to strum his guitar at a fast rate.

"Let's fucking rock!"

As Liz constantly gets hit by shockwaves, blood starts to leak from her ears and nose. Blaze stops strumming his guitar, and Liz falls flat on the ground.

"Damn, the all-great King Blaze really did a number on you! Maybe you should quit, Liz. I wouldn't want to hurt my classmate any further!"

Liz attempts to get up but starts throwing up blood. As she shakes from the pain, she starts to think to herself.

"I need to find a way to pop the question, or I might actually lose this match. Of course, he had to mute my voice."

Liz looks down at her blood on the ground. She puts her back to Blaze and starts doing something on the ground. Blaze, seeing this, starts walking toward her.

"Hey, why are you turning your back to me? That's not electrifying."

Blaze stops walking when he remembers Wayne's fight in the first round.

"Oh, I see what you're doing! You're trying to act like you're down when you're really not, just like Wayne from class one! Well, I'm not falling for it!"

Liz suddenly jumps at Blaze.

"I guess not!"

Blaze puts up his guitar as a defense, but Liz lands on the guitar and jumps over his head. She then uses both of her feet to push Blaze forward.

"Woah! 

Blaze falls to the ground, and when he looks at the ground, he sees "Will you be my everything?" written in blood.

"Shit!"

Blaze looks behind him and sees Liz's heart-shaped pupils glowing bright pink. Liz starts to mouth something to Blaze.

"So you really are looking for that answer. Well, sorry, Liz, but you just ain't my type."

When Liz hears Blaze's answer, her pupils go from healthy hearts to broken hearts. Tears start to slide down her face.

"Here we go!"

Blaze uses his powers to unmute Liz.

"How could you?"

A massive amount of OGI starts to exude from Liz's body. This is Liz's power, "heartbreak." This power can only be activated once she asks the opposite gender the question, "Will you be my everything?" Once the question is asked, the opponent is forced to answer no matter what, and what happens next will depend on the answer from the person she asked.

"I give you my everything and you deny me!"

"Well, this will be electrifying, but not in a good way."

A giant, gray, broken heart appears behind Liz. Liz grabs the heart and swings it at Blaze. Blaze jumps out of the way, but Liz spins and smacks him with the heart. Blaze lands on both of his feet.

"Damn it, I wanted to have an easy fight, but it looks like we're going to have to rock harder!"

Blaze screams at the top of his lungs, "Yeah!"

His screams release a huge shockwave from his mouth. Liz jumps out of the way of the shockwave and throws the broken heart at Blaze. Blaze gets caught in the heart, and when it explodes, Blaze falls to his knees with sweat running down his face.

"How could you?"

"Ha, that one really sent the electricity through me!"

Blaze stands up with his guitar in hand. Liz's hands turn into broken hearts.

"I'll make sure you feel my pain!"

Liz gets up close to Blaze and starts throwing punches at him.

"I will never forgive you!"

As Blaze fends off her attacks, Liz starts to remember a painful memory from her past. Three years ago, Liz was just a regular girl who went to grade school and loved romance movies. She was the most popular girl in SeaStone Acadamy, which is located in the Snachro Zone. She achieved level two at a young age, but her power, "heartbreak," was an uncontrollable power but no one at the time could recognize its danger. The power made her extremely flirtatious every time she got around boys, which is actually how she got her boyfriend, Klay.

One day after a long day of school, Liz and Klay were walking home together. Liz stops in front of a dock when the sun is setting.

"You know, Klay, we should watch "Love is Dangerous" when we get to my house."

"Umm, no, not today, Liz. We've watched that movie a million times, and I'm not exaggerating."

"Oh well, if not that, then maybe "love can be dreamy!"

"No"

"I fell in love with a stripper?"

"No"

"Love City"

"No"

"Ok may—"

"No, Liz, I don't want to watch any romance movies. I hate romance movies!"

"But I thought you loved romance movies."

"I never liked romance movies, but after watching so many with you, I hate them."

"Oh well, if you don't want to do that anymore, we can just —"

"Hey Liz, we need to talk right now!"

"Oh, what is Klay, and why do you seem so upset?"

"Uhh, I guess it's finally time to break my silence."

"Break silence on what?"

"I don't think this is going to work."

When those words leave Klay's mouth, Liz's eyes start to water.

"What are you talking about, Klay?"

"I think we should break up for the sake of both of us."

"What! We've been together for three years!"

"Well, these three years have been hell! When you first asked me out, I thought it would be an amazing time, but at the time, I didn't know having powers would be such a pain. Everywhere we go, you're always letting your powers go out of control. Asking out every guy you see, and I'm through with it! For years, I've had to deal with bullying from other guys saying I'm dating a thot, and I've defended you every time. Not to mention your personality! I've never seen someone base their entire relationship on romance movies until I met you, and I hate it! You have issues, Liz, and I can't be together with someone like you any longer!"

Liz's heart-shaped pupils start to break slowly.

"Oh, ok, so it's really over?"

"Yes, it is, and the last reason why it's over is because I've recently found someone else I would like to be together with."

When Liz hears this, her heart-shaped pupils turn into broken hearts.

"What? How could you? I hate you! I will never forgive you!"

"Wait, your powers activated. I thought they could only activate once you asked the special question."

With tears pouring from her eyes, Liz screams at the top of her lungs. 

"Ahhhhh!"

After this, Liz blacked out and woke up an hour later. When she woke up, she had anti-OGI handcuffs on and was on the side of the street.

"Wait, what happened?"

A police officer is standing in front of Liz.

"Oh, you're finally awake."

"Wait, a police officer? What's going on?"

"Well, from witness reports, you threw a boat at that boy's head."

"What?"

Liz looked to where the police officer pointed and saw Klay with his head completely crushed by a boat. 

"Klay?"

Liz was so shocked by what she did that she passed out. After this situation, the doctors learn that Liz's powers are completely influenced by her emotions. The reason her powers activated when Klay broke up with her is because Klay answered her question three years ago, and when he broke up with her, it was a worse version of when she usually told no by other guys. This is the time when everyone learned that Liz's powers were a danger. 

She wasn't thrown into prison for murder because, by law, if something unexpected happens with an OGI user's level-two powers and it could be a danger, they must be sent somewhere to fix their problem. Liz was sent to Grava Acadamy three years later, thanks to that law, but the situation with Klay affected her powers forever. She can't control her flirtatious behavior, and when she is denied, her anger matches the anger she had with Klay when he broke up with her. So to learn to control her power, she's been trying to meet as many boys as possible in an attempt to learn how to control it.

After remembering this bad memory, Liz returns her mind to the battle at hand.

"Why does this power force me to remember that day every time I use it? This isn't a romance movie; this is a horror movie!"

Liz runs at Blaze with tears pouring out of her eyes.

"How could you!"

Liz tries to punch Blaze again, but all of a sudden she gets bounced back.

"Dang Liz! I feel the passion you put into your craft, but I won't let a feature overtake me!"

Liz looks at Blaze and notices something around him.

"All of class three knows my biggest weakness is defense, so I wanted to surprise you all in the final round. Those broken hearts of yours don't do damage, but they lower my physical abilities, which isn't fun at all! So I guess I have to show this off early! Sound barrier! A barrier that uses concentrated sound as a defense. Now time to shred this shit!"

Blaze starts shredding his guitar, which causes massive shockwaves to suddenly hit Liz. With every strum of his guitar, the shockwaves become louder and stronger, recking Liz's body more and more. 

"Ahh!"

As this is happening, Dexter is at the edge of his seat.

"Come on, Liz, fight ba—!"

Dexter's face freezes up thanks to the low ping.

On the battlefield, Liz has taken so much damage from the sound that she has blood spilling at an alarming rate from her wounds.

"Yeah! This is a performance of a lifetime! Oh wait, I should probably stop now."

Blaze stops strumming his guitar, and with significant damage all over her body, Liz falls face-flat on the ground.

"And that's it, folks, the winner of the first match of the day is Blaze!"

"Yeah! King Blaze with another number-one hit!"
