Rematch against the tough opponent part two

As Kage continues his battle with Nubuki, in the intelligence room, Akira wakes up after falling unconscious.

"Ouch, my head feels like it's being stabbed by needles."

Akira looks to the sky and once again sees that the barrier is down.

"Haha, I bet Selena will be proud of me now. She said I could do it, and I did it."

"Akira, are you here!"

Akira gets up and looks behind her. When she looks behind her, she sees Selena walking into the intelligence room.

"Selena!"

Akira rushes towards Selena with a happy look on her face. Seeing Akira's happy face makes Selena relieved.

"Hello Akira I see you were able to successfully beat Spatina."

Akira jumps on Selena, causing both of them to fall to the ground. Akira starts hugging Selena as tight as possible.

"That Spatina guy was so scary! He kept yelling about women this and women that!"

Selena starts to hug Akira as well.

"It's ok, Akira; you did well like I knew you would."

"Thank you so much! Wait a minute, you have a wound on your stomach!"

"Please don't worry about me when you have injuries all over your body."

While Selena and Akira reunite, the battle between Kage and Nubuki continues on the rooftop. After finally getting Nubuki to activate level two, Kage activated his level two as well.

"I don't understand your excitement."

"Of course, you don't, but all that matters is that you're now taking me seriously!"

"You're excited because the battle will be more challenging for you? Don't you think that's idiotic?"

"Aye, don't call me an idiot. I'm just excited because I was able to fulfill my teacher's request! With my energy manipulation and everything Mr.Mink taught me, this battle should be a piece of cake."

"I will admit that you have shown me that you're no longer weak, which earns my respect. So tell me your name again."

Kage smiles and starts exuding a massive amount of OGI.

"The name is Kage!"

In response to Kage showing off his power, Nubuki also starts exuding a massive amount of OGI.

"Good, and my name is Nubuki, leader of the Frinstion gang."

"I know!"

Three balls of energy appear on the bottom of Kage's shoes. Kage bends his knees and screams, "Energy jet!"

Using energy jet, Kage starts flying toward Nubuki. Once in front of him, Kage stops using energy jet and attempts to punch Nubuki. Nubuki dodges his punch and knees him in the stomach. After that, Nubuki uses his palm to push Kage back. Before Kage can hit the ground, an explosion happens behind him, causing him to fly forward. When he flies forward, he is met with a punch to the face that is so strong that it sends him into a flipping motion. After flipping six times, Kage hits the ground.

"Those explosions aren't normal! They're causing me to go flying in the opposite direction of them, and Nubuki is using that to his advantage!"

Kage starts forming balls of energy in his hand. Kage stands up and instantly gets hit with an explosion from the back. The explosion sends him flying forward into another explosion that happens in front of him. This happens another five times until the explosions stop.

Kage falls to the ground with many bruises and burn marks on his body.

"Damn it, he's just spamming that shit like we're in a fucking video game."

Kage looks up and sees Nubuki with his eyes closed.

"The hell is up with him closing your eyes in a battle."

Kage jumps up and instantly starts throwing beams of energy at Nubuki.

"Multi-attack!"

Nubuki opens his eyes and jumps out of the way of the energy beams.

"Those beams of energy are too slow to catch me."

While he's in the air, Nubuki notices Kage flying with energy jet behind him.

"This one gets Unknown all the time!"

The multiple energy beams combine into one huge energy beam and start following Nubuki.

"I call this one the Unknown Destroyer!"

Kage uses energy jet to fly at Nubuki, who is currently in the air.

"You still underestimate me."

An explosion happens right behind Kage, causing him to get thrown, of course.

"Shit!"

Kage gets thrown towards Nubuki by the explosion. When Kage gets close enough, Nubuki grabs him and throws him into the huge energy beam.

"Ahhh!"

Kage falls onto the rooftop with multiple injuries. Nubuki lands back on the ground with a stern expression on his face. Nubuki walks up to Kage.

"I know you aren't down yet, Kage."

Kage gets up and attempts to punch Nubuki, but an explosion sends him flying backward. Kage quickly backs away from Nubuki.

"He's completely destroying me! That power of his feels unbeatable. No matter what I do, those explosions throw me off! Those explosions literally pop out of thin air!"

Kage stands up and points his left fist at Nubuki.

"Energy shotgun!"

A shockwave of energy releases from Kage's fist and goes flying towards Nubuki. At the same time, Kage starts using the sense technique. An explosion happens in front of the energy shotgun, completely stopping it.

"Right there! I was able to see something ignite, but what?"

Kage starts concentrating the sense technique on his eyes and ears.

"I think I know what you're doing now!"

Kage uses the accelerate technique to rush behind Nubuki.

"That power of yours is pretty cool, but it has a flaw!"

Kage jumps out of the way of an explosion before it happens.

"I'm right!"

Kage jumps up and slams his elbow onto Nubuki's neck. Kage dodges another explosion before it happens and blasts him in the stomach with an energy beam.

"You're surprisingly observant."

"Hell yeah, I am! By using the sense technique, I was able to notice your explosions don't just come out of nowhere. I'm not really the smartest, but I can definitely hear and see what you're doing! Every time you look at a certain spot, the oxygen in that area comes together and explodes. I don't understand how that bullshit happens, but at least I can use my sense technique to predict where the explosions will happen!"

"Yes, you're right, but something you don't know is that the longer I focus on a certain spot, the bigger the explosion. So thank you for talking for so long."

"Wh—"

A six-story explosion happens right behind Kage, sending him flying forward directly in front of Nubuki. Nubuki catches Kage by the face with his right hand and starts gripping his head as hard as possible.

"You might have found out how my power works, but that doesn't mean you should be careless. Even if you can sense my explosions coming, that doesn't mean all of them are dodgeable."

Nubuki punches Kage in the stomach, then slams into the ground and stomps on his chest.

"Shit, seeing and hearing his explosions coming takes a lot of focus, and I don't think I have enough OGI control to keep up! I'm running out of OGI too fast!"

Kage jumps out of the way of another explosion and grabs Nubuki's shoulder.

"Energy shot!"

A focused amount of energy shoots from Kage's palm onto Nubuki's shoulder. The attack tears through Nubuki's shoulder, leaving a hole.

"I'm draining his energy, but I'm using more energy than I'm taking in! This is bad! I need to end this fight fast!"

Nubuki removes his coat now that it has a hole in it. When he removes the coat, it reveals his extremely muscular physique.

"That one is definitely a surprise, but you're not strong enough to finish me."

For the first time in the entire battle, Nubuki takes a fighting stance.

"Tch, is that supposed to scare me!"

Kage gets into a fighting stance as well. Kage and Nubuki rush at each other and start trading blow after blow. Kage throws energy beams as Nubuki uses his explosions to defend against all of Kage's attacks.

In the room under Kage and Nubuki's battle, Tota is holding his head once again, stressing about his situation.

"What the hell is going on up there? Is Kage winning? Will I be free? No, I can't think about that right now, especially when Kage is up there fighting for me."

As Tota started breathing heavily, words from Kage started to play in his head.

"It's time for you to stop being a bitch! Stand up against him, Tota, or you will be his slave forever!"

"Everyone keeps telling me all these things I should be doing! Mom told me to be free, and Kage told me to stop being afraid. How do I even do that? Where do I find the courage to stand up against a man like Nubuki?"

Tota starts walking to a staircase that leads to the roof, where Kage and Nubuki are fighting.

"I have to do something or more people around me will die, just like Mom and Arvin."

On the roof, Kage has fallen to his knees after using up an extensive amount of OGI.

"Are you done trying to fight an inevitable battle, Kage?"

"Oh, shut the hell up! Is your entire personality just being powerful, shit?"

Kage gets up with a tired expression on his face. Kage throws a punch at him, but Nubuki catches the punch and slams him on the ground.

"You might be strong, but not strong enough. You don't have enough OGI control to focus your sense technique on your eyes and ears while still having to use a massive amount of OGI to fight me."

Nubuki slams his foot onto Kage's head.

"Ahhh!"

"You lose again, Kage."

Nubuki starts to apply more pressure to Kage's head.

As Nubuki slowly kills Kage, Tota gets to the top of the staircase. Tota instantly sees Kage getting his head stepped on.

"No Kage! He's going to die!"

Tota sits down on the stairs and starts pulling his hair and crying.

"What do I do? Kage is going to die, and it's going to be all my fault!"

Words from Tota's mother once again started playing in his mind.

"Tota, please go and live your dreams!"

"I'm sorry, Mother; I don't think I can."

While Tota contemplates, Kage is focusing all the OGi he has left on using the flex technique on his head.

"You don't give up, do you?"

"Yeah, I don't, and I'm going to make sure I beat your ass!"

Nubuki starts to focus more OGI on the flex technique in his leg in an attempt to break through Kage's flex technique.

"You have already lost gi—"

"Stop!"

Nubuki and Kage look toward where the voice came from. The person who screams is Tota, who is currently shaking and sweating out of nervousness.

"Tota?"

"Let... go...of..my friend!"
