Paul the level-one demon

On a snowy plain, Kage all of a sudden appeared. Kage looks around in confusion and hugs himself after feeling the cold of the area he is in.

"What the fuck! Where the hell am I?"

Kage closes his right eye and sees the status bars Mr.Brown was talking about. Under the status bar, Kage sees "Frost Island, Snachro zone.

"Wait, Frost Island. Is that where I'm at right now?"

Frost Island is an island in the Snachro zone that snows all year round. Aggressive snowstorms happen regularly here, which is why no one lives here because a regular human wouldn't last longer than a week here. Kage looks around and sees nothing but snow.

"Damn it!"

In a swamp-like area with trees all over Unknown appears on a small piece of land. Unknown looks around and sees mud everywhere he looks.

"Damn, it smells terrible!"

This place is called Mud Forest, an area in the Mud Zone. This place is known for its deep, muddy water. Surrounding each tree is mud, and if anyone were to fall into the mud, they would sink fast. But what makes this forest dangerous is that once submerged in the mud, it's almost impossible to swim out, so it's important to stay on the scattered pieces of land and the trees.

In another area, Akira appears on a sandy plain that is currently having a sandstorm. With the sun beaming massive amounts of heat, Akira wiped the sweat off her forehead. Akira touches the sand under her and quickly pulls her hand away because of how hot the sand is.

"It's so hot, and I can't see! Is this supposed to be the survival mode they were talking about? Wait, that means I'm going to be stuck here for three days! No!"

This place is named Sandsnow Valley a location in the Moro zone. This area is similar to Frost Island, but instead of snow, it constantly rains sand. This place is completely separated from the rest of the Moro zone by the tall, rocky hills surrounding the area. There is constantly a cloud of raining sand in this area, and the only way for some sand to be cleared is when a sandstorm happens, and on average, that only happens two times a day. A normal human would be buried in this area within an hour.

In another area within the Grava Zone, Wayne appeared on top of a tall building. Wayne looks around and sees many other tall buildings.

"So this is where I have to survive for three days. Welp time to get to work."

Wayne opens a door on top of the building and starts walking down the stairs.

This area is a city that was made for government use but was abandoned because the government found the city subpar. Grava Academy has the right to use this city for this tournament.

Back at the Grava Academy Auditorium, the staff is watching the huge TV in the middle of the room. The TV has rotating surveillance on each student in each area. Mr.Brown takes a seat next to the rest of the teachers.

"OK, you all will be able to see all your students through this TV. Since there are three hundred students and four areas, we split the kids up evenly. There are seventy-five students in each area."

While Mr.Brown speaks, Mr.Mink starts talking to Mrs.Iris.

"So, Mr. Mink, who do you think will show us something neat?"

"Well, of course, there's the obvious ones, like my class."

Mrs.Iris looks at Mr.Mink with a judgmental expression on her face.

"So you only care about your kids."

"Of course not. You asked me a question, so I answered honestly."

"I mean students who aren't yours, Mr.Mink."

"Well, now that you're being specific, I will answer. I have been going to the battlegrounds a lot lately so I can scope out the other classes. Chika and Filtzes of your class are very impressive."

"Hehe, I know they are my students after all."

"But Mr. Chad's class seems to have a great pool of students with unique powers and just great students in general. Same for Mr.Alex. I could tell when he said he was going to power up class four he was serious, but he has really outdone himself for the youngest here."

"What about classes five and six?"

"Class five isn't the most impressive, but that's probably most likely the teacher's fault."

"Don't let Mrs.Doja hear that, or she'll come attack you like a wild animal."

"Then it's good that we're whispering, isn't it?"

"Tch, you still haven't told me what you think about class six."

"Well, when it comes to them, they definitely have power, but that's mostly because of students like Seth and Amelia. The others aren't that impressive, but what I will say is that Damion has a scary power that should be watched for."

"Lovely deduction, Mr.Mink!"

"Do you have any students you're interested in, Mrs.Iris?"

"Oh, let me think."

While Mrs.Iris is thinking, the door to the auditorium opens. The person at the door is Doctor David, who, as usual, has a cigarette in his mouth.

"I have finally arrived at the tournament that's going to kill me. What the fuck has my life come to?"

David walks over to Nixion.

"Your late Doc."

"I know, old man. I was busy making sure my daughter had everything she needed before I left her for three days. Actually, speaking of being late, What the hell, Mrs.Nova? Why wasn't I invited to the staff meeting about all this level three dagger bullshit? Maybe if I had been there, I could have stopped this waste of time of a tournament from happening."

"Well, David."

"How many times do I have to keep telling you to call me Doc?"

"Well, Doc, if I sent you an invite, you wouldn't have shown up, so sending you an email would have been a big waste of my time."

"I would have come if I knew I would have to push my limits for the next week and a half, healing children!"

"Doc!"

David looks over to Nixion.

"I need you to make sure you're ready at all times because students will start teleporting back here soon."

The second Nixion says those words, a student teleports into the room with many bruises.

"I told you."

David lights his cigarette and activates level two.

"Well, let's get this over with!"

In the city area, Paul is walking in the middle of an empty road that seems to be poorly maintained. While he walks down the road, three men are watching him from the second floor of a building. All of them are light-skinned with muscular builds and are wearing tank tops. One of them has uncombed yellow hair. His name is Josh, and he is number four in class six. Next to him is a guy with short green hair. His name is Dominic, and he's the number five in class six. Behind both of them is a man wearing a durag. His name is Leo, and he is the number six in class six. These three are known in school as the tank-top trio. They do everything together and are pretty much insertable.

Leo walks to the window and crouches.

"Look, it's Paul, the number one student in class one which means he's the strongest student in the school, right?"

Josh puts his hand on Leo's shoulder.

"Nah, bro, he doesn't even look that tough. Plus, we've gotten so much stronger, so we're probably at his level now."

"But bro, I heard that he unlocked level two a long time ago, but he never uses it because, according to him, he doesn't need it. They literally call him the level one demon around the school."

Dominic interjects into Leo and Josh's conversation.

"You two aren't thinking big enough! We were fortunate enough to be thrown into the same area. Which means we have the numbers advantage. All we have to do is overpower him with our numbers, and we win."

Leo thinks about what Dominic says.

"Wait, wouldn't that be cheating?"

"Nope, it wasn't stated in the rules that we can't work together, which means they want us to work together. It's simple math."

Josh laughs and slaps Dominic on the back.

"See, this is what I'm talking about! The tank-top trio will win this competition!"

"You can all fight me at once; it will make this fight more fair."

"!!!"

All three of them loom behind them to see where the voice came from, and they see Paul. Leo, seeing this, instantly starts thinking to himself.

"Wait a minute. I just had my eye on this guy! I took my eyes off of him for a second. Don't tell me he made his way over here that fast!"

Josh, seeing Paul, instantly throws a punch at him. Paul catches the punch with minimal effort.

"What the hell!"

"I told you you could all come at me at once, but you chose to attack me on your own instead of just backing off to regroup with your friends behind you. You're a fool."

Paul lets go of Josh's hand and kicks him in the chin with his right foot. The kick sends him flying through the three floors above him into the sky above the building. Paul then looks at the other two boys.

Leo and Dominic rush at Paul at the same time. Paul kicks both of them out of the building by using their bodies to destroy the wall behind them.

Leo hits the street first, but then sees Dominic flying towards him. Both of them lock eyes and nod their heads.

"Go fuck this guy up!"

Leo puts his legs up and allows Dominic to land on the bottom of his feet. Leo pushes his legs up to launch Domnic at Paul, who is standing at the hole in the building.

"I'm coming for you, number one!"

Dominic lands on the second floor, and before he can do anything, Paul grabs him and throws him to the left side of the room.

"Damn it!"

Dominic gets up and rushes at Paul. He starts throwing multiple punches at Paul with the flex technique applied. Paul starts slapping his punches over and over again.

"What the fuck, he's just playing with me!"

Paul pushes him off and grabs Dominic by the throat.

"You don't have enough drive!"

Paul pushes Dominic so hard that he goes flying from the building they are in into the building next to it.

"Ahh!"

"Dominic!"

Paul then proceeds to jump from the building next to Leo.

"You might be strong, but—"

Before he could finish his sentence, Paul punched Leo in the mouth.

"It's not good to talk too much during a battle."

Leo looks Paul in the eyes, and his mind starts racing.

"This guy is way too strong!"

Leo looks behind Paul and sees Dominic walking out of the building he was thrown into with many injuries. From behind, Leo Josh lands on the ground with his head bleeding.

"Come on, Dominic and Leo! We're the tank-top trio; we can't give up against this guy."

"Right!"

The tank-top trio starts surrounding Paul.

"Rahh!"

All three of them rush at Paul at the same time. All three of them throw multiple attacks at him with the flex technique applied. Paul dodges all of their attacks gracefully.

Without an expression on his face, Paul punches Josh through a building. Josh then vanishes, signaling that his health bar got too low and he is now out of the tournament.

Paul grabs Leo and Dominic and slams both of their heads together. Paul then kicks both of them into the air. He then bounces off the sides of the buildings and kicks both of them into the road. Both of them vanish as well. Without saying a word, Paul once again starts walking down the road.

In the Grava Academy auditorium, the tank-top trio appeared in the middle of the room. David, seeing this, screams, "Not more, I'm already healing five others!"

While students start appearing in the auditorium, the level one representatives are talking to each other.

Mrs.Lez smiles after seeing the tank-top trio appear.

"Yes, it's good to see the upper-class students take each other out."

Mr.Baz nods his head in agreement.

"Mr.Strout, I think it's about that time now."

"Yeah, it is. Seeing that Mr. Mink's face melt at this one will be beautiful."

On the other side of the room, Mr.Mink is sipping coffee with Mrs.Iris.

"Mrs.Iris, are you seeing what I'm seeing?"

"Yes, your prediction was right."

"Those lower-class representatives are always plotting something for their advantage."

On the TV screen, Mr.Mink sees that almost half of the top-class students are surrounded by lower-class students.

"I see they are choosing the dirty method to win. Having the students you're supposed to be making into our future gang up on one student because they were rated higher is pathetic."

Mr.Mink looks over to Mr. Strout, who has a big smile on his face.

"Hehe"
