Let the rescue begin

Three days have passed since class one started their training for the battle with the Frinstion gang, and now today is the day their training is put to the test. It's a cloudy morning, and Mr.Mink is briefing class one in the back of the hotel.

"Alright, class I promised you all you would be ready in three days, so that means today you all will be fighting the Frinstion gang."

Kage raises his hand for a question.

"Yes, Kage?"

"Let me fight Nubuki one-on-one!"

Unknown hearing this statement at first seems shocked but then calms down.

"I see where your head is at, Kage. You want to redeem yourself."

"Hell yeah! The reason I wasn't able to save Tota was because I was too weak to defeat Nubuki. So this time I plan to absolutely destroy Nubuki with my power alone!"

"Haha!"

"What's so funny, Mr.Mink!"

"Oh, it's nothing; it's just you being so fired up made me laugh a little. Ok, Kage, go ahead and take that one-on-one with Nubuki, but I have one rule for your battle."

"Ok, and what's that?"

"You're not allowed to activate level two until Nubuki activates his level two."

Kage's face goes from a face of confidence to a face of shock.

"What!"

"What's wrong Kage I trained you on OGI control for three days straight. In your last battle with Nubuki, you were going all out while he was still at level one. If you want to become a stronger OGI user, you have to learn to make complete use of level one before you go full throttle. Your level-one techniques at this time should be enough to fight Nubuki at level one. If you can't abide by that one rule, I'll just go fight Nubuki myself, even though it's probably a trap.

Kage looks at his fiat and remembers his humiliating defeat against Nubuki.

"No, I'll abide by the rule."

Kage looks at Mr.Mink with a fierce look in his eyes.

"I will defeat Nubuki no matter what!"

"...Perfect then. Now that that's settled, we need to go over what to watch out for when we get in there. Thanks to Selena's powers, we were able to figure out that the person who's keeping this barrier around the city up is a guy named Spatana. This man is a part of the Frinstion gang's big three. The Frinstion gang's big three are the strongest and most trusted members of the Frinstion gang. The other two members' names are Jasper and Brock. I guarantee you these two main objectives will be to protect Spatina since he's the one keeping us from getting outside help."

Selena raises her hand for a question.

"Yes, Selena!"

"Excluding Kage, there's four of us, so how about two of us go to save Tota while the other two go defeat Spatina?"

"That's a great plan, but for me, I'll be watching Kages fight. I can't have him breaking my rule."

"Hmm"

Before Selena could speak, Unknown came up with an idea.

"Aye, how about I just go save Tota solo?

"Wait, are you sure you can do it on your own?"

"It's just a rescue mission; I can handle it on my own."

Mr.Mink puts his left hand on his chin and starts thinking.

"Ok, Unknown you will save Tota while Selena and Akira will defeat Spatina. Now one more thing, do we know where their base is?"

The whole class goes silent after hearing Mr. Minks's question.

"Wait, Selena, you didn't read anyone's mind to find their base."

"Well, I have an image of what the base looks like in my head, but I don't know the exact location of the base."

Mr.Mink smacks his forehead in disappointment.

"Well, this will take a while."

About six hours later, class one arrived at the Frinstions gang mansion, which is on land sticking out over the sea. Class one is on a hill that towers over the Frinstion gang's base. Mr.Mink walked in front of the class to give instructions.

"OK, after having to get Selena to read so many minds, we finally found this stupid base, which is a mansion in the middle of nowhere, for some reason. Disregarding that, let's get a few things straight. Our main objective here is to save Tota and get out of this city. I know Kage wants to beat Nubuki, but this goes for all of you. If you ever feel your life is in danger, run. There's no shame in running. Everyone got that?"

"Right!"

"Perfect!"

Mr.Mink turns around to jump off the hill but bumps into something.

"Wait, don't tell me it's another one of these barriers."

"Yep, Spatina wiped up that one real quick for us. Such a good guy!"

Class one looks around in confusion after hearing an unfamiliar voice.

"Oh, right, sorry, I still got this on."

Out of nowhere, Jasper, who now has green and purple hair alongside his completely purple outfit, appeared with a small item in his hand. Kage and Unknown instantly recognize the item.

"Aye Unknown, isn't that the same thing Luthor showed us after the battle with Nest?"

"Yeah, it's called a miragerator, which allows people to basically become invincible."

"I knew it!"

Jasper smiles and activates level two.

"Sorry, but I can't allow you all to leave this city alive."

A glowing blue whip appears in Jasper's hand. Jasper instantly throws the whip at Mr.Mink. Mr.Mink attempts to jump out of the way, but the whip stretches out further and wraps around Mr.Mink, completely restraining him.

"The hell?"

"Great, I'm glad it worked. You see, my power is "whiplash," which allows me to summon whips that lock away people's strength, speed, OGI, and all of the above. This means that man will be useless for as long as I want."

"But you can only use one whip at a time, right?"

Jasper's smile turns to a face of passive-aggressive anger after hearing Selena disrupt him.

"And how do you know?"

"Hehe, that's for me to know and for you to be defeated, never knowing."

Jasper starts to smile again.

"I suggest you move and let me kill that teacher of yours, or you might die in his place."

Selena smiles as well.

"Kage, Unknown, and Akira go on without me. This guy is Jasper, one of the Frinstion gang's big three. I'll protect Mr.Mink from him while the rest of you take care of everything else. That barrier around the mansion only blocks out Mr. Mink, so all of you should be able to get in with no problem."

After hearing Selena speak, Jasper asks himself, "Is this girl a mind reader?"

"I see you figured it out, but that won't help you in this battle."

"Shit, this is going to be harder than I thought!"

"Hurry up and get to the mansion! You all know the plan; just do it without me!"

After Akira hears Selena's request, she screams in her mind, "Wait, does that mean I have to fight that Spatina guy on my own?"

"Yes, you will, Akira, but I know you'll be able to do it!"

"Damn it!"

Kage wastes no time and starts jumping off the hill to get to the Frinstion gang mansion.

"Thanks, Selena; make sure to take good care of our teacher!"

Selena gives Kage a thumbs-up as he descends the hill. Unknown notices that Kage is already ahead of them and jumps off of the hill as well.

"Wait up, dude!"

"Uh, wait for me too! Bye, Selena!"

Akira jumps off the hill as well. As the rest of class one descends down the hill, Selena continues her conversation with Jasper.

"Great, now I can fight you without holding back my class."

"That would be smart in a normal situation, but you just sent your friends to their deaths."

"You have an army of Frinstion gang members who are also invisible in front of the mansion. I already knew that, but class one doesn't need a warning from me. They'll win no matter what."

At the bottom of the hill, Kage landed first, with Unknown and Akira following.

"Ok, let's go, y'all. We need to get into that mansion!"

"Following right behind you, dude!"

"I can't believe I have to fight Spatina alone."

The group starts walking towards the mansion, but all of a sudden, three hundred Frinstion gang members turn off their Miragtors and appear in front of the Frinstion gang mansion.

"Haha, you all thought this would be easy!"

"Frinstion gang shit for real!"

"Let's fuck these kids up and send them crying to their mamas!"

Kage and Unknown show no shock at seeing the army of gang members.

"Are we really supposed to be scared of these guys?"

"I think we are, but they're not even scary, and they all sound like bitches!"

"Come on, Kage, they might be strong."

"Nope, no way!"

While Kage and Unknown converse, Akira starts shaking after seeing the army of gang members.

"How can you two be so calm? There are so many of them, and all of them look like level-one OGI users."

Kage laughs at Akira's statement.

"Come on, Akira, at least act like you're not scared!"

"I'm not scared; I just wasn't expecting so many of them."

"Oh fuck it, let's just destroy these dumbasses already!"

After hearing Kage's insults, the army of gang members all activate level one.

"You motherfucker, who do you think you are?"

"Let's fuck them up!"

One of the gang members clicks on his phone, and suddenly dark, gritty music starts playing from the mansion. All the gang members start dancing to the music.

"We're hyped the fuck now!"

"Let's kill them!"

The army of gang members rushes towards Kage, Unknown, and Akira. Kage smiles confidently, while Akira starts shaking.

"Rah! Let's go!"

Kage rushes into battle, with the other two following. This fight lasted for 20 minutes, and now the sun is setting. The entire army of Frinstion gang members is left on the ground, knocked out. After the battle, Kage, Unknown, and Akira are left exhausted with many bruises on their faces.

"Ok, that was harder than I thought it was going to be."

Kage, breathing heavily, looks up with a face of determination.

"Ok, no more messing around; let's go!"
