Arrogance

With forty-nine hours passed in the survival round of the Grava Academy tournament, it's officially the last day before all the students are teleported back to Grava Academy. In the auditorium, the lower-class representatives are contemplating their actions. Mrs.Lez whispers in Mr.Strout's ear, "This plan to take down the higher classes is completely failing."

"Don't be ridiculous, Mrs. Lez; we aren't completely out of the game yet."

Mr. Baz, hearing this, also comments on their situation.

"She's right We have underestimated the upper-class students Mr.Strout. Our kids are nowhere near their level of power."

"You see Mr.Strout we need to figure out a backup plan before this one completely blows up in our faces."

"Would you two spinless buffoons calm down! I told you before that we have Elias, a student trained by me personally. We will win this tournament."

At the same time, on the other side of the room, Mr.Mink and Mrs.Iris are once again observing the surveillance of the tournament.

"So this is the last day Mr.Mink!"

"Yeah, and it seems all my students have survived all the way to the last day, showing why they are in class one. Dang, but it seems one of your students got eliminated. Who defeated him again?"

"You think you're a jokester, I see."

"Oh, sorry, I just thought it was interesting that I have a level zero in my class and he's still in this, but one of your students lost."

As Mr.Iris looks at him with hate, Mr.Mink's face becomes serious.

"You know this portion of the survival round is most important."

Mrs.Iris calms back down and sits down in her seat.

"Yes, I do."

"These last twenty-four hours will hold either the least amount of action or the most. The smart students will lay low and wait for the twenty-four hours to end, which will pretty much guarantee they will be in the tournament."

"But there will be a few who will choose to continue to fight even though they made it this far."

"That's correct. Let's see how many people lose before the twenty-four hours end."

In Sandsnow Valley, Alexander and Feltzes have started their battle. Alexander and Feltzes collide fists and instantly jump away from each other.

"Hey Mr.Broke, you don't seem that strong!"

"You talk a big game for someone completely outclassed!"

"Haha, I'm rich! bitch! I'm lower than nobody."

Alexander rushes at Feltzes with a huge smirk on his face. Alexander throws multiple hundred-dollar bills into the air.

"You again with this money!"

The money showers on Alexander, completely covering him. Feltzes looks at the money and notices something.

"Wait, he's gone!"

Alexander appears behind Feltzes and kicks him in the back of the head.

"Don't get too distracted by the flashy money now! Because there's way more where that came from!"

Alexander takes a step, but all of a sudden, a slice goes across his torso. Blood spills from the cut, and Alexander takes a knee.

"Well, isn't that interesting?"

Alexander looks up and sees Feltzes standing above him.

"That attack came just at the right time."

Feltzes punches Alexander in the face with the flex technique applied.

Alexander gets sent flying into a pile of sand.

"OK, time to end this."

Feltzes raises his right hand and instantly lowers it with his palm pointing at where Alexander is.

"Time build-up"

A glowing blue sphere comes down from the sky and slams down onto Alexander.

"Ahhh!"

The sphere explodes and leaves Alexander with many injuries. Alexander gets up and clears the sand out of his hair.

"What a destructive ability you got there."

"No, it's not really destructive; it's just had a while to get that str—"

Feltzes gets distracted by the green cube floating next to Alexander. The cube has a screen in the middle and two eyes on the top.

"What's wrong, Feltzes? Don't tell me this surprises you!"

Alexander stands straight up.

"Heal all my injuries, auctioneer!"

After Alexander makes his request, a price of thirteen thousand dollars appears on the screen of the green cube.

"Only thirteen thousand? Haha, I guess these injuries aren't that bad! You already know where to get the payment from!"

The green cube starts to bounce around in the air in excitement. The cube starts to shake, and the price on the display turns into thirteen thousand with a plus next to it. All of Alexander's injuries instantly healed.

"Oh, and fix my clothes and hair as well."

A price of a hundred dollars appeared on the green cube.

"Yeah, yeah, I know; just fix it."

Alexander's clothes instantly get fixed, and his hair gets put back to normal.

"Wala! Let me introduce you to my power, ba—"

Feltzes quickly cuts Alexander off.

"Your power is band for band. A power that allows you to make any type of request from that green cube you call "auctioneer." The cube gives you a price for whatever you request, and once you permit it, it takes the amount displayed from your bank account. If there's nothing in your bank account, it will take any physical money you have in your possession."

"Ok, ok, shut up already! How the hell do you even know all that? Do you have mind reading like Selena or something?"

Feltzes appears behind Alexander and attempts to kick him. Alexander quickly reacts and blocks it with his right arm.

"Wait, his arm feels stiff."

Feltzes looks at the auctioneer and notices that six hundred dollars with a plus sign next to it are displayed.

"Another purchase, I see."

Feltzes kicks Alexander and follows it up with a punch to the chin. Alexander jumps back and opens his mouth. When he opens his mouth, a large amount of fire shoots toward Feltzes.

"Wait, he can pay for something like that as well!"

Feltzes uses the accelerate technique to quickly back away from Alexander's attack.

"Wait quicksand!"

Feltzes swiftly changes his direction and jumps to the right. Alexander, seeing this, is surprised and stops shooting flames.

"Wow, Mr.Broke, how did you know I used my power to turn that sand you were about to run into into quicksand?"

"You shouldn't worry about it too much because if you were to know, you would quit this battle, which I wouldn't want."

An image of Chika, the number one of class two popped into Feltzes's mind.

"I must fight strong opponents if I want to become stronger for her!"

"Wait, is that a special girl I hear you talking about? Well, isn't that cute? Should I give you some money so you can pay for a nice date for her?"

"Stop talking down on me like that and stop trying to distract me; I know what's coming already."

Five giant, deformed beasts with red eyes completely made out of sand come out of the sand. This beast is named Aridus, a beast that inhabits Sandsnow Valley.

All the Aridus look at Feltzes with murderous intent.

"You paid that green cube to make these Aridus want to attack me."

"You're pretty observant."

The Aridus open their mouths and start spitting out piles of sand at Feltzes. Feltzes uses the accelerate technique to move out of the way of the sand. Alexander gets next to Feltzes and slams both of his fists onto his head. He then grabs him by the throat and punches him in the face.

"Haha, what's wrong, broki? I thought you were supposed to be strong!"

Alexander throws Feltzes to the side, and then the Aridus adds to his struggle by spraying sand at him from their mouths.

Alexander smiles as he walks over to the pile of sand.

"Well, that was way easier than I thought. You would think the number two of class two would be a little stronger, but I guess I expected too much from a broki! Haha!"

The second Alexander says those words, all the Aridus in the area get blown up. Alexander looks over to where the beast was.

"Well damn"

Feltzes jumps out of the pile of sand and lands in front of Alexander.

"I see you're still doing pretty well for a broki!"

"You know I'm getting tired of hearing your arrogant comments."

Alexander's shoulder suddenly gets cut, and a bunch of blood spills out of it.

"I think it's time for me to get serious, so make sure you keep up, Alexander."

While this battle goes on, another encounter is ready to happen on Snow Island. Kage is walking through the thick snow on the left of the island.

"It finally stopped snowing. Why, out of all places, did I get teleported here? What day is it again? The second or third, right?"

"It's the third day."

Kage looks behind him and sees a 6'1 dark-skinned boy with bangs in his hair. He is wearing ripped black jeans and a plain T-shirt. He is also wearing a ripped jean jacket.

"Oh, thanks; that was really helpful."

"No problem, the name is Jason! The number one of class three is at your service."

"Wait a minute, aren't we supposed to be fighting now? This is a survival round."

"Well, I just wanted to introduce myself first. My parents always told me an introduction is always needed before you talk to someone. Plus, this is the third day, so avoiding a fight would be the smart thing to do right now. If you want to fight, we can, but that probably won't end well for you."

Kage cracks his neck and smiles.

"Well, since you seem so confident, let's rumble!"
