Ocular Menace: Misadventures of a Man with many Eyes

Johnathan Reed had just finished celebrating his 18 birthday, when like any self-respecting novel protagonist, died to the hands of Truck-Kun. He laments in his last moments the fact he never made it past 24 hours of adulthood, and should have looked before crossing the road. Next thing he knows he's in a old medieval style house. After successfully running away from the house, and whatever problems might come from meeting people, he's in the middle of nowhere until he hears the classic *Ding* any gamer would be familiar with. The Art Is Not Mine. If you are the owner of the art and want it down. let me know and I'll oblige. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- --Do I have you interested? please do let me know of any feedback you have, as again, this is solely for my own enjoyment and to improve my literary skills. I'm the only person proofreading this, and the grammar is probably killing you, so just bear with me, because English was never my best subject Also my jokes could be unfunny, let me know. Also I will do my best for compelling characters, but again first time writing. so stuff like romance might flop and be underwhelming for people and is probably gonna be a side bit, not the main focus and later on.

Barbecued Wrym

He then makes 9 blood clones, before snapping his fingers, allowing the onslaught of falling weaponry to begin.

His weapons then start raining from the sky, and he and his clones soon follow right after. While he's using Tsukuyomi in new moon to slash through any nearby wyms, he's also using Dragon's Sign and Vampire's Kiss while also sending out different elements to cause mayhem. He's using blood and earth spikes to impale wryms running away. He's also using lighting bullets along with the ones he's shooting out of his gun, a spell where makes a small ball of lighting and has it spinning, he then send it at breakneck speeds to kill wryms. He isn't using much else to practice his teamwork with himself. Around a minute later, a massive rumbling can be heard, alongside an ear shattering roar. A 17 foot dragon can then be seen emerging from the volcano, he looks extremely angry, he then exerts all his pressure on Johnathan, who doesn't even blink. This riles up the dragon even more, he then shoots out his fire breath, and start charging towards Johnathan. Johnathan is now taking this fight seriously, and summons his blood giant skeleton. He then telekinetically picks up the fallen weapons and starts launching them at the dragon, however none of them pierces his thick hide. He then starts teleporting around the dragon with his clones, but every time he does this, he makes a shockwave when his real body exits the portal. The dragon suddenly roars in triumph and charges towards Johnathan, who had just exited the portal, gets slashed into pieces. However it soon fall into a pile of blood. The dragon looks shocked and terrified as it made it's mistake. Right after that, Johnathan had used Tsukuyomi and tranquil darkness to cleave the dragon with 95% percent of it, using the remaining shards to pierce the dragons eyes, coated in his blood, to poison it should he not cut it. A roar of pain can be heard as his torsos slices almost in half, it's barley staying together, however he can't see, and the poison is quickly taking effect. The dragon starts flailing around. Without the ability to see, it made the dragon a massive target, but Johnathan wasn't really going to close, just letting the bleeding do all the work. It then slows down and then stops moving. He then goes to look at the exp he's gotten.

[The user has killed 955 fire wryms, 16829010 exp]

[The user has killed a fire dragon, 89101655 exp]

[You have leveled up!]

[You have leveled up!]

[You have gained to stat points to each stat and 4 free stat points]

Johnathan doesn't waste much time and puts 2 in strength and 2 in endurance. He then starts his cleanup, taking all the blood, corpses and other things that might be valuable inside his pocket dimension. He takes all of the dragons blood and his corpse inside before bothering with wryms. After he had finished, just for kicks, he tries barbecuing a wrym. After finishing, he tires it out. It wasn't great compared to stuff he got from town, but who knows, maybe there was someone out there with the perfect wrym cooking technique.

After his barbecue, he looks up to see that he has about 7 hours of night left, so he starts flying again.

When the sun finally rises again, he had gained 195791370 exp. Allowing him to level up once, and he put the stats in agility. He then teleports back to his room, and heard that everyone was just getting up, he goes to the forge and tries making his full length trench coat. He has no idea how this one's going to work, but he might as well try.

8 hours later, Johnathan leaves the forge, and he's wearing a black full length trench coat. He himself had no idea how this happened, but he wasn't upset with the results.

[Attire of the ultimate emperor]

Date of Creation [5/30/500]

Materials Used in Creation [Adamantite, Mithril, Orichalcum, Chlorophyte, Celestial Bronze, Darksteel]

Creator [Johnathan Reed]

Special effects [The Armor can shapeshift into anything the user desires, this does not affect it's defensive capabilities in the slightest. The armors strong enough to take a claw attack from a greater dragon without a scratch] [Boosts efficiency of spells, they require 30% less Mana] [Extremely comfortable, anything the user is wearing will feel like it's the best thing they have ever worn so long as the armor is equipped as well] [The armor can self-repair. Requires no maintenance, and will never smell. The user won't smell either with the armor equipped]

This was something he didn't expect, it was just great. There was no downside and probably nothing better than this accessible to him right now. The full brunt of a greater dragons attack, while his blood clone couldn't even handle a normal dragon. There was no way kingdom conquering would fail now, hopefully.

After leaving the forge, he decides to just go for it and attack the capital, so he finds Ruby to confirm if this is a good idea.

"Hey Ruby, where's the capital again?"

"Why do you want to know?" She asks skeptically.

"To go take it over, so where is it?" Johnathan sounds just the slightest bit impatient

Ruby thinks about this statement for a few seconds, before finally telling him. "Just keep following the road we took to get inside this city, with your teleporting, it should only take about an hour to get there. You will notice if it's the capital, because there will be a massive castle"

"Alright, thanks" he then starts teleporting down the road, passing by carriages, groups of adventures, and bandits. He kills any bandits he sees, just for the spare exp. They weren't worth much exp, so he just kept going, before stopping suddenly on the road. Seeing a massive castle in the distance.

"She was right, it is gigantic, but this feels overkill for a castle"

Yes I timeskiped the other half of the night, it would have been pretty dull to have fly around and stab more wryms or something. Also would have been a pretty dull chapter. But next chap is killing of the king, who's name I still haven't decided
