Facing The Emperor
At the hours when the sun was at its peak, in the middle of the sea, near the Karun circle;
Captain Grace climbed the mast of her ship and scanned the enemy fleet on the horizon. The emperor's ships were heading towards the most dangerous area of the sea. This was a mysterious place called the Karun circle, according to legends.
Every ship that entered this area would be exposed to a terrible storm during the battle and would often not return. Captain Grace was not afraid to enter this area. On the contrary, she wanted to use this storm to her advantage. Wanting to talk to her crew one last time before the battle, the captain addressed her pirate crew:
"Get ready, mates! Because today we're going to sink the emperor's ships! They think they can pass through the Karun circle without any trouble, but they don't know that we're going to attack them without fear! Because we are the most ruthless and best pirates this kingdom has ever seen!"
The crew responded enthusiastically to their captain's words. Their ship approached the emperor's ships. Captain Grace targeted the enemy's largest ship.
Captain Grace and the warrior's ship was as fast as they said, but the ships on the other side looked like monsters from the outside, especially the emperor's ship. It had cannons on almost every part and had huge sails.
The big ship on the other side was the ship where the emperor himself was. Captain Grace had to be very careful to defeat the emperor and seize the loot.
The warrior's only goal was to kill the emperor, his mission. But they still needed a basic plan. Aware of this, the captain turned to the second captain and told him what to do.
"Samuel, stay at the helm and push the ship. We're going to do the old pull and steal method."
The second captain asked with astonishment if this method would work or not.
"Are you sure this will work, captain? I mean the navy ships are strong enough. Besides, we're about to enter the Karun circle."
"Don't worry, old friend, the wind is on our side, and I don't need to tell you how fast this ship is."
The second captain, although reluctant, followed the captain's plan and shouted to the crew what to do.
"Prepare the harpoons, you lazy ones! We're doing the pull and steal method!"
The warrior silently continued to observe what the crew was doing, with a slight curiosity. When the pirate ship got close enough, they made sure that both the emperor and themselves entered the Karun circle.
The emperor and his navy did not turn and respond to them, and with the second captain's shout, everyone in the crew fired the big harpoons on the right and left sides of the ship, and one at the front of the ship, to the enemy ships.
The pirate ship hit five ships from behind, and on the captain's orders, suddenly turned its course back. The big ship turned back and the emperor's ships that were hit from behind were involuntarily dragged back with the pirate ship.
The pirate ship was out of range of the emperor's ships, so none of them could fire back at the pirate ship. With the effect of the wind, somehow one ship not only stopped the five ships, but also pulled them back.
In a short time, the sun in the sky disappeared and was replaced by gray clouds. Apparently, the Karun circle was about to show itself as it was said, because the changing weather indicated that a strong storm was approaching.
The captain thought this was a perfect opportunity and gave her crew another order.
"Prepare the ropes."
The crew threw long ropes to the enemy ship and swung to the enemy ship with the ropes. Everyone in the crew landed on the emperor's ship one by one, causing the battle to begin.
The ship turned into a war zone in seconds, but the real event started when the warrior and the captain set foot on the emperor's ship.
