The Beginning of the Unity of the Blazing Sun and the Moon

It was 7 am when Eva got up from her bed. She stretched her arms over her head and went to the washroom for morning chores.

Eva had a shower and wore a brown pants coat with a white undershirt. She slightly curled her hair and light makeup.

Eva went to the office. When she reached there, Eva asked Emma about Aeryn.

"Ma'am Sir called me to inform you. He won't be able to come today. I think Sir is not feeling well. He is sick." Emma said.

"Oh, I see," Evangeline said, thinking about something.

She moved towards her office and started doing work. While doing work:

"Is he seriously ill? Is it because of yesterday's beating? I should go there to check on him." Eva thought.

"No, I won't go. What if Aeryn thought I was coming for something else?" Eva exclaimed to herself.

Then she got busy at work. But in between her toil, she was thinking about Aeryn from time to time.

It was 4 pm When she took a break from her work.

She sat in her car and started to go towards home.

Suddenly, she stopped the car and decided to go towards Aeryn to watch him. She halted at the Flower bouquet shop and brought white lily, then called Emma.

"Send me the address of Mr. Aeryn's flat within a minute. I have some work." and ended the call.

She didn't know why she felt to explain to Emma the purpose. When she is the boss and Emma won't question her if she only asks his address. She was in a chain of thoughts when her cell phone beeped, showing Emma's message.

By putting Aeryn's address on google maps, she moved towards his flat. Within 30 minutes, she reached there.

Eva was standing in front of his door. She didn't have enough courage to ring the bell. After a lot of struggling, she finally rang the bell.

Almost two minutes later, Aeryn opened the door.

Evangeline POV:

For a minute, I forgot to take a breath. Aeryn was looking damn hot. He was wearing black trousers and a grey t-shirt. His hair was a little messy, not perfectly settled with jell. In messy hair, he was giving a hot look. By seeing him, I thought he had just taken a shower Because his hair was wet. I was not able to ask or say anything, But I saw him glancing at me. I felt a little more uncomfortable. But then he spoke.

"Hello, Ms. Evangeline. You and hear. Is everything alright?" Aeryn asked me in a concerned voice.

"Yeah, I was passing from here. So, I thought to visit you and see if you are alright." I said by composing myself.

Then Aeryn said:

"Oh! Glad to see you at my place. Come inside." Aeryn was friendly yet solemn.

I gave him flowers and moved inside.

"White lilies are my favorite. How did you know that I like it?" Aeryn asked me by engulfing Lily's scent.

For a minute, I could not respond, then came up with some words.

"A friend of mine likes them. So, I just randomly picked them."

I said to him, staring at the ground.

When he didn't say anything, I looked towards him, and he glared at me. I don't know why. But after I stared at him. He changed his glare with a sneaking smile. Then he told me to move towards the lounge and sat there.

I sat on the couch, and he said:

"Would you like tea or coffee,"

"Coffee," I replied.

He went to the kitchen, and I was there all alone. I started thinking about the way I would talk to him or say sorry. After a lot of thinking, I didn't come with an idea. But he reached here with two coffee mugs. He handed me my cup of coffee and sat on the couch beside me.

I was drinking my coffee, But Aeryn was staring at me.

I can feel his hot gaze on me. But I didn't say anything.

Indeed, I was feeling uncomfortable, but today I didn't loathe his gaze on me. I don't know why.

Finally, with a lot of courage, I raised my eyes to look at him. I found him staring at me. I immediately gazed at my cup. I heard his chuckle.

"Why didn't you come to the office?" I asked him, still looking at my coffee cup.

"Did Emma not tell you?" Instead of answering, he questioned me.

"She told me you are sick," I replied.

Hmmm, He did.

"I came here too,

I stopped.

"You came here for what?" Aeryn asked politely.

"I came here to apologize. I thought yesterday, and I felt guilty for sending those goons to beat you. I should not send them. So, I'm..., I stopped and said

I'm sorry for yesterday."

"You don't need to feel guilty or say sorry. I didn't mind."

"But I was at fault. At least, I should give you a chance to explain yourself. I acted rashly. So, sorry for all of that."

I exclaimed, putting my cup on the table.

"I said you don't need to. So, you don't need to. Forget all of that and make a fresh start with our friendship." Aeryn said, holding my hands in his.

At first, I felt uncomfortable, but after listening to him, I felt relaxed. I looked towards his eyes, which contain so many intimate emotions. I forgot to take my eyes off. I felt like I was drowning in his eyes. So, I broke eye contact and pulled my hands away.

"What do you think about friendship?"

"I I don't have any objection." I didn't want to say this. But it slipped from my tongue. I felt myself non-resistive towards him, and at the same time, I didn't feel good. Because he said yesterday, he loves me. Now, he was saying, Let's be friends. I hadn't liked his idea of giving up love. It's me who wanted this, but now when it's happening. I don't want this.

Aeryn again snatched my hands and brought them to his lips, and he kissed on my knuckles. I felt a churning in my stomach. With a sudden jolt, I pulled my hands and stood for going.

"What happened? You didn't like it," Aeryn said in a pathetic voice.

"No, it's not like this. I'm going back. Bye, see you tomorrow." I said and moved abruptly towards the door.

He followed me to his door. But said nothing. I moved towards my car, sat on it with a pounding heart. My heart was beating very fast. I didn't know why But I hadn't loathed him for coming close to me.

On one side, I hate that I accepted his friendship. I didn't want to be his friend. I didn't know what I wanted to be but not a friend, that was for sure.
