Forgiveness

Evangeline was shocked by his sudden pull.

She could feel his breath on her lips. Her lips were slightly touching his lips. She thought he was going to kiss her. But he didn't kiss her.

"If I want to take your advantage then, I can take it here right now. No one will be able to save you, not even you. If I want to do something." Aeryn was calm.

Eva remained silent.

" I can kiss you right now. Our lips are so close. But I won't kiss you or do something. You know why?" Aeryn said. But when Eva didn't respond.

"Angel, I loved you, and I love you. So, I will never take advantage." Eva glanced at him but remained silent.

"Why are you silent? You don't have anything to say to me. You kidnapped me. You wanted to break my legs. Now, what happened? Say something, Angel" Aeryn was becoming impatient. He wanted his angel to say something.

"Leave me, Mr. Aeryn," Eva mocked him.

"What? Seriously, You wanted me to leave you?" Aeryn was frowning.

"You said you love me, then why did you take advantage of me at the party. Leave me right now." Eva was struggling in his arms, But Aeryn didn't lose his grip around her tiny waist.

"Angle, will you please give me a chance to explain myself," Aeryn said in a begging tone.

But Eva got furious by listening to the word angel.

"Leave me, Aeryn. For god's sake, leave me," Eva was still struggling. But when Aeryn didn't lose his grip, a lone tear fell from her eye. She was struggling to keep herself strong, but she failed.

Aeryn loosened her when he saw her tear. Eva immediately stood on her feet and made herself composed. She was going to get away, but Aeryn stopped her by holding her wrist.

"Evangeline, I didn't mean to do that. I already told you yesterday. I just wanted to give you punishment for wearing the exposed dress. But I lost it when I mentioned that lusted person seeing you. I'm sorry. I respect you and love you so much. Please forgive me, Angel," Aeryn was begging forgiveness to his angel.

"Who the hell are you to punish me? Whatever, I wear it is my choice, and please stop calling me angel again and again." Eva said in a hurt tone.

Aeryn grabbed her by her arm and hugged her tightly.

"You're mine. So, your fucking body is also mine. You don't have any right to show it to any other men. I own you. So, never, ever, utter it again. Who are you?" Aeryn said while controlling his anger.

Eva was wiggling in his arms, but Aeryn didn't leave her. Then Eva started crying.

"Why are you doing this to me? Stay away from me. I don't want your love."

Aeryn broke the hug and started wiping her tears. Her tears were making him weak.

"Okay, stop crying. I'll stop this. I won't voice this again, But please stop. I can't see your tears that are acting as a blade on my heart."

Eva was sobbing now, and his words made her heart more painful.

"We'll be friends from now onward. I won't force my love on you, but please stop crying." Aeryn was in pain by seeing her in this condition. He never wanted her to cry. He just wanted to make her his. But not by making her sad he wanted her to accept him by heart.

Eva didn't say anything, but she stopped crying. Then Aeryn wanted to drop her at her home, but Eva refused. Then she went home by driving her car.

Aeryn's POV;

My angel went down the building towards her car. I followed her. She sat in the car and went away. I stood there until her car disappeared. Then I sat in my Bentley and went towards my home. I didn't want my angel to cry. So, I promised myself. I won't do anything that will make her hurt. I'll make her fall for me by her wish. She'll love me soon.

Evangeline POV;

When I reached home, I didn't see anyone. I moved towards my room, locked it, and fell on my back on the bed. I was tired. I don't want all of this to happen. I kidnapped him and beat him with my men just to make him suffer. But again, here I'm suffering. He said he loved me. But he was behaving the same way as my Asher. Asher didn't love me. So, how can he love me?

I closed my eyes to remember something from the past.

Five years back....

In Asher's study, Asher and Evangeline were sitting. They were working on a project. Then suddenly, Eva saw him glancing at her.

"What happened? Where is your focus? I'm talking to you." Eva pouted.

"I'm thinking how beautiful you are. I'm blessed. You are mine." Asher said while caressing her jawline with his thumb.

Eva blushed.

" Angel, you are all mine. I won't tolerate it if anyone puts an eye on you." Asher was drowning in her beauty.

"Asher, you know, there is someone who also claims me like you. He is the same as you, over possessive. He even punished me like you did when I wore that off-shoulder top. He also doesn't want to see me with others. He loves me as you do. Is it love? But you left me. So, he will also."

Eva was laughing madly.

"I know he punished me for a reason, but he doesn't have any right over me. We are not lovers. So, he can't punish me like that. But I should not send those goons to beat him. They beat him. Because there were bruises over his handsome face, I should not try to harm him. What if he became a cripple? No, I should say sorry for what I did. He had said sorry for what he did. So, I should also. Let bygones be bygones. I should start a fresh start." Eva said to herself and stood from the bed. She stretched her arms over her head and moved towards the closet. She took a pair of night pajamas and went to the washroom.
