Flash of Anger

In the morning, Eva reached her office. She was wearing a white, high neck, sleeveless top with black bell-bottom pants. She moved towards her cabin. Emma followed her.

"Where is Mr. Wilson? Is he in his office?"

"No, mam. Sir is not here yet."

"Why?" Eva was frowning.

"Mam, You reached early, it's 9 o'clock. Sir will be here anytime soon." Emma was a little scared. She felt that Eva was not in a good mood.

"Tell me immediately when he reached," Eva said and gestured for her to leave.

"Okay, mam." Emma went out.

"I will see you off today. There is no need for you to work with me." Eva smiled mockingly.

She started working in anger. Almost 15 minutes later, Emma informed her about Aeryn's arrival.

"Okay, go and give me the contract file of Wilson's partnership," Eva said while thinking something.

The project file was in the locker. So, Emma went there. She picked the contract file and gave it to Eva.

Eva took it and moved out of her cabin. She reached Aeryn's cabin. Without knocking, she entered.

"What?" Aeryn asked by raising one eyebrow.

"I want to cancel our contract. Sign this file, and we are over." Eva exclaimed, folding her arms on her chest.

"Are you sure?" Aeryn leaned on his chair.

"Yeah," Eva exclaimed.

" Okay, then give me 100 billion dollars." Aeryn smiled sheepishly.

"What?" Eva was shocked.

"I think you didn't read our contract completely. It's written on it. If any one of us breaks this contract, then the company who will break has to pay 100 billion dollars as compensation." Aeryn was enjoying her condition.

"But that was 50 billion dollars." Eva was frowning.

"That would have been 50 billion if our work had not started. I have already bought land, and construction work has started. So, 50 billion dollars is compensation." Aeryn smirked.

Eva didn't say anything. She glared at him with her red face.

"Give me 100 billion dollars, and our contract will be over. But, I think you can't pay 100 billion. As far as I know, your company's whole worth is 125 billion dollars. If you are going to pay me, then you have to give me your company." Aeryn said in a neutral tone. He didn't want her to feel shame or anger.

Eva's jaw fell on the floor by listening to him. She thought that 50 billion was the compensation. So, after breaking the contract, she had to pay 25 billion because she didn't buy land or start her work in France. But she forgot that he had started his work.

Eva was clenching her jaw by seeing his smartness.

Aeryn chuckled by seeing her condition.

"You can't pay me back. So, go back to your cabin and start working. Don't waste your time." Aeryn said while standing from his chair. He moved towards her.

"Don't be overjoyed. If I can't pay you back, I won't forgive you for what you did yesterday. Just wait and watch what I'll do with you." She scowled at him by pointing her index finger and went out.

Aeryn's POV;

When I reached the office, I was feeling something off. Eva was already in the cabin. Almost a minute or two later, she arrived at my office cabin without knocking. I laughed inwardly. I was expecting this.

She threw the file on my desk and said sign. I knew she'd do something like this and, I had prepared. I wanted to laugh very hard, but I controlled. I chuckled by seeing her condition.

When she warned me, I wanted to say something, but before I'd say she left.

I wanted to say sorry for my misbehaving. Eva didn't listen and moved out.

Evangeline POV;

When I went out, I was flashing with anger. I was not able to think anything. I directly went to my cabin and sat on my chair. I was feeling angry and embarrassed. Firstly I wanted to break the contract because I didn't want to face him anymore.

But after this, I wanted to give him a lesson for messing with me and disrespecting me. I called someone:

"Yes, mam. How can I help you?"

"I want to talk with Dante, give him."

"Yes, mam. Dante, speaking."

"I have a word for you. Will you be able to do?"

"Yeah, mam. Tell me."

I told him something and ended the call. An evil smirk appeared on my lips.

"Best of luck! Mr. Aeryn."

"This will be your punishment for messing with me." I tossed my cell phone in my bag and started working with a mean smile.
