Invisible pt 2 (Satan x demon reader)

Y/N's POV

It's been a couple months since I first met Satan, and all I can say is that it's been an interesting experience.

We usually hang out in the library during lunch and before school starts, talking about the kinds of books we've read.

I'm still super shy around him. I still stutter when I'm around him, but I've noticed that it's gotten a little better.

We were currently in the library before class started, and I was browsing the shelves with Satan following behind me.

"H-Have you...read t-this one before?" I carefully pulled out a book from the shelf.

"No I haven't, but if you've read it, then it must be a good book." Satan took the book from my hand.

I felt the warmth of his hand for a few brief seconds, but it felt longer than that.  My cheeks felt slightly warm.

So we walked over to the librarian's desk, and Satan checked out the book I had shown him.

"You two will read every book in the library by the time you graduate." She chuckled.

"That sounds like a challenge." Satan replied as the librarian handed him the book.

"I-It.....sounds like f-fun." I said in my soft voice.

"You two should hurry to class, the bell is about to ring." The librarian said.

"O-Oh! We should hurry." I glanced at the clock on the wall.

"Go on ahead Y/N. I'll be there in a few." I nodded as I left the library.

3rd POV

"Do you need something else?" The librarian asked.

"Well, I just wanted to say thank you for letting us come in here all the time." Satan said curtly.

"It's no problem. The library feels a little less empty when you two come here.

Besides, if it weren't for you, Y/N would still be lonely."

"Lonely?" Satan raised an eyebrow.

"I shouldn't say this, but before she met you, she never talked to anyone. She only thanked me whenever I checked out her books." The librarian explained.

"I didn't know that." Satan thought out loud.

He knew that Y/N was super shy, but he didn't know that she didn't have any friends. He felt a small pang in his chest.

"Anyways, you should get to class too. I'll see you guys when you come here for your lunch date." The librarian winked.

"D-Date?" Satan was surprised to find himself blushing.

Y/N's POV

Satan walked into the classroom, but he seemed a little out of it.

"A-Are...you alright?" He glanced at me before looking away.

"Y-Yeah I'm fine." He sat down at his desk, and didn't say anything else.

Throughout the class, I noticed that Satan would glance at me, only to look away a few seconds later. Which only made my worries grow.

The bell rang, and I walked over to Satan's desk. He still seemed a little off.

"H-Hey Satan...are you r-ready for-?"

"I-I'm sorry. I have to do some paperwork. I'll eat with you tomorrow." Satan quickly got up, and left the classroom.

When I got to the library, the librarian raised an eyebrow. I could already tell what she was thinking.

"Hi Y/N. Is Satan not with you?" She asked. I shook my head.

"N-No...he had some paper work to fill out." I smiled as I walked to the chairs in the back.

I tried to concentrate on my book, but I just couldn't. My mind kept wandering to thoughts about Satan.

For the next few days it was like this. I tried to talk to him, but he either ran off, or ignored me completely.

Today was the 5th day, and once again I tried to talk to him. It was time to go to lunch, but my hope faded as I got closer to his desk.

"H-Hey....d-do-"

"I promised to eat with one of my brothers today, so you can go to the library by yourself." He got up, and left.

My chest hurt as I left the classroom. For once, my destination wasn't the library. I headed outside instead.

3rd POV

Satan sighed as he walked into the library. He didn't really promise to eat with his brothers, but he was still too embarrassed being around Y/N.

He hadn't figured out why yet. What was it about her that made him flustered like this? Was it her shy nature? Or her intelligence? He didn't know.

Satan felt bad for ignoring her for the past few days, and he wanted to try and figure out why he's been feeling like this.

However, when he entered the library, Y/N wasn't in their usual seats in the back.

"Have you seen Y/N?" Satan asked the librarian. She shook her head.

"No I haven't. I did see her pass by the doorway earlier. She might've gone outside." Satan started to leave, but the librarian called out to him.

"Satan." He turned around.

"Be good to her alright? A girl like her is rare nowadays. I'm asking as a friend, not as an adult." The librarian smiled brightly.

Satan was confused, but he nodded anyways. So he practically ran outside to find Y/N.

He searched for a few minutes before he heard sniffling from nearby. Satan walked to the source of the sound.

As he got closer, a small figure came into view. The figure was sitting on the ground, and had their knees up against their chest.

It was Y/N.

Y/N's POV

I'm not sure how long I've been crying, but it felt like forever. The minutes seemed to drag on for hours.

"....Y/N?" I heard a familiar voice, but I didn't look up.

"....I'm sorry."

"Y-You.....did nothing wrong..." I whimpered.

"I did though. I purposely avoided you, and I'm deeply sorry for that. I've been feeling weird lately." He sat down next to me.

"W-Weird?" I asked.

"Every time I was around you, my chest felt warm. It's a feeling that I can't describe." I looked up.

Satan carefully cupped my cheek, and wiped away my tears. His soft touch caused me to blush wildly.

"W-What....are you d-doing?" Instead of moving away, he leaned in closer.

I felt a warm sensation on my lips, and my body froze on the spot. Time seemed to stop entirely.

Satan soon moved away, leaving me a blushing mess. It took me a few moments to comprehend what had just happened.

"I figured out what this feeling is. Y/N...I love you."

".....I-I....love....you too." I smiled.

He softly grabbed my hand, and helped me stand up. We walked back to the school with huge smiles on our faces.
