Beach pt 2 (Lucifer x reader)

Y/N's POV

As I fed Lucifer his sandwich, I thought I heard a faint voice coming from nearby. I lowered the sandwich from Lucifer's mouth.

"Did you hear something, Lucy?" I asked as I looked around. It felt like someone was watching us, which was odd since we were a good ways away from the people on the beach.

"Perhaps it's that man from earlier watching you. If it is, we'll have to have another conversation with each other." Lucifer had a smile on his face, but a chill went down my spine. It was scary and attractive at the same time.

"You know what? I'm probably just overthinking it. Here." I held up the sandwich again, but this time he grabbed my wrist.

"I'm hungry for something else." He leaned in, and kissed me, causing me to gasp a little. He moved away from me, and I was frozen in place.

What made it even worse was the fact that the only thing he was wearing was his swimming trunks.

"You..." I could tell that my face was extremely red, and Lucifer only chuckled as he took my wrist, and finished off his sandwich.

"What an amusing reaction. Are you that embarrassed by a simple kiss?" I stood up and hurried by the water, and kneeled down on the sand, waiting for the right timing.

"Oh, did I tease you too much? It was only in good fun." I heard the sand moving behind me, and I couldn't help but smirk.

"Are you going to ignore me now?" Lucifer's voice was very close to me, so I quickly moved my arms into the water, and threw my arms behind me.

"Revenge!" I yelled out as I saw my boyfriend's face get drenched in water. It was silent for a few moments before I heard someone's laughter not too far from us.

We both looked at each other before looking in the direction of the laugh. To our surprise, Diavolo himself was peeking out from behind a large rock, and laughing. I also caught Barbatos silently smiling behind Diavolo.

"Lord Diavolo, what are you doing here?" Lucifer quickly stood up and walked over to him. I followed behind, and watched the water fall off of Lucifer's head.

"I wanted to make sure that you actually went on a break. And I was curious on where the two of you would go for a date." Diavolo said nonchalantly. I looked up at the two demons in front of me.

"But you said you wanted us to spend some time alone together. That the point of a date after all." I spoke up.

"That is true, My Lord." Barbatos chimed in as Diavolo pouted. Ladies and gentlemen, the all-powerful ruler of Devildom.

"I wanted to watch Lucifer be cute with Y/N, but I guess I can leave the two of you alone for the rest of the day." He turned around, and opened up a portal. Diavolo and Barbatos walked inside. Before they completely dissapeared, I got a friendly wink from Diavolo.

"I can't believe they followed us here." Lucifer sighed as he looked at me. I felt another chill run down my spine. This time his intimidating yet attractive aura was aimed at me.

"So, about that prank, we're even now right? You surprised kissed me, and I surprised splashed you." I laughed as Lucifer stepped closer to me.

"Do you really think you could negotiate your way out of a punishment?"

"Yep."

"I suppose I can show some mercy. Be lucky that you're my girlfriend. If it were Mammon who did something like this to me, I would've hung him from the ceiling again." Lucifer smiled as he patted me on the head. All of the tension drained in my body as we returned to our spot on the beach.

"Let me dry you off." I grabbed a towel, but Lucifer sat behind me. He pressed me against his back.

"My hair isn't that important. I want to hold you close to me. You're mine after all." He spoke softly. My cheeks flared up again. I could feel his heartbeat. But unlike mine, it was beating at a normal speed.

"You just love teasing me, don't you?"

"It is quite entertaining, and it seems that you like to be teased by me." Lucifer chuckled as he started to comb his fingers through my hair.

It was pretty soothing, but my heart wouldn't stop pounding in my chest. He was right. I did enjoy the way he always teased me. I always try to tease him back, but I always end up on the receiving end.

We sat there in silence as Lucifer continued to brush my hair. I leaned back even more and rested my head against his chest. The sound of the ocean waves gently brushing against the soft, pale sand was extremely calming as well.

"Hey, Lucy..." He glanced down at me, and I gave him a brief kiss on the lips. He cupped my cheek, and leaned in for a longer kiss.

"I love you." I whispered as we broke apart for air. He started caressing my cheek with his thumb, and he spoke in a slightly deeper voice.

"This may sound strange, but you're the only person in the three realms that can make me feel this way."

"It's not strange at all. I feel the same way. Even though I only learned there were three realms when I first came to Devildom." I chuckled as Lucifer gave me another kiss, which I happily accepted. When we broke apart again, Lucifer sighed.

"It's getting late, we should head back." I nodded. I wish we could've stayed like this forever, but we needed to go back to the House of Lamentation.

"Yeah. We should go on another date like this sometime. I really like spending alone time with you." I smiled as the two of us started packing our things away.

"Indeed. Where should we go?"

"Not sure. But it doesn't really matter as long as I'm with you."

"Trying to flatter me, Y/N?"

"Nope. Just speaking the truth."
