Real culprit
As the meeting proceeded, John kept thinking about Velar. He had never killed a person in his life, after being trained under Titanium. Titanium had always taught him, to not kill innocent men ever. But, today he was about to do a killing after a very long time. He was going to the vampire hunter's house and kill him and also, burn down the velarium tree he had mentioned.
Soon the meeting ended with John being the head investigator of the killing incidents. He always had the knack to influence people his own way, which was a skill he had been gifted after turning into a vampire.
Everybody left while John was the only one left in the room. He could yet again sense a danger not far away from him. Suddenly he heard low moaning and painful shreiks of a man and with one swift move he jumped out of the window.
"SWOOOOSHHH!"
