Xuanwu

Ling Yuefeng gritted his teeth when he saw the other members of the Nura Clan from the window. He looked at the worried Xuanyuan in his embrace, then his eyes landed on Yun Che's laid back posture.

His eyes flashed as he destroyed the door, with great speed he carried his wife and escaped.

Yun Che remained seated, his casual expression indicated that he's not in a hurry to capture Ling Yuefeng and his wife.

At first Ling Yuefeng was glad that Yun Che let his guard down, giving him the chance to escape but when he reached the courtyard his expression greatly changed by what he saw.

Ling Yuefeng saw the countless disciples and elders of the Heavenly Sword Villa laying motionless all over the place. All of them were injured but he can tell that their injuries aren't fatal.

He stood there in daze for a long time before he spoke.

"How? I haven't put my plans into action yet. How were you able to subdue everyone in this short amount of time?"

Soon, not far from him, black smoke started to form into a silhouette.

"Well, you shouldn't be surprised. That's just how efficient crows are when it comes to surveillance."

When the smoke dispersed, what appeared was a man　covered by the giant black wings which protruded from his back. His serious expression permeated the air from his body, he was emitting an aura of a general.

"A demon? I see. I should've realized that from the beginning."

Ling Yuefeng sighed in defeat, seeing that this person revealed his true form in front of him can only mean one thing and that's his death.

There's no way that he'll be spared after knowing this secret.

Ling Yuefeng looked at Karasu-tengu in the eye as he said,"I know that I'm not in the position to ask a favor, but please spare my wife and my clan. I will make sure that they won't dare to oppose the Nura Clan and utter words about what happened today."

"Well, that's not possible. Atleast for me. The only one who has the right to make a decision is our Supreme Commander. No one else, so if you want to beg, do it in the presence of the Supreme Commander."

Karasu-tengu replied calmly, he doesn't find Ling Yuefeng pitiful at all, for a person who plots against Nura Clan is considered as an enemy and he doesn't show mercy to his enemies.

His Supreme Commander is different though, base on his personality, there's a chance that he will spare the other members of this clan.

"Go tie them up, we'll bring them to the Supreme Commander."

Countless silhouettes soon appeared and tied everyone from the Heavenly Sword Villa.

Ling Yuefeng knew that he doesn't have the strength to defy the Nura Clan anymore so he didn't resist.

Xuanyuan on the other hand resisted with everything that she got, her actions forced the Black Phoenix Clan member to knock her unconscious.

After settling everything Karasu-tengu ordered everyone to return.

Members from different sects who were startled from the commotion that came from Ling Yuefeng's courtyard went out to check the situation.

Finally, they hadn't went too far before they made it to their destination, only to see a massive turtle that covered the sky. This turtle was incredibly huge and beyond human imagination.

To be exact, the only thing that made it similar to a turtle is it's form, but it's appearance is totally different. It has an enormous, dragon-like head, behind which was a long neck covered with scales that emanated dark light! Following the head and the neck were two indescribably terrifying clawed hands, and then, a huge turtle shell carrying a huge mansion.

How was this still a turtle? Hovering in the sky, it blocked out the sky. For all of the disciples and elders, it was the first time seeing such a massive turtle.

"Hey, look at that. Isn't that the emblem of the Nura Clan?", A sect elder with sharp eyes caught the emblem of the Nura Clan at the entrance of the ancient mansion.

Everyone eyes landed to the spot where the elder pointed and also saw the emblem.

"So this massive creature actually belonged to the Nura Clan?"

Everyone the ignored the disciple who was stating the obvious and watched the massive turtle leave towards the temporary courtyard of the Nura Clan.

Although it looks slow, but in fact it was extremely fast.

Xia Yuanba was sitting alone in the courtyard as he thought about what happened today.

Before the Supreme Commander left, he secretly ordered everyone to make sure Yohime doesn't leave the courtyard.

Yohime doesn't have any idea that Hannya ordered this since he doesn't want her to feel locked up in a cage.

She already experienced such life when her father was alive so Hannya doesn't want her to experience it again.

With that being said, Hannya is still concerned about Yohime because this world is totally different from Earth.

A beautiful woman like Yohime who doesn't even have the strength to protect herself will only end up as toy for those people in power if she doesn't have any backing.

Yuanba knows this yet he allowed his emotion to cloud his decision which caused trouble for the Nura Clan.

He couldn't really blame her for worrying about them. So he felt responsible, it was also because of this incident that made him feel the urge to change.

He wants to gain strength to protect everyone that is important to him.

While he was having this thoughts, the area around him suddenly dimmed which startled him a bit. Then he heard a shout coming from above.

"Hey! Yuanba! We're here."

Raising his head Yuanba was stunned to see a massive turtle but his attention was soon caught by the young man waving at him.

"Brother-in-law!!"

Yuanba's gloomy aura disappeared in a flash as he waved his hands at Yun Che, then he run inside to call everyone out.

Soon, the rest of the Nura Clan led by Hannya went out and saw Karasu-tengu and the rest on top of the massive turtle.

When Hannya saw their headquarters at the back of the turtle, he was surprised but still he kept his calm.

He calmly entered the Nura Clan Mansion and gathered the core members in the meeting room.

All the core members gathered inside a traditional japanese room that is always used by the Nura Clan for meetings.

"Now, Karasu-tengu. Care to explain?"

Karasu-tengu knew that Hannya was referring to the giant turtle carrying the headquarters so he let out a cough and reported.

"Supreme Commander, do you still remember the Astral Spirit in the report that we sent?"

Hannya nodded, it's appearance even caused Greed to be left behind, sending Yuanba alone here.

"That old man was actually a holy beast that was sealed beneath the headquarters. When the headquarters was summoned the seal was destroyed accidentally."

"So? How were you able to communicate with this holy beast?"

Karasu-tengu turned to Greed who was sitting calmly at the corner. Seeing this, Greed stood up and explained.

"Nurarihyon-sama, because of my crippled veins I couldn't cultivate. Normally, I wouldn't be able to gain power, right?"

Hannya nodded once again as Greed's words rang true.

"But that situation only falls into "normal category" and I'm not normal. As a member of seven deadly sins, I have my own ways. For example, devouring souls to enhance mental energy. With the headquarters being a natural Spirit gathering land, I was able to increase my strength and reach the level of Sky Profound Realm."

"So what does it have to do with the Astral Spirit?"

"Nurarihyon-sama, your underestimating the power of mental energy so much. Aside from great strength, it also gives me the ability to communicate with spirits."

According to Greed, the Astral Spirit of the turtle couldn't communicate with everyone because it was just released from the seal. At first it only lingered around the headquarters but when the Black Phoenix Clan returned with Karasu-tengu, it started to try to communicate with them.

"So why does it want to communicate with them?"

Gyuuki asked as he narrowed his eyes. An unknown Astral Spirit, suddenly tried to communicate with them. It wouldn't be surprising if that spirit has some ulterior motives.

Just when Greed was about to reply, their subject of discussion suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

Gyuuki dangerously narrowed his eyes and was prepared to take action when he heard the sound of a phoenix from Hannya's body which stopped him from making a move.

Soon, a figure of a voluptuous woman with fiery wings appeared.

"It's been awhile since we saw each other, Xuanwu."

From the Phoenix's words it seems like she and the astral spirit named Xuanwu had some history, their interaction affirmed Hannya's deduction.

When he heard that the Astral Spirit tried to communicate with the Black Phoenix Clan, he sensed their connection. Now with the Phoenix lady's words, it became obvious.

Everyone watched as the two communicated silently, they couldn't hear much more understand what they're talking about. Because of this Greed became a translator.

It turns out that Xuanwu, was looking for the person who sealed him to get his revenge but the Phoenix lady doesn't have any information about this person.

Xuanwu looked slightly down when he heard the Phoenix but stopped when he heard Hannya's words.

"Hey, Xuanwu. Why don't you join the Nura Clan, in return I will help you with your revenge in the future."

Hannya crossed his arms under his loose red kimono while looking at Xuanwu with anticipation. He was able to keep track on their conversation with Greed's help so he took this chance to recruit this holy beast. Such an opportunity, there's no way that he's gonna let it pass.

Xuanwu hesitated for awhile but with the Phoenix lady adding some good words about Hannya made Xuanwu accept Hannya's proposal.

When Hannya heard the notification that Xuanwu has joined the clan made, he inwardly smile.

He was in a good mood so he asked everyone to join him for a drink.

They went to the hall and celebrated.

The Yokai's were in festive mood as they drank to the fullest.

Some played games, while others sang. It looked extremely chaotic but Hannya and the core members were happy.

They totally forgot Ling Yuefeng and the other captives.

When night came, two figures suddenly appeared at the back of the turtle as they looked at the entrance of the Nura Clan's headquarters.

Just when they're about to take a step inside the mansion, suddenly as swift as the wind, two katana simultaneously appeared an inch away from their necks.

Two people blocked their way.

One is a man with a top knot hair while the other one looks like a girl wearing a horse skull.

"State your name and business." Gozumaru coldly ordered as he eyed the two intruders.
