Rihan Makes a Move

Just as he was about to leave Ji Hao felt the air around him shift, making him felt as if he was sent underwater, he look around warily. "What's going on?"

He felt his body tingling with foreboding feeling.

It's like the air around him shifting, like something was moving in the space around him yet he couldn't find anyone no matter how many times he scanned the room.

It was as if a primodial beast is watching his movements, he felt like he is a prey and a predator is overwatching his actions while waiting for the right time to make a move.

The moment he decided to ran away he felt a pain from his body.

he struggled to a bit to steady his body in mid-air as he looked around him. The princess is no longer in his hands, he checked the surroundings to find the person who attacked.

"Who is it?" He spread his senses around him to trace his opponent, yet he suddenly found out that he couldn't find anything.

As soon as he realized that he couldn't sense his opponent , cold sweat started trickling down his spine, but despite this, he stayed positive. But unlike before he was now more vigilant, he heightened his senses.

Hmm? He noticed a yellow petals falling from above,

The falling petals flutter down, sparse in the cool breeze of the night. He doesn't know why but he felt danger coming from those petals.

Is it just my imagination? Ji Hao thought as he couldn't really imagine himself feeling scared from flower petals.

Ji Hao suddenly noticed that falling petals swirled as it surrounded him, he felt like he was currently at the eye of the storm. He raised his eyebrow as increased his vigilance towards this invisible enemy.

As he watched the beautiful sight of yellow petals Ji hao felt pain as multiple petals graze his body, ripping off his cloak into shredds.

His appearance was revealed, he looks 60% similar to Ji Chen, he also has a tanned skin but unlike Ji Chen who has a black beard, he only have stubles in his chin.

Rihan smiled as he watched as Ji Hao defended from the Yamabuki petals ravishing his body.

Blood splashed everytime the petals graze Ji Hao's body, the former yellow petals has now turned red with blood.

Gritting his teeth, Ji Hao roared as a huge amount of profound strength blasted the swirling petals, his bloody figure is now perfectly visible as he tried to catch his breath.

He manipulated the profound strength in his body as he enhanced his defense, every part of his muscles contorted, as the scratches started to heal.

The veins in his body throb as he gathered a large amount of profound aura, the air wailed, he looked around him and roared, " Since you don't want to show yourself then I'll attack everything in my line of sight."

A surge of storm formed around him when he heard a voice behind him, "Now, it will be troublesome if you cause destruction in this place."

As he jerked his head he saw a young man slowly materialized looking at him with one eye open, his left hand held the princess while his right hand held a large Sakazuki Cup.

The moment Rihan blew the sake, ripples surfaced as a fiery red flames emerged.

Phoosh!

In the blink of an eye, a gust of wind rushed forward with Fiery red flames, blazing chaotically like a storm. Suddenly, Ji Hao felt his profound aura being devoured as he was engulfed in flames.

Large amounts of flame began surging out from the wounds he got from the flower petals, The flames gigantic flame gradually contracted, forming into the shape of Ji Hao's body.

His wailing sounded eerie as the people in the Profound Moon Palace were alerted, Ji Hao's scream made everyone felt their blood turn cold as it no longer sounded like a scream from human but akin to that of a tortured beast.

The moment they went out, the scene thay saw made them feel in awe..

Ji Hao's eyes turned bloodshot as he glared at Rihan, using all his strength he shot towards Rihan with a speed of light.

'Show-off', Jasmine muttered as she watched Rihan's cool display from the Sky Poison Pearl's space.

Throwing the Sakazuki cup, he took out his sword, his speed was so swift while Ji Hao was too slow to avoid, the cold aura surged from nenekirimaru's blade.

As the crimson light shone, like a flame sword, it slashed verically towards Ji Hao.

Fwoosh!

Ji Hao froze in the air as he felt the blade went past his body.

Even though he enhanced his defense with profound energy he still couldn't defend from Rihan's blade. One had to know, that Rihan received the God Fire Seed from Ddraig's nest, wrapping his blade with flame energy made the blade sharper; while travelling to the New Moon City, Rihan didn't remain stagnant as he followed Jasmine's teaching.

"Ah…" Ji Hao miserably bellowed.

Rihan smiled insipidly with a cold gaze as he watched his opponent fall.

Ji Hao's figure can no longer be described as that of a human, as he resembled that of burned charcoal, Only some flame patterns would shine from his body from time to time.

Before his death, he didn't expect that he would die in a small city like this and in the hands of a youngster at that.

Holding a sword in one hand while a beauty on the other, made the male cultivators jealous while the females admired his sights, wishing that it was them being held in his hands.

Rihan descended to the ground, while everyone focused their eyes on Rihan, one person from the crowd suddenly sneaked, just as his sword was about to pierce Rihan's back, a person with an even faster speed appeared and intercepted his attack.

The person who stopped this attack was not Rihan, but it was Kuroumaru, who was tasked to guard Rihan. He had arrived the moment Rihan split Ji Hao in half.

"Trying to attack our young master, are you asking for death?" Kuroumaru's cold black scelera and red eyes akin to that of raven caused the attacker to felt scared.

He took a step back as he felt his entire body shaking from fear, he turned around as he tried to escape only to lose his head in the process.

He didn't have the chance to cry out as his head flew in while the blood sprinkled in the air.

Silence..

Everyone stared at the two cold-blooded slayers, though they felt scared but for some reason the female cultivators found their demeanors extremely cool as they stood against the moonlight.

"Rihan-sama, you should've told us if you're going somewhere, I wouldn't be able to face Supreme Commander if something happened to you." Kuroumaru sighed in relief while grumbling after he saw Rihan safe.

"Haha, sorry, sorry. I will next time", Rihan scratched his head as he smiled at Kuroumaru, "Hey, are you okay?", Rihan then turned his attention to Cang Yue and asked, but there was no response.

Looking at her pale face Rihan carried her in a princess fashion and then flew to the broken window, Rihan walked towards her bed as he slowly and carefully put her down.

For some reason Jasmine felt upset when Rihan carried the girl to her bed, though she doesn't know why.

Rihan grabbed Cang Yue's wrist as he tried to sense her condition.

Sensing her life force, Rihan felt a relief, "Well, I think she is safe. She can definitely manage everything by herself," he then patted her head like an adult would normally do and was about to leave when the girls hand suddenly reached out, grabbing his sleeve. "Huh?"

Rihan couldn't help stopping in the middle of leaving to look down at the princess, he noticed her long eyelashes trembled as her beautiful eyes opened and stared at him.

Cang Yue observed Rihan from top to bottom, she was already awake earlier but decided to pretend unconcious as she was embarrassed as the crowd were watching them.

So this is the Nura Clan's Young Master, he is more than what rumours said he was.
