Playing with the "Devil"

In the Eastern skies of New Moon City.

As expected, seven silhouettes hovered in mid-air, they arrived at New Moon City wearing a black robe covering their appearance.

Five people among the group slightly shifted their gaze downwards and glanced at walls protecting the city…The moment they saw it's state a hint of disdain flickered within their emotionless eyes, they then retracted their gazes. The other two didn't even bother to look at the city.

there are seven people altogether, five of them is at the peak of Sky Profound Realm while the othet two has already has already reached the Emperor Profound Realm.

This sort of lineup would be enough to generate a huge uproar no matter where it appeared in Blue Wind Empire.

Especially the two people who reached the Emperor Realm. This strength was an ultimate existence that had sufficient enough power to compete with the title of the Blue Wind Empire's top experts.

The only reason that they came in this remote city, was because of the Heaven's Fate Clan who was destroyed by the Heavens for using their ability to see fate.

A year ago, a man who turned out to be a descendant of that clan appeared.

At first, everyone doubted his identity, but after proving himself in front of everyone on multiple occassions. Everyone has to know that only the Heaven's Fate Clan can read the stars and know the fate decided by the Heavens.

That young man has never been wrong in reading fates.

According to him, a great calamity would occur if the Blue Wind Ranking Tournament were to successfully end.

They were a bit skeptical, people of their status wouldn't normally come in a remote city especially not with a line up that they have.

Just as they were about to make their move towards New Moon Profound Palace, they noticed two silhouettes materialized.

"I'm sorry but I need all of you stay here with us." A young man sported a ponytail with right half of his face covered look at them without any fear apparent in his eyes.

Standing accross him is another young man of small stature, just his appearance alone would make anyone think that he is weak, yet for some reason, fierce aura was emanating from his body as if he was ready to kill anytime.

The aura oozing out from their body seems to distort the space around.

Wherever they go, they would always receive the looks of admiration or looks of terror from everyone, depending on how they act, but this two seems to be different.

The first one eyes looked extremely calm and within them he found hints of excitement, the other one seems to be extremely fierce as he kept on sending them a provoking smile.

The man who seems to be the leader waved his hands as six silhouettes appeared behind Gyuuki and Ddraig as they gave a loud warcry while fiercely looking at them.

Gyuuki simply ignored the fancy roar of those six men, and just slowly walked towards them step by step while holding the sword in his hand. The light sound of his steps was accompanied with huge pressure directed towards them, they felt as if their hearts were being trampled on as the fierce look in their eyes replaced by fear, the more they felt this emotion the stronger the pressure.

Gyuuki's shadow seemed to expand as it enveloped them.

The next moment, six decapitated heads flew in the air as blood splattered in all directions, " Now, now, fighting minions isn't really my thing so I would like you to come and stop wasting resources."

Gyuuki and Draig received a Crow messengers that was sent by Karasu Tengu arrive earlier.

'Nurarihyon-sama is on his way, we need you to hold back the enemy until we get there.'

A simple order yet it was filled with pressure. This is a mission that they can't fail.

"Why don't all of you come play with us? We shall accompany you for as long as you want." It was as if there was a giant reaper who appeared behind Gyuuki as his bloodlust covered their enemies.

Hearing Gyuuki, the face of the cloaked guy remained emotionless, his body was emitting a powerful aura which spread to the whole area, he pressured Gyuuki.

The latter took few steps forward, and stood in front of Ddraig, and blocked this aura. Gyuuki just coldly smiled, and said, "Want to have a go with me, Leader?"

The enemy didn't seem to be bothered by this provocation as he ordered one of his subordinate, "Ji Chen, How about you play with this guy? It seems like he needs to be taught a lesson."

A man named Ji Chen took a step forward and removed his cloak revealing an appearance of a man around thirty years old, and his face was tanned from long days of sun and covered in wrinkles. His black hair was long and unkept coupled with his black beard, and his dark eyes had a sharp look about them.

His overall appearance could mistake him as a Barbarian instead of a cultivator.

"Junior, you shouldn't be too proud just because you defeated our minions." His rough voice echoed as he appeared beside Gyuuki in an instant, a Giant Halberd appeared on his right hand as he hacked.

"Oya? A man of your age should have retire a long time ago." Gyuuki replied with a mocking tone as he vertically slashed.

Bam!

As Gyuuki and Ji Chen clashed, the dark clouds in the sky dispersed and the ambient temperature changed in their surroundings.

Shockwaves spread a thousand li upon impact!

"Not bad young man, but.." a huge amount of strength sent Gyuuki flying in the air. In terms of Profound Strength both of them are more or less the same, but when it comes to body power Ji Chen has the advantage, "You're still a hundred years early to compete with me!"

Without pause he went after Gyuuki and sent a kick on his abdomen slamming the latter to the Ground, blood splurted in his mouth as his body formed a large crater on the ground.

Ji Chen descended to ground as he grabbed Gyuuki's ankle and slammed him to the ground, fissure formed around as he continously slammed Gyuuki's body left and right.

"You actually dare to spout nonsense when you're this weak? How laughable." Ji Chen looked at Gyuuki's motionless body as he sneered in disdain.

"Indeed, how laughable. You just looked like a clown while talking with the air."

As Ji Chen heard those words, his face turned red in anger.
