Let Me Teach You

"We'll finish this in 5 minutes." Hannya said while looking at the Tyrant Beast.

Ddraig nodded as he released his bloodthirst, it seems like the Tyrant Beast noticed Ddraig's ill intention as it glared at his direction, Their gazes met, and Ddraig smiled coldly. The smell of gunpowder had already appeared between both parties, even though the battle hadn't even started yet.

They remained still for a moment..

"Partner, it seems like we're being looked down upon. Shall we release our true power?"

Ddraig tried to speak with Nozarashi.

After waiting for awhile, he didn't received any response, he only got the silent treatment which made him feel a bit embarrassed, good thing he only whispered or else he would have to find a hole and hide himself.

He could only shake his head and focused his attention back to his opponent.

Ddraig's eyes sharpened before he made his move, he let out a low roar, causing the sword on his right hand to shine. Under the strong undulations of his profound energy, an overflowing wave of red slash formed, which surges forward.

'Bang'

When Hannya's domain was activated it messed up with the beasts mental energy and affected it's reaction speed, which allowed Ddraig's attack to land.

The beast slammed it's fist on the ground out of anger and issued a pressuring roar before moving towards Ddraig.

Ddraig didn't retreat, but instead advanced. He instantly leaned his body downwards, while gathering a huge amount of profound energy around his feet to increase his movements.

While Ddraig was taking the attention of the Tyrant Beast, Hannya mumbled in low voice,"I am art thou.. Thou art I...The master of weak.. the devourer of strong.."

The moment those words were spoken, a change happened within his left eye..

Black silhouettes of crescent moon devouring the revolving sun " ●) " with a black and white dragon swirling at the edge appeared.

The world around him suddenly slowed down, his perception was heightened.

He can perceive minute details around him including the slightest movement or even the flow of the beasts profound energy.

He tried to extend his perception and was astonished when he realized some changes, unlike before he can now sense the situation from different angles which is extremely important for a supreme commander like himself.

While he was trying out his newly gained ability, he noticed 3 figures watching them from afar.

He zoomed in his view and saw three young ladies.

The two of them wore a snowy attire along with an ice silk veil that masked their appearance, only revealing a pair of ice-cold beautiful eyes, while the other one wore a scarf with a growth-ring pattern and a furisode with a butterfly motif along the hem and the bottom of the sleeves.

They were Setsura, Chu Yuechan and Chu Yueli, after they heard the Tyrant Beast issued a terrifying roar, they immediately dash to the source and found Hannya and Ddraig so they decided to watch.

Chu Yuechan and Chu Yueli always felt that Hannya is extremely strong, watching him in action can atleast help them estimate his hidden prowess.

Setsura on the other hand isn't worried at all. She could tell from the look of his beloved that a beast like this is beneath him.

While Hannya was observing the three of them, he heard an earth-shattering "Bang", the next moment, Ddraig's body was sent flying a few meters backwards. On the other hand, the Tyrant Beast remained unscathed.

Evidently, Ddraig was the one who suffered a loss during their consecutive bouts.

Although they were both beast that stood on top of the food chain, the difference in their cultivation is too high, if Hannya's domain wasn't activated, Ddraig would've lost in their first exchange.

Hannya is sure that Ddraig will be fine since he knew the latter, he isn't the type that would die easily, it's just that he felt a bit guilty for losing his focus.

"I should start getting serious or else that "guy" might try to take over."

The three people observing from afar noticed a dangerous aura coming out from Hannya, it was an extremely demonic aura that could make anyone standing close to him tremble in fear.

"But before that..."

Black smoke trailed around his feet, with a flash, his body disappeared from his initial position as he crossed several tens of meters and arrived a few meters away from Ddraig.

Hannya caught Ddraig and placed him on the ground.

"You sure are bold, to actually fight head-on despite the difference in strength."

On the other hand, Ddraig looked at Hannya with denial, "Hehe, you must be joking, there's no such thing as "difference in strength" in front of I, Lord Ddraig."

Too bad he didn't received a response since Hannya already disappeared before he could even finish his words.

The Tyrant Beast noticed a silhouette appeared in front, it didn't like the look of the other party's eyes as it was filled with arrogance and bloodthirst.

The beast was angered, it never experienced something like this before, the only emotion that it's prey showed in the past was fear.

It's eyes shone with anger.

Hidden within his anger, however, was fear. A deep sense of fear.

Negative emotions that came from the beast started to gather around Hannya while his prowess rose slowly.

"Let me teach you how to hunt a beast."

Hannya's enigmatic voice resounded as he beckoned at the beast to make a move.

The scene that followed startled Chu Yuechan and the rest.

The Tyrant Beast immediately charged forward. From it's viewpoint, Hannya was just a slightly arrogant ant that could be squashed anytime.

However, a sense of crisis appeared in it's heart the instant it charged forward.

It suddenly forced it's massive body to a screeching stop, causing the snowy land to tremble.

The Tyrant Beast noticed that a pair of black wings had appeared on Hannya's back, when looked at closely the beast noticed that it was made of black flames, an extremely terrifying flame. At the same time, black flames swirled around his left hand, it's appearance resembled that of a phoenix.

"So you can also sense danger? If you're not going to attack then I will make my move first or else I will be in deep trouble."

His silhouette suddenly turned illusory, and only leaving behind a few afterimages. The only thing that Ddraig and the other three onlookers from afar saw was a few black lights that flickered towards the Tyrant Beast.
