"You stop now, you die. Run, " one of the children warmed as he ran passed me. 

I considered running for my life. Without my light, I was useless to myself and to the girl that was captured. However, my heart refused to entertain the idea. 

I tapped the bracelets on my hands. Attempting to get in contact with Prince Zephirin and call for help. Without my light or any dark energy in me, there was no way to get a magical signal out to him. 

"Argh, help me! " the child cried out. 

My fingers shook as I struggled to think of a way to help her and myself. I looked up at the girl, she looked terrified. Fear ran down my spine. 

Something grabbed my arms and raised them in the air. Lifting me off the ground and to the sky. The image of the death of the three men flashed before my eyes. I couldn't believe this was how I met my end. At the hands of creatures, I couldn't see.
