Chapter 8- The Flashback Century
Ivan and Danny ended up having a heart to heart talk and the two shares each other's feelings. After they finished they went out the bathroom. The two of them talks as they walk inside the museum and into the rock collection.
Danny:
"Why'd you do that?"
Ivan:
"So I can mark my territory"
Danny:
"Territory? What territory?"
Ivan:
"I need to make sure, I know what's mine"
Danny:
"Wait, I'm not your fucking pet am I?"
Ivan:
"No, you're not my pet. You're just mine"
Danny:
"We're not together"
The two stopped talking as they see the museum secluded, they are immediately approached by a guard.
Danny:
"Have you seen a class somewhere?"
Guard:
"A class? All the guests have left minutes ago"
Danny:
"Oh ok thank you!"
The two immediately left the museum, they called for a cab to take them to the hotel. They arrived at the hotel and the time is already 10:30 pm. They proceeded to their room and order room service.
(Ivan closes the door and takes the foods)
Danny:
"What'd you order?"
Ivan:
"Nothin. Just chocolates, strawberries, fries, burgers and soda."
Danny:
"That's a lot"
Ivan:
"Don't worry I paid for it"
Danny:
"But I didn't want pay?"
Ivan:
"You didn't need to pay. It's on me"
Danny:
"Well thank you."
Ivan:
"You're welcome!"
(The room filled with silence)
Danny:
"So what did you mean back at the museum?"
Ivan:
"About what?"
Danny:
"About what you said?"
Ivan:
"Huh?"
Danny:
"That you're marking you're territory?"
Ivan:
"Ah. Well I just want to mark my territory that I own"
Danny:
"You didn't need to do that"
Ivan:
"Why not?"
Danny:
"Because I am yours from the beginning"
(Ivan smiles at him)
(Ivan kisses Danny filled with happiness)
Danny:
"What's that for?"
Ivan:
"For my love!"
Danny:
"You're crazy!"
(Ivan grabs Danny and the two lay down in the bed)
Danny:
"I wanna sleep"
Ivan:
"Then sleep, I am here by your side"
Danny:
"Nevermind, I wanna talk"
Ivan:
"About what?"
Danny:
"You said that your Dad killed your Mom?"
Ivan:
"Yeah why?"
Danny:
"But the fact that she survived doesn't mean he killed her?"
Ivan:
"But what you didn't know is that before they left the house. I saw them fighting and my Dad was drunk and hits my Mom a couple of times"
Danny:
"Ohhh....."
Ivan:
" I testified at the court and my Dad went to prison. For a lifetime"
Danny:
"I still don't understand why, I still can't sleep without knowing the full story."
Ivan:
"Fine. I'll tell you"
Ivan:
"I was 8 years old. My Mom and Dad has a rough relationship and often yell at each other in front of me. And if my Dad can't control his feelings, he hits my Mom. And one night, they where preparing to leave for my Aunt's wedding and before they left. The two of them started arguing about who should be driving because my Dad was drunk before they even started preparing. They left our house at around midnight, cause my aunt's wedding is supposed to be dramatic and is held at a garden at 3:00am. The next thing I know, the police starts knocking at my door and tells me that they were in an accident. I told them to bring me to my parents to see them and so they brought me with them at the scene and I saw my Mom still alive as they pulled her out the stretcher and took her to the ambulance. My Dad on the other hand is still drunk and was also placed in another ambulance because he was also injured so bad. I went inside the ambulance where my Mom is and we went to the hospital, while we were at the ambulance my Mom was speaking to me and telling me that I should be strong on my own from now on. I looked over at her injury and it is bleeding so bad, at that moment I know that she wouldn't make it. She said her goodbyes and I also said everything I wanna say. When we arrived at the hospital my Mom was dead. So she was ruled as "Dead on arrival" by the medical staff. 3 days later, I was at court telling the judge that my Dad killed my Mom."
Danny:
"I'm sorry, it must've been so difficult to see your Mom die in your arms and your Dad go to prison"
Ivan:
"Ever since then, I was alone and broken"
Danny:
"But I am here now!"
Ivan:
"But I we're not together"
Danny:
"You really have time to tell me that?"
(Ivan laughs)
Ivan:
"Anyway how about your family?"
Danny:
"Uhhh. I think it's best if we don't discuss it"
Ivan:
"You already know my family's weird history, why can't I know yours?"
Danny:
"If you must know!"
Ivan:
"Yeah?"
Danny:
"Ok. So before I started my freshmen year at the college, my Mom passed away because of cancer and my Dad abandoned me and left me money that I can only receive every month to support me. The first few months, I bought an apartment to live in at first I felt like I was alone in life, but then I started college and met Clara and Andy. Then, after 1 month of my mother's death I received a call from her lawyer telling me that I inherited 200 million from her company that she sold only to have money to support me in life. Ever since my mother's death. I haven't seen my Dad and I lived by myself supporting myself from the money they provided. That's why, I will take a part time job to support my lifelong needs."
Ivan:
"Why didn't you tell me?"
Danny:
"We only became close, 12 hours ago"
Ivan:
"Still you could've told me something?"
Danny:
"Well, you also didn't tell me about your Mom's death"
Ivan:
"HAHA. Well played"
Danny:
"I wanna go to sleep"
Ivan:
"Fine."
Danny:
"Goodnight."
Ivan:
"Goodnight"
(Danny closes his eyes)
Ivan:
"I love you."
