Chapter 8
Mariam woke up the next day due to a loud movie sound coming from the neighboring room .
She looked at the clock and realize that it's not yet 6am .
She hissed and got up from the bed , she wanted to go and shout at the person that is watching that loud thing but she assumed that the person will probably soon lower the volume .
She entered the exclusive toilet and bath . Mariam dressed up and was ready to pray yet she couldn't because the noise coming from the other room is so loud and irritating to her ears .
Mariam finally decided to go and talk to the person there , maybe the person will listen to her .
She put on a veil on her green cap and wore her favorite high heels before exiting her room .
She pressed her ear on room 407' s door to make sure that the sound is actually coming from the room and she was right .
Mariam wanted to break into the room forcefully and yell but every room here has a security lock which only opens with a card . She lightly knocked but she got no response, Mariam removed her high pointed heels and starts to Knock on the door with it .
The door swung open and the high heels mistakenly landed on the person's right cheek .
Mariam put her palm over her mouth in shock , she didn't expect to see Ahmad here .
"Sooooooo sorry ! Oh god " Mariam apologized as she stiffened a laugh . The expression on Ahmad's face is making it hard for her to resist her laugh .
There he stood , his palm on his cheek that's now dropping blood .
Mariam realized the seriousness of the situation when she saw blood dropping from his cheeks .
"Wha-ho-w what are you doing here ?! " Ahmad asked , his palm still on his right cheeks that's still bleeding .
" sorry sir , I promise you that it wasn't intentional " she apologized, afraid that he I'll sack her for being careless .
His blood kept on dropping and for a moment Mariam was confused that it didn't clot .
"Your blood should have clotted but now " Mariam said but Ahmad ignored her statement and called "Femi! " Ahmad shouted and a short looking man quickly appeared .
" I thought I told you not to put any one in the room close to mine ! " Ahmad shouted at the poor man who was staring at the floor as if he could not look up to meet Ahmad's angry eyes .
"So-sorry sir , I swear ..... All the other 1126 rooms are occupied and I had to give her the last room that's not occupied" Femi replied in an apologetic tone .
"Get out ! " Ahmad shouted at Femi who quickly turned and ran back to where he came from .
