A Story Told by a Nobody

There was once a nobody. He wasn't anything special, a mindless creature roaming around the black and lifeless surroundings, just like every other nobody.

There was only one thing special about this particular nobody. At some point another nobody had accidently kicked a pebble right into where the chin should be on the nobody. And that momentarily forced the nameless to look up. At that moment it learned something new, something that most nameless would never experience. It learned it could move it's head upwards. But it also learned something else. Something much more important. It learned that it could learn. And this life changing lesson it managed to produce multiple astonishing results.

It had learned to name a few: Head Upwards; Head Forward; Head Sideways; Arms Locked While Moving; Arms With Extra Swing While Moving; and more...

But it had also learned something else, something it was currently using with intense focus. Using a truly astonishing combination of Head Forward and Head Sideways it could look at other nobodies.

They really weren't much to look at. A black shape with four appendages, constantly moving around. However each of them had two unique things to each. Their "masks", and how exactly they used their four appendages to move. He saw a crowd of nobodies that seemed to be dragging three appendages and their bodies with only one appendage. It was clear that this group was merely formed because they were so much slower then the others, and had no other choice.

After all, just like everybody else they had to find other nobodies of similar speed to find a hope to struggle in the form of a "Death Squad".

None of us was sure why they were named as such, but he had a feeling it had to do with the main activities of these "Death Squads". Die when you are deemed to be needed to die, and so let the others survive. It was a simple concept to these nobodies. Unnecessary Death is Bad. Necessary Death is Necessary. Necessities Fulfilled is Good. They were happy to die for their DS("Death Squad").

However, he had not Lifted His Head for simple observations on how the world worked. No as a "Hobo" he had to evade dangers. As his walking speed created by the balancing act of using two appendages to hold up the rest of his body and alpendages was to rare, he had no DS to belong to. So he had to avoid the natural disasters that this unfortunate world was chock full of.

Aha, he had spotted one. The infamous "crevice", a common place trap, but not one that cam be disregarded for how common it is. Many nobodies' endless journies ended in the dark maws of this horrid trap. Glad his lessons let him avoid this great danger before the others who could only see from their downcast views, he quickly chose a path that let him avoid the damned "crevice".

Of course, many nobodies had fallen prey to this mighty inconvenience. He could only hope that future nobodies could use the stuggling bodies of this unfortunate few as stepping stones to cross this "crevice". May the Few give Service to the Many. A concept well respected among the many nobodies here.
