Get Out

After eating their bland canned food, Alex and Leo got up from the table and began to clear the plates. As Alex washed the dishes, he noticed that Leo had disappeared. He assumed that Leo had gone to find the bathroom, but when he finished washing up, he decided to explore the place a little further.

He wandered down a corridor and found himself in a room filled with an array of weapons. They were unlike any he had ever seen before - swords, daggers, and guns, all made of gleaming steel. He ran his fingers over the blades, feeling their weight and balance. He was particularly drawn to a saber that had a blade made entirely of a silver-like material. He reached out his hand for the hilt when a voice interrupted him, saying, "You can only take one weapon to use. You have thirty minutes left, spend them well." The voice belonged to the blue clown.

Alex was startled, and he turned around to see that the clown was standing behind him. The clown was dressed in blue, from head to toe, with a strange mask covering his face. Alex had never seen anyone like him before.

Leo appeared in the doorway, and Alex breathed a sigh of relief. He was glad to have someone with him, especially given the strange atmosphere of the place. Leo looked around the room, his eyes alighting on a magnum that was blueish in color with some parts made of silver. There were mysterious symbols on it, and Leo was captivated by its design.

"Which weapon should I choose?" Leo asked, still contemplating his choice. Alex was already certain of his pick, and he reached out and took the saber from its stand. He attached it to his belt, and he felt the weight of the weapon against his hip. He had a feeling that he would need it, although he couldn't say why.

Leo chose the magnum, attaching it to his waistband. He felt a sense of power as he gripped the weapon in his hand, and he admired its design. The symbols on the weapon seemed to glow in the dim light of the room, and he wondered what they meant.

As they left the room, Alex couldn't shake the feeling of unease that had settled over him. The weapons room had been impressive, but it had also been unsettling. He wondered what kind of person would have a collection like this, and why they would invite strangers into their home. Leo seemed unfazed, but Alex couldn't help but feel that they were walking into a trap.

Alex had on a change of clothes, looking sharp in a black long sleeve jacket, a crisp white shirt, cream pants, and a pair of brown leather shoes. He had managed to find the outfit in one of the rooms they had explored earlier, and it was a welcome change from the tattered clothing he had been wearing.

Leo, on the other hand, had not found much in the way of clothes in the previous room. However, when he entered the next room, he found a wardrobe filled with various outfits. After browsing through the options, he decided on a leather windbreaker, a gray shirt, brown pants, and a pair of black leather shoes.

As the blue clown disappeared, Alex and Leo were left alone in the room with their new coats and weapons. The coats were made from cheap wool, but they were warm and thick, and Alex and Leo put them on quickly. The coats would help keep them hidden, which was a good thing, since they had no idea what dangers lay ahead."cant believe he gave this to use" Leo said with a grim voice.

Leo looked at Alex's saber and asked him if he knew how to use it. Alex replied honestly, saying that he had no idea how to use the weapon. He knew that the saber was better than having no weapon at all, but he couldn't help feeling a little worried about his lack of experience with it.

Leo, on the other hand, was very comfortable with his magnum. He had poured some of his ether into the weapon, causing the mysterious symbols on it to glow with a faint blue light. He felt confident that he could handle whatever they might encounter.

Alex took out his saber and attempted to swing it a few times, but the slashes were weak and unbalanced. He looked like a kid playing with a stick, and he knew that he needed to get better with the weapon quickly if he was going to survive.

Leo noticed the worry on Alex's face and walked over to him, offering some advice on how to use the saber. He showed Alex how to properly grip the weapon and swing it with more force and precision. Alex listened carefully and tried to replicate the movements, slowly getting better with each swing.

As they waited for the door to open

.....

The window slid open, revealing a dimly lit shop on Dassi Street. A dense, heavy fog blanketed the outside, obscuring their vision. Leo and Alex peered through the window, watching as clowns roamed the streets, their movements eerily human-like. "If we go out there, we're going to get jumped," Alex muttered under his breath, and Leo nodded in agreement.

They waited for three long minutes, scanning the streets for any sign of danger. When they saw no clowns around, they cautiously made their way out the back way. Leo gripped his magnum tightly, the mysterious symbols on its surface glowing a faint blue, as if warning them of the danger that lurked ahead.

Alex held his saber tightly, though he felt no comfort from it. The two made their way back to the warehouse where the man in yellow had been, only to find him gone. Instead, there was a strange brown stump on the floor, which they avoided. As they explored further, they stumbled upon a corner filled with heavy chains, which they found to be peculiar. Upon closer inspection, they discovered a rusty door.

Leo lifted his left arm and held his magnum, the mysterious symbols on its surface glowing bright blue. He squeezed the handle, but no sound came from it. Instead, a faint blue light emerged from the weapon and shot the door handle, causing it to break off and the door to swing open. Inside, they found Audrey passed out on the floor. "This seems too easy," Alex said, and Leo agreed.

As Alex went to investigate the area, he found something even more bizarre—the signs on the building were backward. He called over Leo, and they both were puzzled by the strange occurrence. Suddenly, they heard a voice that sent shivers down their spines. "Your attempts to escape are futile. Your suffering will be eternal until you submit to despair. There is no escape from your fate. Accept it" The voice belonged to the man in yellow, but they couldn't locate where it was coming from. The two searched frantically for any sign of the man but found nothing.

His voice cracked as he laughed hysterically, as if he were watching a circus of clowns. In mere seconds, an army of clowns surrounded them, each holding a card - some had jacks, queens, and kings. Leo drew his Magnum while Alex readied his saber, preparing to fight.

Leo fired three shots, each leaving a faint blue trail as they found their mark on three clown heads. The bullets only damaged their masks. Alex rushed in, swinging his saber at a clown's head, but the clown dodged and countered with a palm strike to Alex's stomach. Alex was thrown back several meters before crashing to the ground. Leo quickly created a hand of water to catch Alex and launched him back at the clowns, unleashing a wave of bullets that hit several of them. Alex continued to slash at their heads, blocking their attacks with his saber. "I'm not that good of a swordsman," Alex thought to himself. "The only thing I know how to do is just swing around a stick." Despite managing to cut down a few of the clowns, more kept coming back for more.

"we can't keep going like this," Alex said, sweat pouring down his face. Leo looked just as exhausted.

"We need to clear a path and find the real warehouse," Leo yelled, his voice unsteady. Alex nodded in agreement. Leo fired five shots, hitting their targets. He then created a beam of water for Alex to ride, slashing at the waves of clowns. They fought for what felt like hours until they finally reached somewhere else in Dassi Street. Alex sheathed his saber, and Leo holstered his Magnum.

"We're safe...for now," Alex said, relieved to be away from the clowns.

"I didn't know you could turn into water," Alex said, looking at Leo with surprise.

"I never had to use it before. When we were trapped here, I tried to use it, but after dying eight times, I forgot about this ability. I guess I really needed that rest," Leo said, his voice growing faint before he collapsed to the floor. There was no blood, just exhaustion.
