Starting

'The more time passed, the more detached I became. I didn't have anything to hold on to. My life would have been great or at least normal, if only I had a goal that I can work my way to.'

'I started my search for someone to talk to, someone I can pour out my heart to, but as expected, my trust issues got the better of me.'

'Whenever I find someone that I can talk to, I put him through a kind of test, a test where I see if I tell him/her a secret, will they treat me differently, will they laugh or criticize me or will they gossip with other people about it.'

'I didn't find many people around me that I can test. The ones I found weren't more than ten, but they all failed one way or the other. Some tried to hide that they see me differently others take it as a joke. Surprisingly, no one gossiped about it. Which made me think that I might have been overthinking things too much, but what's done can't be taken back.'

'Now, you might be wondering why I'm saying all that. To be honest, I myself don't know, I just opened my eyes to find darkness everywhere around me. One thing about me that I developed due to being in too many accidents, is that I felt extremely uncomfortable and irritated in places I can't escape easily from.'

'While in the darkness, I found myself bored and started talking to myself which led to me thinking about where it all went wrong.'

*Sigh*

"It seems that it also failed this time." A sweet voice sounded in the distance.

"It seems so. How many times has it failed?" Another voice was heard. It sounded cold, but still can't hide their concern about the situation.

"We don't know, it's been too long since he decided to implement the plan, but we haven't had any success." A voice replied which seems to be filled with sorrow.

"It looks like we have to do it ourselves." The sweet voice said.

"But if we do that it will take a huge toll on our powers, we might even lose a huge chunk of it."

"Don't worry, if we succeed then it will be worth it. We owe him too much." The cold voice said.

'Who are these people? Why is it that they seem familiar to me, like we have known each other for a lifetime?'

"Then I take it you three all agree?" An authoritative voice was heard from afar.

"""Yes"""

"Then I too agree. Let us commence with our plan. We have to do everything in our power to complete it. This might be the last chance we will ever get, so do not foolishly think their might be another."

At that moment Norman was confused, he wasn't able to recall how he got here. His memories were all there, but he felt something was off and his instinct was never wrong.

"Let us begin."

A blinding white light could be seen. The white light seemed to be driving away all the darkness that was engulfing Norman.

"C'mon Norman, you promised you would play with me. Don't just go and wander with your mind alone. I will be very sad if you keep this up." *Humph*

A young melodious voice tried to shout, but the vocal cords of a child just made it sound cute.

Norman was still dazed, he wasn't able to wrap his head around what had happened. At first he found himself surrounded by complete darkness and didn't know how he got there. Then after a blinding light, he found himself in a green field

where a cute little girl was pouting.

"Noormannm~ Why are you like this?"

*Ack*

Norman tried opening his mouth to ask what was going on, but a severe headache took over his brain which made him pass out.

"Norman Norman, wake up. Don't try to escape by pretending you're injured. It won't work. Hey, enough of that. I will complain to your mother."

This was the last thing norman heard before blacking out.

The little girl could then be seen running towards a building in the distance with tears in her eyes.
