Rescue

Madam Life, riding her carpet, strode straight to the North. She didn't even go sideways, and magically, she passed through the walls that gets in her way.

After 5 minutes of the speedy ride, Madam Life saw a barren mountain. Trees of the color brown and black appeared on her eyesight. The mountain looked dead. At the bottom of the mountain, she saw a group of men and women clad in armors going uphill.

"Tsk, they are slow as ever."

She did not waste her time on them and immediately ascended the mountain on her carpet.

"Virgin selling pirates, you fuckers, I only left for a month and you shitty ass waste of oxygen got into operation again. I'll surely kill your boss today."

In a haste, she reached a makeshift building made of raw cement. She didn't enter immediately but ascended to the skies having the building beneath her.

"Life scan, Organisis."

Her eyes glowed milky green. In her vision, she saw multiple red humanoid figures in the building. On the 3rd floor, a group of muscular men is sitting on a round table. On the 2nd floor, a group of skimpily clad women is also around a table seemingly just goofing. The first floor has only five men on it. And, the basement, has about 20 small figures huddled together while occasionally trembling.

"With my new spell, none of you will be able to flee like before."

"Organisms have life. Life brings joy and sorrow. Death makes its end. And put all to rest. But death brings pain, and pain of eternity I shall bestow you at this moment. Thousand thorns, Krishia!"

Suddenly, those red humanoids in her vision had their body shivering for a moment, but then,

*Pang!* *Pang!* *Pang!*

Multiple thorns protruded from inside-out of their body. Those men and women from the first floor to the third floor have their bodies looking like a porcupine stained with fresh red blood.

After a few moments, Madam Life saw those red humanoids in her vision slowly recede in color, until they just become an empty gray husk resembling that of humans.

She deactivated her spell and entered the building. She got to the basement and forcefully opened the cages with her bare hands.

"M-Madam?" a young-looking girl muttered tearfully after seeing Madam Life

"Yeah, it's your mommy, Roanna," Madam Life said with a smile on her face.

"Mom!" The crying girl hurriedly run and embraced the imposing figure.

"I'm so scared, Mom!"

"They said that we'll be sold tomorrow... If you haven't come today, I'm afraid, that I'll... *sniff* commit... *sniff* suici–"

"That's enough Roanna. I have come, right? Don't think about it anymore, okay? Everything is fine now. Just be careful in your adventures next time, okay?"

"Yes, mom. Can I stay at home for a while?"

"Of course you can, anytime, silly girl"

"Hehehe~" The young girl laughed lovingly while holding Madam Life.

"Let's go home" Madam Life said while caressing the girl's head.
