Chapter 4: The King...

After freeing the women, me and Alice started to make our deeper into the cave. I was holding a dagger Alice had hidden under her shirt. While she was still holding the axe. The way through the tunnels was quiet neither me or Alice said a word. A couple of times I would catch her looking back at me for a moment before looking away.

On the way I could see skeletons of humans. Some still fresh with rotting flesh while others were nothing but bones. As I continued to stare I felt a hand press against my chest. I looked up to see Alice standing still. I listened and could hear voices down the tunnel. Alice immediately killed her torch, and we were engulfed in darkness.

I felt Alice grab my hand and guid me through the darkness. "How can you see?" I whispered I heard her chuckle, "I'll tell you later." She pulled me along until eventually we saw a large room and in the middle was a large group of goblins. A large bonfire was going and the smell of meat met my nose. I watched as a larger goblin appeared from behind the bonfire. Standing up to my height he had large muscles and scars all over his body. He had long black hair in a ponytail, and wore thick metal armor. On his back was a massive battle axe that was covered in scrapes.

"That's the King." Alice pointed star the large goblin, "He's worth about one-hundred golden coins." I watched as the "King" moved through the goblins and grabbed a large leg from the fire. I get my blood run cold as I gazed at the meat in his hand. It was a human leg charred to black. The King opened his mouth to reveal large sharp yellow teeth. He took a large bit and ripped the flesh from the bone. The sight made my stomach churn.

"Are you ready?" I frowned and looked at Alice, "What?" She smiled and suddenly sprinted forward the goblins were caught unaware as Alice swung her axe, decapitating a goblin with his back turned. The goblins cried in shock as Alice began chomping limbs from bodies. I charged after her feeling adrenaline pump through my body. The first goblin I came across was to busy staring at Alice. I rammed the dagger into the side of his head, and rammed my foot into another goblin who had turned toward me.

I pulled my dagger free, and slammed the pommel end into another goblins temple. The goblins eyes became bloodshot before rolling to the back of its head. I jumped to the side as a goblin threw a spear past my face. I returned the favor by throwing my dagger at the goblin the blade piercing his forehead. Another goblin stabbed at me but I caught it and rammed my fist into its face bones breaking underneath.

I heard Alice grunt and I turned around to see her flying back. The King goblin standing in front of her his axe in his hands. I ran forward and threw my spear at the goblin. He dodged the throw but I ran forward and brought my knee upward hitting the goblin in the nose. He gave off a grunt of pain before slamming a fist into my stomach. I felt the pain resonate through my body and blood erupted from my mouth.

I fought against the pain and felt anger boil inside me. With a roar I jabbed my thumb into the goblins eye my thumb vanishing in his socket. The goblin roared in pain and bite into my leg his teeth tearing my flesh. I hammered my right fist against his head while pushing my thumb deeper. The goblin shook me around clawing at my back and ripping my shirt from my body.

I wrapped my other arm around his head and without a thought I bite into his neck. My teeth sank into his rough skin and I could taste blood in my mouth. I yanked my head back and felt his flesh tear from bone. At this point anger had taken over and I the only thought running through my head was one word.

(KILL...)

I grabbed the goblins ear and ripped it off blood spraying my face.

(KILL!KILL! KILL!KILL! KILL!KILL! KILL!KILL! KILL!KILL! KILL!KILL! KILL!KILL! KILL!KILL! KILL!KILL! KILL!KILL! KILL!KILL!)

I yanked my thumb from it's eye and slammed my fist across his face. There was a loud crack and the goblins head flew to the side. I didn't stop. I jumped off and wrapped my arms around his waist. With a roar I lifted the goblin over my head and slammed him into the ground. The goblin gasped and looked at my with fear in his one eye his jaw hanging loose. I slammed my fist down onto his face I could feel bones crack underneath. I continued to rain punches my only goal was to kill.

At one point I heard someone yell, but I ignored it and continued my onslaught. Then a pair of arms wrapped around my stomach and I spun around ready to kill whoever it was. Thats when I saw the familiar auburn color hair. I could feel my heat thumping in my chest and my breathe was ragged. I gazed back down at the goblin and I felt a chill go down my spine. It's face was caved in with blood splashed everywhere. I lifted up my hands and saw my whole arms caked in blood. I suddenly felt exhausted and before I knew it I was falling into unconsciousness.
