It started with the fog that had appeared within the Forever Fall forest, and at first, no one had thought anything of it. Then the giant Godfrey appeared, with his legion of exiled soldiers. One would think the reasonably advanced cultures of Remnant wouldn't have had any trouble with the invader. Only he had come with glintstone sorcerers, yet more exiles courtesy of Queen Marika. All the Atlas dreadnoughts in the world couldn't withstand the tidal wave of meteors, lasers, and Fire. Godfrey's invasion was swift and total. The rebels of the United Peoples of Remnant have suffered defeat after defeat and all hope is lost. While Ozpin sets out to help the rebels blend into the people under the rule of Emperor Godfrey, James Ironwood who's moral has been crushed by the war traverses the fog. In search of lost friends and knowledge, little does he know he will find much more then that in the Lands Between.
