Sachi caught up and immediately used her Palm bottom technique to try and hit the Jonin, but the man twisted his torso at the right time, letting her attack miss my a mere inch.

As he did so, he made sure to keep his balance right and immediately used his superior strength to push Taka away. Using the momentum, he leaned backwards and used his hand to do a cartwheel.

Right after, he kicked Sachi straight in the face and made a few hand signs.

Wind Release: Great Breakthrough!

He inhaled the air around him and blew it all out with the assistance of his chakra, creating a powerful pushing force that uprooted the bushes and grass nearby. It also pushed Taka and Sachi away, helping him create distance and also deal a significant damage to his targets as they rammed into objects.

Kira saw Taka hit a nearby tree and Sachi fly straight to the horses that were pulling the caravan. He then glanced at Raichi, only to see him standing in one place, unmoving like a rock.

This made him click his tongue as he grabbed a few shuriken from his hip bag and threw them at the jonin in front.

Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu!

As the shuriken multiplied, he grabbed six kunai that had 20 explosive tags attached to each one of them.

The jonin on the front, saw the shuriken fly towards him and was ready to simply dodge them, but when he saw them multiply and reach hundreds in numbers, he panicked and immediately used another jutsu to counter Kira.

"Earth Release: Earth Style Wall." he muttered and placed his hand on the ground, creating a wall in front of him.

Kira's shuriken clone technique was a single direction attack. It could attack multiple targets at the same time, but it didn't travel in different directions. Due to this, all of his shuriken got stuck in the earth wall and was perfectly countered.

Seeing this, he put he explosive tag kunai back in his bag and took out more shuriken. He made a plus sign with is hands and five clones appeared around him with six shuriken ready to fire.

They immediately ran around the earth wall and took over positions where they could surround the Jonin, but when they walked past the wall , they couldn't see the Jonin behind it.

Instead, there was a hole on the ground. Kira panicked and hurriedly looked at Sachi, "Sachi! Use your byakugan and look below you. He's somewhere underground."

Listening to his instructions, she immediately used her dojutsu and saw the jonin quickly rushing towards Taka's direction. She didn't understand why he was going towards Taka, but she still relayed the information to Kira.

"Tch." he clicked his tongue and threw a marked kunai towards Taka before teleporting to him when it was right before his face. He grabbed his teammate's shoulder and teleported back to the top of the caravan where he had left one of his marked kunai.

While his shadow clones waited for the jonin to come out of the ground, he placed his hand on Taka's body and sensed multiple rib fractures. He was pretty good at medical ninjutsu, but healing an injury that involved fractures would take him a few minutes.

A frown formed on his face as he glanced at Sachi. He could tell that she was running out of chakra and after a minute or two of continuous usage of her byakugan, she would also be out of combat.

"Haaaa.... so annoying." he said as he looked up at the sky, trying to calm himself down before turning to look at Raichi.

"Sensei, are you still not going to take action?"

Raichi looked up at him, "Do I have to? You can still fight."

"Fine."

Saying that, he jumped off the caravan and landed on the ground beside Sachi. He placed his hand on her shoulder and said, "It's fine, there's no need to keep track of him anymore."

Without waiting for her response, he threw a kunai towards the hole behind the wall and used his flying raijin while it was still in the air, teleporting a few meters above the hole.

Swip swip swip swip, he made multiple hand signs as he got close to the ground and just when he was about to land, he inhaled a lot of air and puffed up his chest.

Raichi who was a Uchiha easily recognised the jutsu as it was one of the many jutsus that put an Uchiha above the rest in fire release.

'The great fireball jutsu... unlike the regular fireball, it consumes a lot of chakra and even I can only use it around ten times a day. To think that a genin can do it... looks like I have to reconsider Kira's role in this team.' he thought as he saw a huge ball of flames shoot out of Kira's mouth and fly into the hole in the ground.

Sachi and Raichi could feel the heat even though they were quite a few meters away from Kira. As for Taka, the poor guy was knocked out cold.

One second, two seconds, three seconds and so on, the time slowly trickled by as the heat in the surroundings grew. The ground began to crack as it lost it's moisture, slowly spreading outwards until Kira finally stopped spewing out flames.

Panting, he turned to look at Sachi, "Check if he's still down there."

Sachi nodded and did as she was told before shaking her head, "I don't see any chakra signatures and there's also no body there..."

"No body... did he escape?" Kira asked, frowning as he turned to look at the hole in front of him.

"No he didn't." Raichi said as he grabbed Taka and tossed him into the caravan, "He should've turned into ashes by now."
