Break Logic *Jazz Hand*

After a while the platform the class had settled onto started floating down like a ski lift. Ishtar did some weird chant then looked pleased at the surprise from everyone in the group. As they all descended down through the clouds Hōhei got a little curious about the book. So thinking about how the creatures within are always paying attention he started a conversation with them.

Akuma: 'So you guys are Chimera's right? Then who has helped me so far if it's okay to ask.'

????: 'Well that's pretty simple our resident weapon summoner Vargis Lorch. She usually loves pulling a fast one on people, even us during poker as well. Next up is Bemo the resident gaming nerd beyond belief that is basically a living game system. Then that knowledge on transmutation was from the craftsmen which there's a lot of them. The one who helped the most though was Haven one of your old Protogen chimera's you made because, you decided you needed some cute little murder crafters. Me? I'm Trial, the novelist Chimera. It's nice to formally meet you.'

Akuma: 'What the fuck is a protogen and why cute murder crafters? What are most of you like, scary men or something?'

Trial: 'That is sadly the case with most of us looking rather dangerous or something like that. With that as a problem you made a team of well cute murder craftsmen after an old friend suggested using the strange creature. Haven you made her a chimera of a Protogen, Vincentius a dangerous undead lord, a Phoenix, and an Oni. She kept the cute Protogen look but, is a ruthless fire arms expert with a good skill set for mass genocide.'

Akuma: 'Old me sounds like he had problems but I don't remember those exactly so oh well. Guess mass destruction was the theme though?'

The only answer to that question was just a book purring happily as his answer. Then again in most things Chimera's are known to be very destructive. Although he could've sworn he saw teeth appear as the book almost grinned at him. He really wanted to slap the book for that since it sent shivers down his spine a bit. Tempted to ask another question he was interrupted by the platform lurching to a stop. Looking around they had stopped somewhere connected to a castle with Ishtar ushering everyone off. Getting up he followed the rest of his class into the castle under Isthar's guidance.

While Ishtar walked through the castle like he owned it all, Hōhei asked Hajime what the kingdom was called again. Since he didn't listen to anything Ishtar said if he even said anything at all.

"Ishtar said it's the Heiligh Kingdom when Kouki asked about it....."

"Thanks I didn't really pay attention on the ride, the clouds had my attention."

At that random excuse Hajime had a wry smile since it's a very likely situation given his attitude towards this all. While the two walked in the back of the group they reached a door guarded by two soldiers who pushed the door open upon seeing their group. As they entered the room Hōhei and Hajime took in the sights and studied the people in the room.

From the door the typical red carpet appeared leading from the entrance all the way to the obvious luxurious throne. On the throne sat a middle aged man that conveyed ambition and dignity. Everyone had stopped just before the throne and waited there patiently. Off to the side of the throne was a woman, that seemed to be the queen. Next to her was a 10 year old boy with blonde hair and blue eyes, an obvious brat to Hōhei. A 15-16 year old girl that was admittedly pretty was next to him, and there was a small 7-8 year old girl who held her hand as she accompanied the older girl.

The sides just held aging old men just on the military side, everyone looked more healthy. The civil officers had a few plump like men that made Hōhei wonder if they tasted good if bit. While he had strange thoughts Ishtar walked up to the king, presented his hand to the king, and smiled as the king kissed it. This scene made Hajime feel more distress while Hōhei almost pulled a gun out to attack the old pope. One now has confirmed the country is all about following "God's Will" and that raises some problems. While the other has had some grievances with religion for sometime, add in the Chimera's natural displeasure for things like this.

Leads to him having zero trust really for the place and wanting to escape over time. Holding back such feelings though Hōhei stayed with everyone for now to learn the situation better. After being led to enjoy a rather nice dinner from this world, everyone was then led to their own luxurious room. Upon entering his own room Hōhei checked everything just in case, even the walls for tunnels.

Although he did find one it was likely an escape passage, once pleased he tapped the passage sealing it for now with transmutation. After that he had slept holding Seeker ready to blow out an intruder's brains. The night was rather uneventful though.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next morning after waking up and hiding his gun like some sort of gangster, Hōhei wondered about today's objective. As he wondered about it a knock came from the door, opening the door revealed a knight. Wondering why a knight was at his door, he certainly didn't murder someone yet, he hazily remembered something about knights and training being mentioned. That's as far as he remembers while he wolfed down his food like a savage.
The knight mentioned something about training and to follow so he did since this could be interesting. Well as interesting as watching paint dry because Kouki will be there. Probably chanting justice, justice this, justice that as he enforces his will onto the class. 'Should shoot Kouki in the dick.' With that thought as he followed the knight they eventually arrived at training grounds.
After arriving at the training grounds likely used for knights to train for the upcoming war and such. He saw the rest of his class with knight commander Meld Loggins as he handed out some small silver plates (12cm x 7 cm) like the one Hōhei got yesterday. The students looked at the plates curiously and with a bit of wonder as thoughts raced through their minds. When he had arrived Meld tried to offer him a status plate but Hōhei just held up the one he already had. Seeing this Meld just nodded and looked at everyone before starting his explanation.
Meld: "Okay, did everyone get one? These plates are called Status Plates. Literally, these plates will show your stats and status. The plate also serves as an identification card. As long as you have this, you cannot get lost, so don't lose it."
With a carefree way of speaking Meld explained the status plates to everyone. If you listened to him and saw how he was acting right now before their group. You could see he was the open-hearted type of person that already saw them as comrades in war. So he skipped being formal entirely and was just being very friendly with them. Though everyone felt weird with such a lax manner of talking towards an elder, Hōhei just chuckled pleased with not having to choke on being formal.
Meld: "There are some magic cravings on the plate. I will make a small wound with a needle on your finger, just drip a drop of your blood onto that magic formation. Then the owner of that plate will be registered. If you say "Status Open", the plate will display you your stats. Ah, have you never heard of such a thing? I didn't know that. This is a kind of artifact from ancient times. "
Kouki: "Artifact?"
Kouki asked the question because he, like everyone not an otaku or game nerd, was not familiar with the word.
Meld: "This artifact is a powerful tool that cannot be reproduced with modern means. It is said that they were created when God and his family still roamed this land. The status plate is one of the artifacts he left behind that cannot be reproduced. It usually would be called a national treasure rather than an artifact, but it is distributed to the general public. Because it is a very convenient ID card. "
As Meld tried to prick Hōhei he just held up the long activated plate. With a playful grin he spoke to Meld in a friendly manner openly before everyone. The knight commander chuckled at the young man.
Akuma: "I got mine yesterday after asking since this is basically a fantasy world I had to check. I bit my tongue and licked it after I was alone and I must say I'm pleased. My status plate may break your logic though old Meld haha!"
Meld looked at him confused so he handed Meld his plate. Meld looked stupidly at it while Hōhei grinned widely and did a jazz hand. Meld handed the plate back after checking it over once more.
Once everyone had their status plate activated Meld clapped his hands getting their attention.
Meld: "Did everyone see? Let me explain. First, let's go over "level". The level will increase if you get an increase in stats. The max level for a human is 100. In other words, the level shows the base and potential that a human can reach. When you reach level 100, then you have achieved the potential of humans. It is very rare for someone to reach that though."
Unlike games, leveling up does not mean getting extra stats in the case of everyone here. Unless you cheat.
Meld: "Your stats can be raised by training, magic, or magical tools. Also, someone with a high magic stat allows other stats to increase faster. Although we don't know the whole detail, it is believed that magical power somehow assists the physical body to improve.
Afterwards, look forward to the gear we selected for you. After all, you are the heroes. The national treasury is being used to supply you!"
Raising his hand Hōhei spoke up, getting Meld's attention.
Akuma: "I already got weapons. I need a team for my second half and the best materials to create an arm."
Meld: "Ah yes that will be arranged! But weapons? I only see one… weapon."
Akuma: "Can't show everything."
Meld chuckled at this nodding his head before moving on. All together from what has been said, just because you kill a demon or monster does not guarantee your stats will go up. The stats will improve steadily with practice and experience. So this isn't really like a game, this is more real life more than anything, you have to train for your stats to increase.
Meld: "Next we are going to cover "Class". Simply this is the talent you have. The skills you have at the end of your status is directly linked to the class you have. People who have a class are rare. The classes can be divided into two categories: combat classes and non-combat classes. A combat class only shows up in 1 out of 1000 people with classes. Non-combat class only shows up in 1 out of 100 people. Out of those non-combat jobs there are about 1 out of 10 that have an extraordinary class. Most of the people in non-combat classes have manufacturing classes."
Meld looked at Hōhei a bit before continuing and asking to see everyone's status plates. Hajime got bullied by Hiyama Daisuke for being completely average and having a crafting class. Poor Hiyama didn't expect an elbow body slam to the back of the head though while bullying Hajime. Hōhei was seen running at him and jumping into the air with his elbow ready. All before elbowing him the back of the head followed by a body slam, Hiyama croaked like a deflating frog. Everyone looked at the sudden violent act questioning the abrupt need to violently hit the class thug.
Kouki tried to intervene but got met with a foot to the face with a disgusted looking Hōhei glaring. After causing sufficient problems though he chuckled and left the area to go train alone, with a cheshire grin as he left. Aiko-sensei tried to cheer up Hajime but she only made him act soulless in depression. Meld and his knights made a mental note of the group as a whole after what just happened.
'One person is bullied a lot, one is truly a hero that will help us survive the war... one is just random and prone to violently attacking if displeased. Going really need to keep these kids on track and not attack each other randomly so much.'
~~~~~~

Off elsewhere Hōhei was standing looking at a sign near a road. A group of rugged men approached him thinking he'd be an easy mark. As one reached to grab his shoulder Hōhei suddenly spun around with Seeker in hand. Squeezing the trigger he blew the man's brains out onto the road. The others, momentarily stunned by this sudden violence looked confused until he touched one of them with his weapon. Sparks emitted from the gun before the man being touched had his head rupter from blood vessels being transmuted.

Akuma: "Two dead, ten to go."

With a sly grin Hōhei eyed a third man before shooting one of his knees out. The man yelped in pain that lasted only a second before he met his end with a kick to the head. A bloody earth knife sticking to the sole of the teens shoe. Falling over with the knife in his head the rest of the men came to. Some drawing swords and some beating their fist together. The teen looked at them with a small smile, his gun already ending a fourths life. A shot to the heart with a flaming round cooking him from the inside out.

???: "Kid your fucked up… you didn't even hesitate to attack us!"

Akuma: "Why should I? You're armed and look like you wanted me for something. So best to just kill you now. First time killing and it feels amazing by the way! So please die. All of you."

His words made the men flinch which he capitalized on and transmuted earth spikes into being. The spikes of earth impaling two men up the ass and out the mouth, they gurgled blood with slight twitching before dying. Six dead, six bodies to add to the toll. Running at one of the men, Hōhei kicked him in the nuts before shooting a chunk out of his neck. Gun muzzle already against an eights head before firing, sending the body to the ground. Side stepping a sword swing and backing up to the left he avoided a fist.

Transmutation happened simultaneously, earthen spikes impaling the men through the stomach and mouth. All would be thugs dead, Hōhei rolled his shoulder before transmuting the area to swallow all evidence. With that he would check his Status Plate since that was training.
