Talent showcase Day two

"Alright, I know you're tired Babe. Go sleep." But he lied on top of her.

"Get off me!" She squirmed under the sheet. It might be a joke to him, but his body was igniting her.

"Hmm, what? I can't hear you." He went on teasing her. She bit his arms to get him off her. But it tickled Hash, made him laugh even more, and clung tighter.

"Alright, alright. You're tired. We have a long day tomorrow, so sleep." Hash got off the bed because he knew she needed rest. She's still a patient and couldn't have too much stress.

"Where are you going?" She sat on the bed and grabbed his hand.

"Shower, will you join me?" He was kidding, but she nodded vigorously again. He shook his head, then went to his bath. She was about to stand to join him. Hash's jaw drops, shook his head again unbelievably.

"No, you stay." He gestured his index fingers towards her.

She was going to re-but. However, Hash interrupted her.

"Uh-uh. Go on, sleep now." He nuzzled her shoulders down, pulled the covers up to her neck.

Isabel couldn't have the chance to protest. Whenever she attempted to say anything, Hash would shake his head and stop her with "Uh-uh" simultaneously.

"I'll be back, okay?" Her eyes were wide and still tried to oppose him. He was gesturing his index fingers towards her, a commanding posture for her to stay while shaking his head. Then left the room.

He had no idea that this concern would be exclusive to Isabel and no other. He purposely stayed in his bath for a couple of hours, even if his skin was already wrinkly.

He only went out when he felt too cold. He walked back in. Sheets were already on the floor. Isabel was occupying the entire bed, drooling. Hash joined her in the bed after he puts on his clothes.

She must have felt cold, hands reaching for a blanket, but found his body instead. She squeezed herself in his, putting her legs over his hips. Hash inhaled a lot of air and then exhaled intermittently so he can relax his pulsating stamina.

The next day. Isabel woke up feeling disappointed not seeing Hash in the room. A servant got in and informed her of the schedule of the competition.

"Where's Lo?" She saw an unfamiliar face serving her today.

"Lo is in the Palace setting up all you needed, My Lady." She nodded, satisfied with what the girl informed her. She took a shower and let the servants do their job on her while she enjoyed her breakfast.

At the Palace grounds. Everyone was all there except Isabel. She's in the meantime having her fried eggs and a platter of fruits. An anxious contestant was done practicing her stance.

Lady Mau was impatient, wanted to show Prince Hashim what she had been preparing for. He hadn't given her a single glance ever since she went back.

Hash, who was quietly sitting beside the king, heard the prime minister complaining. He was the father of Lady Gwin, wanted the competition to start.

"Do you think we can disqualify contestants, your majesty?" He did not look at Hashim, but directed his question to King Desmond.

The king shook his head. The King stared at Hash, his brows furrowed, eyes asking him silently, where was Isabel? Hash shrugged his shoulders, pretended he didn't care.

"Are you trying to eliminate your daughter's competition?" He asked the minister nonchalantly, did not take his question seriously. King Desmond knew that his son liked that strange girl. He had to pacify his temperamental son while being nice to his subjects.

Being an excellent politician was sometimes stressful. He wiped his sweat unconsciously.

Hash, on the other calls out his maids using his index and middle finger. Lo, and the other girl rush in front of him. The servants lowered down their ears to hear their master's low voice.

"Where is your mistress?" He whispered sharply on both his maidservants' ears. His head wanted to explode right now.

"S-she was still sleeping when we left, your majesty." Lo's voice was trembling, answering Hash's question. Hash ground his teeth and swallowed his own saliva.

"Have someone call for.." He saw Isabel just came in, so he stopped talking. She looked pretty, clean, and fresh, while everyone was already sweating and stale. Hash rise and called everyone's attention.

"The competition officially starts now." Then he returned to his seat. No one announced the first contestant, but Lady Gwin volunteered. She's already in the middle of the field, stretching the arrow string, ready to shoot the target.

While Lady Gwin was so enthusiastic about his performance, Hash's eyes meet Isabel's.

"Did you sleep well?" His throaty voice crept in Isabel's ears, made her whole body tingle.

"Yep, until I didn't see you in the room." She curved her mouth down, making her looked like an exaggerated sad duck emoji. Isabel could hear his chuckle and saw his shoulders move too.

"Lady Gwin is hitting the marks," Lo called her attention, pointing at Lady Gwin's arrows on the mark. Isabel gave Lo an impish grin, shook her head, and said.

"Don't worry. I'm going to let them explode today." Patted Lo's shoulders and let out an evil laugh.

The girl's eyes widened and, convinced that her mistress had lost it. She tried catching Hash's eyes again, but he was momentarily busy staring at Lady Gwin. Was he considering Lady Gwin? Isabel's eyes narrowed.

"Wait! How many wives will the prince take?" She momentarily lost her focus on either Hash and the competition.

"My Lady. Technically, all of you his wives." Lo confidently answers, but Isbel's nostrils are expanded like an angry bull.

"What do you mean?" She probed Lo while staring at Hash angrily.

"That you're all his wife now technically. Only that you're c-competing for the crown princess position." Seeing her reaction, Lo's voice is slowly fading into the background. Isabel searches Hash's eyes again, looking stern. When their eyes meet, she confronted him through their mind.

"Is it true that we're all your harem?!" Her high pitch screaming voice is irritating Hash's eardrums.

"Ouch! What the F-!" He felt temporarily deaf.
