Hundred Year Trial
Dygo looked down at the artifact he had in his hand. He no longer knew how long he had been stuck in this unforgiving landscape. The bitter cold had turned from an enemy to a silent friend. He had finally found the Snow Elephant Tribe and began his trial.
Some of them dubbed it the Hundred Year Trial because of how difficult it was to complete. Many lost their lives trying to accomplish it. The beginning was unforgiving and there were times he wanted to give up.
He lifted his hand to touch the object he had kept close to his chest. The enchanted lava garnet that Vy had given him saved his life. If it had not been for it, coupled with the resistance to the cold he built over time, Dygo would have been a goner.
After meeting Vyrena on the Skollwood, they made a promise to one another. Dygo had a goal to work towards. That was the only thing keeping him alive. Once, he fell into the snow. He could feel his life force slipping away.
