The Elemental Council had reported that Elemental Master Gi Moon was found dead in the Hall of Elements, two days before the Hunter's return to Dominion. Hye Seong was at his family's ancestral home when his niece warned him that Master Seong Hwan was there to see him.
It was always an honor to be visited by a master, and even more so by a Council Member. The Hunter wondered if the topic of conversation was the mortal woman or the death of one of the Members of the Council of Five. But to his surprise, the haughty elemental master had a feverish and anxious look when they met,
"'Shin', is she okay?"
"Yes, she is, Master Seong Hwan," the Hunter felt the anxiety building in his chest. The usual methodical and calm person wasn't acting normally. A faint smile tinted the beautiful face, now pale.
"I need your help again. Gi Moon sent a Hunter after Ye Jin. Gi Moon, the bastard, had too much spare time and had me spied on."
