Done sulking?

Ivo put out his cigarette too, smudging the wall with black ash. He kept grinding away at the cigarette butt to cover up the fact he had nothing to say. It had nothing to do with him, so why was he feeling flustered all of a sudden?

Something like that shouldn't leave him at a loss for words.

"Right, that makes sense," he said, after there was nothing left of his cigarette but the filter. "At least you learned your lesson."

Davi nodded absent-minded, worrying at his lip with his teeth. "Let's go, we should try to catch the metro before the morning rush hour."

They walked to the station in silence. The train was almost empty, and they sat facing each other in a carriage with only one other person, a man sleeping drunkenly across four seats.

Davi was looking out into the speeding dark walls, occasionally splattered with a dash of colour from the cans of ambitious street artists, when he suddenly sat up straight.
