Davi knew they were in deep shit. He knew it the moment Vice came out of that room looking like he'd seen a ghost.
He didn't know if Rodrigo had caught them or if their luck was just shitty, but he wasn't going to hang around to find out.
He reached behind to grab hold of Vice's wrist and pull him along as he shouldered his way past Rodrigo.
The feeling of something cold and round pressing against his ribs stopped him still.
"Where do you think you're going?"
Rodrigo was holding the gun inside the pocket of his smart, arrow collar suit jacket. Anyone who was looking at him wouldn't even know what he was doing. But Davi felt the bite of the gun's muzzle even through two layers of clothing.
Vice noticed too. He went stiff and reeled Davi back into the apartment.
