NECRO-Driver Dawn EP 32: Passion of a Pitying Roux

Narrator: Jin and Lady Shirina have finished their fight, and are both exhausted. Shenrei has taken Lalah to receive medical attention, while Graves alone stands to face Jin. With Baron and Ayumi still trolling, it's up to Jin to hold Graves off until help gets there. But with his power just about gone, things are very bad for Jin. Graves: That attack you did against Lady Shirina was pretty good. But now I've seen it, and I know how to counter it. So, what's it gonna be Jin?

Jin: (This isn't good, that attack took just about everything I had in me. I won't be able to keep going much longer…)

Graves: Can't make a decision? Well, that's just too bad… *Graves charges in to attack Jin.*

Jin: (Shit! He's attacking already!)

(The two of them exchange attacks, but eventually Jin is no longer able to continue fighting. Graves realizes this too, and begins to taunt him.)

Graves: What's the matter Jin? Where's your will to fight? Where is… your pride?

(Just then…)

Lady Shirina: *Slowly walks out of the crater* Did you really think you'd defeat me so easily Jin? I'm going to obliterate you!

Graves: After all that talk, it seems I am the one true grave digger. Nothing, no one can save you now.

Jin: *Gasping for air…* (My vision's fading, and my body feels so weak. I… I can't stay on my feet.) *He falls to the ground* 

Graves: So, that's all you've got huh? I knew you were just Wabba City trash. 

Lady Shirina: Come Graves, let's end this now.

Graves: With pleasure, Lady Shirina.

*The two of them jump high into the air, and land on his back with their knees.*

Graves: Alright, it's done. 

Lady Shirina: Just remember, all of this was because of you Jin.

*The two of them walk away back to the Norahs kingdom…*

Jin: (Damn! What's… what's happening to me? I'm falling into darkness. Is this the end for me? Am I…-)

Roux: (Don't you ever let me even hear of you giving up!)

Jin: *Gasp*

Sonjo: (What're you doing Jin? Giving up already?) 

Khan: (C'mon Jin, I thought you were stronger than that.)

Jin: (What?) 

Taliah: (You promise?)

Jin: (I promise.)

Mamiko: (How do we know you'll keep it?)

Jin: (I made you a promise, and my promises are everything to me.)

*The flashbacks end…*

Jin: (That's right… Everyone, I made a promise, to all of you.) *He slowly stands to his feet* And that's why… As a promise… Since I promised I… I must not give up. 

Graves: *Notices Jin getting up* You broken piece of trash, just give up…

*The two of them begin charging at Jin again.*

Jin: Give up? *He begins charging up an attack in his hand* I told you I'll never… *The attack erupts into a massive ball of energy* GIVE UUUUUUUP! 

*He shoots the energy from his hand back towards them. The two of them collide with it since they were right in front of Jin before he released it* Jin continues to use the last bit of his power to hold them off, while they try to push the attack away. But just then, everything goes silent and still. Jin notices that nothing is moving, and everyone except him is frozen in place. He stops his attack…* (Stop playing the song)

Jin: Huh?

Roux: Sorry to keep you, Jin. 

Jin: That voice… It's Roux!

Roux: *Descends from the air gracefully* You fought four of them on your own, and one of them had void perception. You should be dead right now, and I'm extremely pissed at you for almost getting yourself killed again!

Jin: But…

Roux: You did hold your own, and you've gotten a lot stronger. I'm proud of you Jin.

Jin: Hm, I never thought I'd hear you say that.

Roux: Well, you won't be getting it out of me a second time. *She walks up so that they're standing side by side* Help me out here.

Jin: With pleasure!

*The two of them launch a devastating attack into Graves and Lady Shirina. Time resumes and the attack sends them flying.*

Lady Shirina: What the?! How are we- *Gasps* YOU!

Roux: Lady Shirina…

Graves: HEY! Aren't you forgetting someone?

Roux: No. I acknowledged the one that matters…

Baron Hampton/Ayumi: *In unison* OOOOOOOOOOOH!

Graves: You little bitch!

Lady Shirina: Don't tell me you think you can actually defeat me Roux? Remember that I'm the one who took your life away when you were a child. I'm the one responsible for all the pain you've suffered your entire life. I essentially own you, you're nothing more than a pawn in my game! I've ruined countless lives, yours included. The day your life was removed from you was the most important day in your life. But for me, it was only Monday! *Continuous evil laugh*

Graves: *Joins in with his own evil laugh*

Jin: So evil… Roux, let's hurry up and- *He stops as he sees tears running down her face, a face full of resentment and anger*

Ayumi: Roux?

Baron Hampton: Aw c'mon Lady Shirina: You don't really mean that.

Ayumi: Big brother please! 

(Play the song 波羅蜜恋華) *Just then, the sky goes dark, and a strange aura begins to surround Roux. It's nothing like the one Lalah emitted. This one is more controlled, refined, a different color, and yet even more powerful.*

Lady Shirina: *Goes from laughing to gasping for air in shock*

Graves: What?! She can do it too?! 

Lady Shirina: Those eyes… *She begins to walk back slowly in fear* She has those eyes…

Jin: Whoa, I've never seen these two so scared before. You really are something Roux.

Roux: Did you really think that child of yours with her incomplete void perception would actually save you? Did you think I'd never find out about my past? About all you had done to me? You fools, I'm going to finish what you started. Now you'll face the true power of void perception. Now, you'll face death.

Jin: (Oh man, she's scary when she's serious. I'm glad that she's not taking that out on me, I'm good!)

Roux: Jin, I want you to let me handle this. You sit back and rest, I'll take care of both of them.

Jin: Yeah. I'd hate to interrupt the hell you're about to give them. Go give em hell Roux! 

Roux: *She nods at Jin, before walking towards them* You both should know this by now, but I'm mostly void of any emotions I had. I do have one though, and it's not compassion, it's hate. Pure, unadulterated hate for you and anyone around you. You're going to feel the full extent of that hate.

Graves: Har har. Look at you, trying to throw a pity party. Don't know one care about you and your traumatic life. *Just then, he feels the control he has over his body disappear.* Hey, what the?!

Roux: Tell me Graves, would anyone care if you were to die right now? *She brings him toward her without moving at all (this is the power of void perception)

Graves: Huh? What do you mean?!

Roux: You're so dumb. I may have a traumatic life, but at least I have a life. You on the other hand, you're off the hook.

Graves: No! PUT ME DOWN YOU BITCH! 

Roux: Put you down? Bitch, please. *She lifts up her index finger*

Graves: *Angry yell* That void perception won't save you. WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON YOU I'll-

Roux: Goodbye. *She taps her finger on his forehead, and the life very quickly drains out of Graves. There is no sound, other than the sound of void perception activating. Graves remain still in the air…* Not very perceptive, are you Graves? 

*Everyone stands in shock after witnessing what just happened.* (Play Memória! Xion's Theme + Vector to the Heavens [Orchestral]

Lady Shirina: *Trembles in fear* 

Roux: 15 years… I've had my mind riddled with traumatic events for 15 years. You took away the life of myself and so many others, just so you could find this power. And look where it lead you. To be demolished by the very thing you sought out for so long. 

Lady Shirina: Cry me a river…

Roux: I'd rather the rivers run red with your blood. I'm going to kill you, Shirina!

*For the next minute straight, Roux continues to pummel and beat the life out of Lady Shirina. Everyone watches on, as 15 years of hate seeps out of every attack she sends. 

Baron Hampton: ROUX, STOP! YOU'RE GONNA KILL HER!

Roux: That's the point…

Baron Hampton: BUT YOU CAN'T KILL HER! SHE'S MY WIFE!

Ayumi: Big brother, NO! *She holds his leg so he isn't able to move.*

Baron Hampton: Ayumi, let me go!

Roux: There's no escaping me now.

Lady Shirina: *Slight evil laugh*

Roux: What's so funny?

Lady Shirina: Look at what's become of you. So violent and twisted. You're no better than me. All that power, all your life… Everything that you are, you owe to me. You can kill me now if you want, but you know this will always be true. *Evil laugh*

Roux: *Stands there silently charging up her dagger, then she stops.* You're right.

Lady Shirina: What?

Roux: I never would've gotten this power if it weren't for you. So, let me properly show you my thanks.

Lady Shirina: Your thanks?

Roux: Hey Jin, what's that thing you always say?

Jin: I say a lot of things, you gotta be more specific. 

Roux: You know, that thing about eating.

Jin: Oh, you mean you are what you eat? Yeah, why?

Roux: *Just then, a giant hole appears straight through Lady Shirina's stomach.* That would make Lady Shirina a donut.

*Lady Shirina falls to the ground, the life completely gone from her (and her stomach apparently). Everyone stands in shock, appalled by the brutality they just witnessed at the hands of Roux* (Stop playing the song)
