Little sister comforting Childhood friend
The 2nd day of the camping trip has begun but Shino was crying and screaming when she woke up.
When everyone was worried due to Shino screaming and crying when she woke up.
???: poor Shino-chan she looks depressed.
???: I know right? Why did she scream and cried?
Kaneki: you girls should not talk about that.
???: Higanbana-kun?
Kaneki: its mostly a nightmare about a traumatic memory.
Keita: what makes you think that?
Kaneki: I'm just guessing, anyways Ku-kun! Yanma! Can you two help me make the fire to cook breakfast?
Ku-kun: Ku!
Yanma: Ya!
Kaneki was getting ready to make breakfast while Shino was still in shock.
Keiko: hey Shino! Anybody home? Hey!
???: hey Tanaka-san! Hello!
Ryueki: here let me try. Hey Tanaka!
She still didn't respond.
Miku: you guys leave her alone.
Ryueki: why?
Miku: just leave her alone she probably had one heck of a nightmare to make her like this.
Keiko: oh well I'll go then but heres some headpats for you Shino!
She patted Shino's head.
Ryueki: fine then I'm off.
After everyone left her alone Miku took Shino's hand and said.
Miku: hey Shino-Oneechan lets go for a walk so you could clear your mind.
Miku took Shino and walked into the forest.
Natsuki's thoughts*
(Poor Tanaka-chan she is petrified by fear, I hope she would recover soon. But her colors were a bit strange there was more color of guilt than fear. I wonder what she feels guilty about?)
6 minutes later*
Miku brought Shino somewhere a bit far from camp so no one could them.
Miku sat Shino on a big rock and she asked her.
Miku: Shino-Oneechan what's wrong?
Shino: ...
Miku: does it have to do with... Onii-chan?
Shino: !!!
Miku's thoughts*
(I knew it!)
Miku: why? What happened?
Shino: ... I... Had a nightmare.
Miku: wait really?! That's it?!
Shino: it wasn't just a normal nightmare! It was a memory.
Miku: a memory?
Miku's thoughts*
(She looks very distressed what could have happened in this dream memory)
Miku: do you... Wanna talk about it?
Shino: !!!
Miku: but hey! If you don't wanna I won't force you.
Seeing Miku being concerned about her Shino made a decision.
Shino: don't worry I'll tell you.
Miku: alright, I'm all ears.
Shino began to tell Miku what happened in the nightmare.
Shino: do you remember what happened before the entrance ceremony?
Miku's thoughts*
(Wait that?)
Miku: yeah i remember. You woke up late and Yuuka-Oneechan stayed up all night so Onii-chan treated you two some banana bread.
Shino: Yeah... Well when we finally entered the entrance ceremony things went exactly what happened on that day.
Miku: oh I see.
Shino: but unlike what happened I saw Kaneki.
Miku: you saw him?
Shino: yeah... I tried to run towards him but i couldn't get close then I was in our classroom.
Miku: and what happened?
Shino: Itadori-kun tried talking to me but i noticed him again.
Miku: Onii-chan?
Shino: yes, i tried to get close to him again but he kept getting farther away no matter how much I try to get close i couldn't get to him.
Miku's thoughts*
(She kept trying even in her dream)
Miku: then what happened after that?
Shino: i found myself outside my home and... Right at the gate of your home was Kaneki and he said the words I told you when told out stories of how we learned of our mistake.
Miku: those words?!
Shino: Yeah, i called out to him and told him I'm his childhood friend and that i won't leave him alone. but...
Miku: but what?
Shino: he didn't see me as Me he saw me as a fake trying to imitate the real deal.
Miku was in shock.
Shino: I kept telling him I'm his childhood friend and I told him ever since that day I've always regretted it but his reply was "don't speak to me you fake,you are not her, don't talk to me, don't go near me and i hate you."
Shino began to burst into tears.
Shino: and the last thing he said was! " I hate you i wished I've never met you" and after he said that he began to turn to somethi-!
Miku: Shino-Oneechan calm down! Here wipe your tears.
Shino grabbed the handkerchief from Miku and began to wipe her tears.
Shino: sorry, its just it felt to real to me and those words was too much for me.
Miku: are you afraid of him hating you?
Shino: its not just that! I'm afraid that he'll never accept me again!, I'm afraid he'll avoid me forever and, what I'm afraid of most is that he would no longer be himself!
Shino bursted into tears crying.
Shino: why?! Why on that day?! I chose Itadori-kun but and not him?! I'm a horrible person and a horrible childhood friend! I wish i could turn back time and fix my mistake!.
Miku's thoughts*
(You aren't the only one who thinks that Shino-Oneechan.)
Miku: Shino-Oneechan.
Shino: what? Sobbing*
Miku: squish my cheeks.
Shino: huh?
Miku: c'mon just do it i also have something to tell you.
Shino:... Fine.
Shino began to squish Miku's cheeks. And Miku began to talk.
Miku: Shino-Oneechan is one of Onii-chan's first friends even before I became his sister you know and Onii-chan is one of Shino-Oneechan's first friends too.
Shino's thoughts*
(What is she saying?)
Miku: you two were kind to each other and sometimes you fight but you two always forgave each.
Shino: but its different now, I've hurt him so badly.
Miku: i understand that, I've also hurt him badly. But what makes Onii-chan, Onii-chan is that he will always think of us as his precious people.
Shino: but are we even still his precious people? We all had hurt him besides Sachi and she is probably the only one who is worthy of being his precious people same goes for Mizutani-san and Chi-chan.
Miku: Onii-chan, will always be Onii-chan.
Shino: what do you mean?
