Chapter 42: Mature Ten-tails

The night sky shimmered with countless stars, while a full moon illuminated the surroundings with its radiant glow. The mesmerizing beauty of the moon captivated all who beheld it, casting a magical aura over the world.

As the rest of the world slept, the city came alive with vibrant lights and bustling nightlife. However, this would be a night to remember for a different reason.

"Yumi, it's time for you to relinquish control of the Ten-Tails on this planet and accompany me. Once I cast the Infinite Tsukuyomi, you will rejoin the Ten-Tails and absorb all life. Returning to the chakra fruit's final blooming process will further accelerate your evolution," Yukari spoke in a nurturing tone, a motherly concern evident in her voice.

She continued, emphasizing the potential danger, "Remember, the Ten-Tails lacks your intelligence. It will be mindless, driven solely by its instinct to absorb life. It may even try to absorb you. I cannot bear the thought of losing you," Yukari added solemnly, her worry for her daughter evident in her words.

Yumi, with an air of confidence, responded, "Hehe, don't worry, Mommy. I will ensure my safety is my top priority. I'll make the consciousness of the Ten-Tails my loyal dog," she said playfully, letting out a cute giggle.

"Tia, stay close to me during this process; I'll give you some of my chakra now so you don't get caught in the genjusu." Yukari explained to Tiamat as she began walking towards her. She placed her plump lips on her lover, spreading her chakra. Tiamat started glowing purple with each kiss. A purple chakra outline began to surround her.

As they pulled away from each other, Yukari and Tia gasped for breath. Tia's cheeks were flushed as she looked up at Yukari with a smile. "Thank you, Yuki," she said softly. As they approached, Tia clung to Yukari's hand tightly.

Suddenly, Yumi appeared and nestled in her mother's arms, wagging her ten fluffy tails with delight. She buried her snow-white head into Yukari's chest, finding comfort and warmth in her embrace. "Nice to see you, Yumi," Yukari spoke softly, her hand gently stroking her daughter's fur.

With each stroke from Yukari's finger, Yumi felt a deep sense of calm and relaxation wash over her. She closed her eyes, releasing a contented sigh, completely absorbed in the soothing touch of her mother.

The flow of Yukari's chakra through Yumi's body only deepened their bond, making her feel even safer and more loved than before.

"M-Mommy, me too," Yumi mumbled in response, her voice barely audible as she reveled in the pleasure of being petted. Tiamat couldn't resist the sight of the adorable bunny in Yukari's hands, captivated by its cuteness.

Overwhelmed by the overflowing adorableness, she couldn't contain her excitement. "Ahh, you are so cute, Yumi!" Tiamat exclaimed, quickly joining in to stroke Yumi's fur.

"Thank you, mommy. You look so beautiful in person. I'm happy to have another mother," Yumi expressed her happiness, unaware of the emotional impact her words had on Tiamat.

Tiamat's mind went into a frenzy, repeating, "I'm a mommy, hehe. I have a daughter," as her brain struggled to process the overwhelming joy that flooded her.

Yukari watched the interaction between Tiamat and Yumi with a keen interest, relieved to see their acceptance of each other. She didn't want her relationship with Yumi to become strained and was cautious about having more than one lover in addition to being her mother.

Suddenly, the ground around the God Tree cracked, causing Yukari to react swiftly. She grabbed both Tiamat and Yumi and took to the skies, ascending high above the ground. "At long last, the ten-tails has matured. Yumi, you've done well in controlling its mind in its late stage of maturity," Yukari exclaimed.

As they witnessed the God Tree shrinking back into its original form, Tiamat couldn't help but wonder, "Does that mean even if we intervened, the Ten Tails would still emerge?" Yukari nodded in response.

"Yes, Tia, but my mother's clan usually offers a sacrifice to make the fruit stronger and more potent. However, what we've done will suffice for the time being," she explained.

With each passing second, the earth began to rumble, unleashing countless disasters across nations. The once towering God Tree, a symbol of power and worship for many, visibly shrank before their eyes. Its roots and branches retreated into the ground, as if the tree itself were alive.

The disappearance of the God Tree triggered panic and confusion among the nations, particularly among the elves who revered it as a source of magic and life. They feared that without it, their powers would diminish, and their way of life would be forever altered.

As the news of the God Tree's disappearance spread, people sought answers and began searching for those who might have been involved in this catastrophic event. The world was enveloped in an eerie silence until an unsettling cry pierced through the air, resonating from all directions.

The cry was unlike anything anyone had ever heard, a nauseating wail that instilled fear and despair. The elves trembled with unease, and the other nations were equally shaken, each grappling with their own fear and confusion, struggling to comprehend the magnitude of what had transpired.

Yet, despite it all, the haunting sound persisted, echoing into the darkness, further deepening the sense of foreboding that had engulfed the world.
