After a final examination, Reiki withdrew his hand from Obito's forehead. Just then, Nozuki and Shisui entered the room, and Reiki nodded at them.
"Ah, you're both here. Good timing," Reiki said, though his expression remained serious. "Let's all talk after dinner. Obito, stay with me for a bit longer."
Seeing the slight tension in Reiki's face, Shisui guided Nozuki to the kitchen to help prepare the meal. Just as they began, Shizune entered, adding to the bustle.
"Shizune, what brings you here?" Nozuki asked with a smile.
"Reiki asked me to come by and help," Shizune replied, rolling up her sleeves. Together, the three worked seamlessly, but their efforts were interrupted when Tsunade entered the kitchen.
"Teacher!" Shizune exclaimed, surprised.
"Reiki asked me to lend a hand," Tsunade said with a half-smile. Then, turning to Shisui, she asked, "What's going on with Obito? That kid had an odd look about him earlier."
But Shisui and the others only shrugged, none of them knowing the full story.

Once dinner was ready, they all gathered in the living room. Reiki and Obito joined the group, and everyone began to eat without discussing the issue.
After dinner, Obito thanked everyone and excused himself to prepare for his first day with Minato the following morning.
With Shizune gone, Tsunade glanced at Reiki with a playful yet serious expression. "Alright, what's going on, Reiki? Don't try to dodge it."
"It's nothing too major," Reiki replied. "I stayed within the boundaries you set, Teacher."
"Obito's eyes, Reiki," Tsunade interrupted, growing impatient. "What's going on with his Sharingan?"
With a sigh, Reiki nodded. "It's… odd. His Sharingan activated its second tomoe without any apparent emotional trigger."
Tsunade looked intrigued but slightly confused. "Is that unusual for the Uchiha?"
"Extremely," Shisui said, trying to add context. "The second tomoe typically only appears after a powerful emotional experience. For Obito to awaken it without one is… unusual."
"I checked him thoroughly," Reiki continued, "and I couldn't detect any irregularities in his chakra or eyesight. But something feels… off."
Tsunade didn't press further, showing little interest in the details. "Alright, if there's nothing critical, let's leave it at that." With a yawn, she stood and headed toward her room, waving them off. "Finish cleaning up and get some rest."
As she left, Shisui turned to Reiki, still puzzled. "Why did you tell her so openly about Obito's Sharingan?"
Reiki's voice softened as he replied, "I trust her. And I trust you. Besides, Teacher wouldn't be interested in Uchiha secrets."
Shisui's expression softened, understanding the unspoken bond of trust between them. Without another word, Reiki led the way into the courtyard, stretching out on the grass, his gaze on the stars.
"So, Shisui," he began, "what do you think? Could Obito's Sharingan have mutated due to some unknown influence?"
Shisui looked thoughtful, lying down beside him. "Possibly. If it is some anomaly in his Sharingan, maybe he'll be able to break past the limits of the Uchiha's eyes. But we'll only know as time goes on."
Reiki's eyes narrowed with a fierce determination. "When I finally make a name in the shinobi world, I won't do it halfway. I'll make sure the world remembers it."
For now, though, they could only prepare and strengthen themselves. And until they were ready, they would wait—quietly, carefully, and with purpose.
