Ren,A Master Swordsman is reincarnated in the AU Naruto world as a civilian child where Minato and Kushina are still alive. The plot he knew got all messed up now. Let's see how he becomes strong,even though he is just a civilian. Note:- I do not own the Narutoverse and it's characters except for the Ocs, they belong to their respective owners.
Ren Takashi was a world renowned Sword Master, but, being born in the wrong era where Swordsmanship was just a sport, he was not able to fully utilise his talent.He always felt that he could improve.
On seeing Ren one would expect him to be very strict and hard to communicate; On some level people were right, but, from the inside, he was a very kind person. He would often volunteer to help people in need and also donated a large sum of money every year. He would often spend time with his family. Sometimes he would watch anime with his younger brother, and his favourite one was Naruto. He would often think that if he had the strong body and powers from those in Naruto, how far he could hone his Swordsmanship.
One night, Ren was walking on the street for some fresh air, he saw a boy carelessly running on the street. As he was about to go to the boy to tell him to be careful, he saw a truck approaching him at a high speed. Without any thoughts he ran and pushed the boy to save him. Unfortunately for him, he himself was hit and lost consciousness.
When Ren opened his eyes, he saw he was lying on a surface which reflected the sky above.
As he was looking around confusingly he heard a voice from behind who said,
"A very kind soul Indeed."
"Aah!", Ren shouted and turned around.
He saw an old figure with a long beard and dressed in all white.
After a moment,he asked with fear in his voice,"Who are you and where am I ?!"
"Calm down child, I am what your people call God, and for your other question, you died while saving the boy and now you are in my domain." said the old man with a calm voice.
After a few minutes Ren sighed and said with a sad voice,"So I am dead huh."
"Sadly yes."said the old man in his calm voice.
"Is the boy okay atleast?" asked Ren.
"Yes he is", the old man replied, this time sounding intrigued.
"I see your desire for Swords, hmmm."
After a pause, he said smiling, "I am going to reincarnate you in the Naruto world with your memories intact, which is real by the way and not just an anime, everything will be the same as you have read before you are born but things will change after that. I will give you the elemental lightning body since you showed kindness even after your death. I hope you achieve your goals and make the world you will go to a better place. Oh and also you will get your memories when you are five. Now off you go."
Before Ren could speak, he blacked out.

Konoha, In an apartment,
A small boy around 3 looking at an older boy around 5 was sobbing while shouting,
"wake up big brother!wake up!"
The older one opened his eyes with some difficulty and sat on the bed. The younger one who was still sobbing,seeing this hugged the older one tightly without any intention to let go.
Seeing this the older patted the younger one's head softly with care and said instinctively,
"everything will be okay Souta, your big brother will not let anything happen to you."
After a moment the older one said with a kind voice,
"Let's go to your favourite place for dinner, now go and get ready."
Souta, after some time, stopped crying and put on a big smile and replied excitedly,
"Yay!don't go back on your words big brother."
He then ran out of the room jumping happily.
'It is intriguing to see how children can have such varying emotions',thought the older boy while chuckling.
'Now for the important thing,let me first organize my memories.'

It's my first time writing something,so there are bound to be mistakes.I will not be uploading frequently maybe even for months so sorry for that.I am writing this as I love Naruto.
